Behind their brave and independent exteriors young men are searching for answers. Without counsel how can they find the path that leads to inner joy and lasting contentment? Practical Happiness: A Young Man's Guide to a Contented Life offers such counsel. Okay, so the books Bob Schultz wrote were for boys...and I am a girl. But, even though they're written for boys, pretty much all of the principles still apply to us girls, and I really enjoyed them; they're easy to listen to, and full of stories and real-life examples. :)

Finished just in time to give to my brother for his birthday. Approved! Definitely a book he should have. This is every bit as good as Schultz's other "boy" books, though less well-known.

I have to say I am a big fan of Bob Schultz's writing. So interesting, easy to understand and shows you how to live out a life the way God wants us to. This is the second book we are reading by this author and already love it. We read this about twice a week for morning time during term 2...krb 1/6/19

Picked up this book because I needed something to keep me focused on God during this time of my life and Mr Schultz's books are amazing. Reading during morning devotions, sometimes aloud to whoever is awake with me...keb 12/7/22 Again, so glad to revisit this book. Many things to common place about. A true gem to be reread over and over...krb 2/23/23

I wish I could give this book 10 stars. My kids and I are hoping that Mr. Schultz will come out with another book very soon, as we are already mourning our mornings with him.

Bob is much more open, vulnerable, and forthright in this book than in his previous outstanding books. We will be revisiting these chapters again and again.

May the Lord richly bless him, and he is always welcome at our table.

Excellent! I'm reading all of the Bob Schultz books to my brother and each of them is excellent! My brother likes the books and I like them, too. This particular volume contains some of the best musings on happiness ever written-- contained in one easy-to-read, personable book. Makes you think.

I like this book, but not greatly, because the lessons are put in a light that is easy to relate to.
