Roman has adored movie star Therese Andrews since he was the tender age of fifteen. She was eighteen at the time and was the most glamorous woman he’d ever seen.
As the years passed, Roman’s devotion never wavered. He obsessed over every movie, TV interview, or magazine cover featuring his fantasy woman. Now an adult and working on Broadway as a Head Electrician, he’s stunned to learn Therese Andrews will be joining the current cast.
At first, he’s so nervous around her he can barely speak. Once he gets to know Therese, known to her friends as Tessa, something amazing happens. He falls in love. Not with the famous movie star, but with the sweet, imperfect, real woman behind the celebrity.
Roman’s lifelong obsession with Therese Andrews was mere fantasy, but his love for Tessa is real.
Can Tessa ever see Roman as anything more than just another fanboy?

Finding Their Forever, a Wall Street to Broadway book, by Linda Fausnet is a somewhat accurate view of backstage at a Broadway show. Roman is the master electrician at the Al Hirshfeld Theatre in New York. He loved his job. He loved it more when he was not spending all day loading a show in with the temperature outside below zero. The new show was Pirates and was coming, with rave reviews, from off-Broadway with just a couple of cast changes. As it turns out, movie star Therese Andrews was one of those changes. Roman had had a crush on her since he was a kid and all his crewmates knew it. The big question was: would she be good onstage? as good as in the movies?
For a Broadway love this book is filled with accurate backstage images and anecdotes. The characters and situations were real, if simplified. The cast and crews reactions to one another were priceless and entertaining. This is a romance and there was plenty of that, from the very beginning or before, through all the angst, to happily-ever-after. The friendships were solid and well-deserved. All in all, Finding Their Forever was an engrossing book that was a joy to read. I recommend it highly.
