Analyzing Moral Issues combines the appeal and strengths of the moral issues approach with a solid foundation in moral theory and moral reasoning. In addition to providing an overview of some of the major moral issues in our society, this text gives students the hands-on skills necessary to recognize and analyze moral arguments while introducing them to both Western and non-Western moral theories.
I like how the book remained factual when it came to controversial issues. The author rarely added her own personal views, and when she did, she made it clear they were her thoughts. As much as I hated learning about philosopher's theories, I did like to read the case studes and true events that were included in the book. If you want to learn more about issues, and argue for or against them with solid points, this book is for you.
