No one prepared me for being stuck in the Underworld with a mad woman who claims to be my mother.
Here I thought that finding out I’m a succubus would be the biggest shock of my life. It turns out that the paranormal world has a lot in store for me.
But escaping from Hell is just the start. Things have gotten worse on Earth while I’ve been gone, and I have the sneaking suspicion my mother is behind it all. When her followers break out of Hell with me, I’ll have to hunt them down.
Thankfully I’m not alone. I have Naomi, Leon, Elah, Tae Min, Petyr, and others by my side. Accepting that they care for me is harder now that I know more of who I really am.
Together, we’ll have to stop Hell on Earth—and my very existence is at the center of it all.

Lucy Auburn is an urban fantasy/paranormal romance writer who lives in the Southwest. She loves writing interesting stories about strong women. Some of the writers who inspire her include Patricia Briggs and Sarah J. Maas.
This is the second book in this series and it's better than the first. This one starts right at the end of the first, which I like a lot. I was excited, scared, angry, and drooly throughout the book. Every time I thought they would get a chance to breathe, something else happens. The twists and surprises kept me guessing. I found myself talking to my Kindle a couple of times. It was a really exciting read. The characters' personalities are enough to picture the emotions described. I felt like I knew each one of them. I am really excited for the next book. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Secrets, mysteries, prophecies and truths keep being revealed in this second installment of this amazing book series.
There was some parts I thought were a little slow in this book but I also felt that you were getting a lot of information and I'm not sure how you would go about making it feel less slow, except to include more fighting and maybe a few more steamy scenes instead of so many individuals POVs.
Like I said so much gets revealed in this book which is amazing. There is sort of a cliff hanger but it doesn't make me wonder about the next book too much.
Overall, this is a good book in what is an amazing series.
Well, all of the slow burn from book one was replaced with a fast track in book two. Selena is a sex machine who makes out with and has sex with half the people she encounters. Yes, I realize that this is a RH, so it's sort of expected.
Grammar is an issue with this installment. It's not a deal breaker, but it is a bit annoying.
I think the overarching plot line is interesting, and that's what's kept me interested so far. If you take that away, it's just Selena hooking up with people.

This is an author I never read before this story and I am so glad I found her she is gonna become one of my favorite authors now. Hell Sucks by Lucy Auburn is a book I loved reading, when I started reading it I didn't know what to expect but when I started reading it she made me feel like I was living the story instead of just reading it. I loved this story and I highly recommend it for all.

Selena has gone to Hell. When she gets there, she meets her mother who locks her away and tries to make her just like her. Not going to happen. She finds a way out with a little help only to find she has brought Hell back with her. Between the fighting, the relationships and the discovery of who she is, Selena has more on her plate than she knows what to do with.

I did enjoy the first book very much and this second one blew my expectation i was pleasantly surprised.. i was surprised by the development of certain relationships that grew leaps and bounds but due to what happen it makes sense the end was very shocking but hooked me into wanting to read the third book
An interesting, action packed sequel to Fae Like Me. Selena finds herself in a predicament as her and her fellow fae and dark hunter friends search for the key. They find they have to fight for their lives along the way and are stunned when the truth unfolds. I am looking forward to Godspring!

Hell sucks by Lucy Auburn. No one prepared me for being stuck in the Underworld with a mad woman who claims to be my mother. This was a good read. Little slow in places but I still read it. 3*.

This was a fantastic read. I wasn't sure that I would continue the series because the first book was a slow read but I am so glad that I did. This book is full of action and secrets. I love the characters and can't wait for the conclusion.
If you like hot and heroic characters, spicy situations, and thrilling action, this is your series. This supernatural imaginative series smokes the pages from page one to the end. I am eagerly looking forward to reading the next book. Enjoy!
Holy cow, this book is amazing! It’s crazy action packed, and some really well written development occurs relationship wise. I loved the direction the storyline has gone, and holy cow that ending was so good!
This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites!
This is my 1st read and review for this author but I didn’t realise until it was too late that this is book 2 to the series so I haven’t read book 1 and I will try my best with this review, in saying that though I did enjoy reading this story. There are great descriptions of the characters and the places with different points of view and I like that in a story, there’s action, danger, suspense, evil, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. Even though I didn’t read book 1 I wasn’t confused with the story I got right into it and it’s a very exciting read. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
