Her paradise is crumbling, and she'll do just about anything to salvage what remains. Following Eden's mass migration to a new haven ruled by an old friend, Eve struggles with her loss of power and is driven by an insatiable thirst to gain control over this new paradise. Meanwhile, Gabriel attempts to cope with the ghosts of his past and becomes too unstable to live among the others. During all of this, Lucy finds herself enchanted by all that this new place has to offer and becomes intrigued by a charming new boy. What she doesn't know, however, is that she is about to uncover a devastating secret that will change everything. Genesis, the suspenseful third book in the Eden series, delivers on its promise to keep readers on the edge of their seats.
Just finished my ARC copy of Genesis and must say that the is good but to me not as exciting as the first two but it still held my attention. It helped to fill out of the past on the main characters and to me that was very helpful. Would I recognised book to you the readers. Well that depends on you the reader if you enjoy this type of book which I do then yes but also recommend that you read the first two books in this series to understand that main characters and what brought us to this place and time. So all in all I am giving this book 4stars and can't wait to see where this is going and how it will end.
Good luck to you readers and I hope you enjoy this series as much as I do and to Ms.G.C.Julien please keep up the excellent work.
I received a free advance copy (or an ARC copy), in exchange for an honest review, and here is my review. This book is an exciting look into a possible future. A world were men and women are at war with each other but in this book they are trying to take steps to repair that. It has many twist and spins, that will leave you guessing. I have been really enjoying this series. The way the world is going now with the controversial laws effecting women, more and more I see this book becoming real. This book can be more than just entertainment which it definitely is, but can also be a warning that the sexes need to start working together not against each other.
Absolutely the best in the series. I hate Eve. Lord do I hate that woman and want her to pay. But honestly the sheep women don't deserve help in my opinion. Stand up for what's right, stop the hero come save me attitude!!! Lucy...oh my word that recording. I can't believe it!!!! I need book 4. Need need need.
I gave this novel 5 stars because I literally could not put it down and cant wait to see what happens in the next book in this series. It makes you feel as if you exist in this dystopian world and your own life may be altered by the decisions of the characters.
