I picked up this book not because I wanted to lose weight but since I had heard so much about the practicality of it and must I say that it is an absolute must read for its sheer simplicity and profound knowledge showing how simple, interconnected and intelligent the entire human body and systems are and how easy it is to have a healthy mind and body provided we start listening to them and respecting them.
Offlate "Being healthy" has also become a part of insta hashtags of millenials. So i just gave the book a try as to why a healthy lifestyle is important is it worth the hype . It convinced me 75% of me that "Yes it is" .

The authors have included the sources which again raises our faith on the suggestions.

This book is a must read and essential for all. With globalisation people in genral learnt very unhealthy ways to fill ourselves. They neglected their mindfulness and often suppressed their emotions by binging on unhealthy processed food and snacks. As India is fast becoming the diabetes and cardiac arrest capital of the world, there is a need to dissuade ourselves on aspiring to eat like the American way or the Chinese way. There may be nothing wrong in eating that once in a while but we need to be aware of proper balanced nutrition.
This book is something which I would like to get back to every once in a while to be encouraged in my journey of a good lifestyle. I would love to internalise and not just read the precious advices for our good health from the book.
This is my second health related life style book. What my understanding about all self help books is they all illustrate what we have known already in such a way that we can follow practically. This book not only reiterates the life style changes, but also gave insights on what happens scientifically when we follow any life style. My first life style book was by Rujutha Diwekar. I know its not good to compare two books, but I want to mention one major difference I have identified. Both nutritionists explains the importance of eating regular intervals and fasting on some days. But, Rujuta stresses more on eating regular intervals, where Luke Coutinho stresses on fasting. He also explains various fasting, precautions to be taken and also how to break fasting. I wondered to know MSG ingredient has various names and those names are mentioned on labels. In last pages, dont miss customer testimonials as well as they give some more information. One may wonder, why I have rated three star as everything is good. What I feel is, for few issues, diet is not mentioned clearly while for few reasons are not mentioned clearly. Like what to avoid when having specific health issues like thyroid and diabetes, why we should not eat fruits in the evening. I like the way he explains importance of sleeping , having emotional control and so on. P.S It may not be must read book, but book is quite good to get some'insights on the reasons to follow life style changes.
This is my third book by the author, and I must say I am really disappointed this time. The first book that I read was Eat Right.., and it was quite good because it was informative and kind of a journal which helps us in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Then the second book was the RESET health journal, which was again OK and not so extraordinary. Then I bought this one, which claimed to give us 62 lifestyle changes that can bring back our health on track and result in weight loss, but there is nothing new in it except some things here and there. I am not questioning the methods of philosophy that Luke follows in making a healthy India, but giving the same things which we've already seen in his videos, posts etc. in the form of a book is not so appealing. We've seen the videos that Luke shares every now and then, his posts about various health issues and how to develop the healthy habits, is more than sufficient for us to understand the importance of health. It was not necessary to put the same things together in a book and present us. All in all, not bad, but its a repetition, so read it only if you have not seen his posts or videos.
This book was recommended to me by my fat friend who is no more fat now and incorporated many things from this book to reduce his weight and after reading this I can feel once I incorporate few stuffs out of many option i will also be able to achieve my goal of reducing weight and remaining fit...
Having followed Luke on instagram, listened to him talk and demonstrate healthy living and eating AND having incorporated and seen results of some of his recommendations, I just had to read this book and it didn't fail to deliver! Simple changes to lifestyle can result in remarkable improvements in how we feel in our body. Definitely a must-read, if you're keen on eating and living healthy.

Good Book. I am studying Ayurveda presently and i see such similarities in the approach. This is because how many ever ways we try to understand the Truth, we should remember Truth is one and hence we will have lot in common.
Just started to read 2 days back. Points that author want to bring out are realistic and practical. Expected much more to come. There are other aspect in getting a healthier body, amongst which most is health mind without which nothing is possible.

Luke is a amazing lifestyle expert, health expert, nutritionist. This book gives you inspiration about how our body works. Fitness is a journey and not a destination.
Print Edition Good. This book contains a lot for the uninformed ones. Some of the diseases and metabolic processes have been explained very well in simple terms. But there are almost no possible course of action or solutions suggested for obesity. Magical remedies are looming large every where. First 100 pages have been re-written in next 13o pages. Too many disputed satements not endorsed by science of modern day medicine are there in the book. But still a good read.
