This is the second book i read by this author.. this was super fast.. if your looking for a quick read for lunch.. this can work.

I wish she wrote longer cuz this could have been a really good detailed book.. i love the plot idea.. i just wish i could have connected more since it was so fast pace.. i was ehh.. 45ish pages i needed more, i needed more office things with lanie and dorian.. i needed out of work fun times, i needed Dorian to be more alpha when it comes to Lanie.. wish also Lanie made him grovel for keeping her in the dark.. i just needed more character development.. :( but thats just me..

No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight tiny drama, sexy time, Not a manwhore and no virgins

This was my least favourite of the series. I can’t say that I liked Lanie all that much or Dorian. Lanie came off as too pushy for me. She was a temp and kept asking Dorian if and when he was going to hire her. She wasn’t opposed to using sex to tilt the wheel in her favour either. I didn’t like how Dorian referred to Lanie as a real woman, he was basically putting down all the other women in his office as being skinny and fake. He started hiring skinny women because curvy women were his type and I guess he didn’t trust himself around those kind of women. As soon as a curvy woman is hired on he is ready to pounce on her.
I just didn’t feel a connection between the two. I didn’t know a thing about these characters. It seemed that he was stringing her along about the job to get sex and she was using sex to get the job.

Completely safe. Mild ow drama by an ex secretary. H didn’t have a relationship with her she was mad because he fired her. No om drama. Both non virgins, pasts aren’t mentioned. No abuse.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This was the story of Lanie, a young woman who recently graduated college and was waiting tables until she found a full time job in marketing. Lanie's roommate had moved out and she really needed to find full time work to pay the bills, so she applied to a temp agency. When she got a call the next day for a job at a company for two weeks, she jumped at it. Lanie arrived at the company and was sent to the copy room to organize files. There she met Dorian Cave, the boss. Dorian was instantly attracted to Lanie and he thought she was qualified to do more than file. Dorian and Lanie were attracted to each other and they started to fool around at work, Lanie thought she might get a full time job at the company, but she wanted Dorian more. I liked this quick read. I liked Dorian, i thought he handled things well and he wouldn't let anyone make him do something he didn't want. I liked how he really cared for Lanie and wanted to make things easier for her. Good one.

Sexy Novella

Lanie gets a ten day temp job at Dorian’s business. Not quite 10 days of sexual encounters between the two does not a book make. I wanted so much more from the epilogue.

A short and sexy office romance. Dorian becomes so much more than just Laine's boss. I only wish that there was more meat to the story. There is so many things that could have happened that the overall sense of being rushed is hard to get by.

Lanie is working as a waitress until she can find a job working with her marketing degree. But its not enough to pay her bills so she signs up for a temp job and gets a ten day temp job at a sports agency. On her first day the girl over her puts her in making copies and filing. Then she gets a little talkative with a sexy guy before she is told to go see the big boss. Imagine her surprise when the sexy guy is the big boss. He ends up firing the girl who hired her because she didn't have the authority her and gives her a promotion. Things starts to heat up between them and then the former employee sees them together and tries to blackmail them. Will Dorian fire Lanie because of Rachel? Can Dorian and Lanie find a way to make it work together?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them if off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

"Wish I Had One of Those 10 Days Happened to Me!!!

I enjoy 10 days by Adele Niles, it's part of her five book series; this being number four in the series. It was short it punched a powerful storyline. The alpha male was strong, and powerful in his part with the female being strong-willed and strong powerful with what she wanted and what she wasn't going to take. Of course, you know that 99.9% of this is totally fictional because if this happens in real life, please tell me where the Short Line is LOL!!!

Again, Randi Johnson is a powerful narrator in this and all five of the books in the series and he does a very well job but with this particular book he dropped the ball when it came to the female part. I think he just relax or something but when it came to the male part of the vocals he took flight and soar through the sky. So, I couldn't give him five stars but I did give him four. I still recommend this book for others to listen to and I believe that they well enjoy it as well!

A quick little insta-lust story. Hired as a temp at a marketing firm, she runs into the boss on her first day and makes quite the impression on him. As she is struggling to find a permanent job, she hopes that what her and the boss have can help her get hired on full-time. It's a short story/novella so we don't get too in depth with the characters or their backgrounds. Just the basics needed to understand the story-line. The story also moves at a faster paced than your full length novel, so the heat index is there pretty early on. No slow burn or sexual tension build up at play here. It alternates between POVs.

Loved the book the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Lanie graduated from college and was waiting on tables until she could find a full-time job, so she applied to a temp agency, the temp agency got a 10 day job for her. Dorian is the boss of the sports agency, when he sees Lanie it was instant attraction, he promotes Lanie to be his personal assistant, the attraction is off the charts.

Adele Niles has done it again! Lanie and Dorian were simply amazing together. Lanie is tired of waitressing and struggling to pay off her student loans so she applies with a temp agency. She is immediately hired for a 10 day assignment. Dorian, founder and CEO of DC Sports Marketing takes one look at Lanie and he is smitten. He quickly moves her to his floor and she agrees to work under him for 10 days. But what happens when a vindictive ex-employee tries to tear them apart and what happens when the 10 days are up? Very steamy read that will leave you with a smile on your face!

Quick and easy, Adele Niles again brings a short that is hot and entertaining. Lainey is in of a real job. With a marketing degree, you would think it would be easy to find employment, but she finds herself taking a temp job. When Dorian, the boss sees her, he is immediately attracted. But will she let him act on it? Niles always gives us a well developed story, passion, love and a fun hour to escape. Randi Johnson brings his growlie sound to this one, making it easy to enjoy Dorian, and route for Lainey! Love his voice and enjoyed his performance in this audio.

Ten Days by Adele Niles is a curvy girl office romance novella that I listened to on audio narrated by Randi Johnson. This is the forth book in the Slippery Curves Series. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone.

I absolutely love Adele’s books. I just love the insta-love connection between the characters in this series. They always leave me smiling. I cannot wait to dive into the fifth book in the series Upstaged.

Randi did an amazing job on the narration. I love that he uses different tones/voices for each character. It really makes the story come to life.

Quick and Sexy Adult Novella.

Here goes a quick Ten days of a fantasy office romance for new Temp, Lanie💃💋, with her new boss, Dorian🐺🍆⛲. He's in his 40's but as an ex pro ⚾baseball player, he keeps in awesome shape!

The book is written with each characters point of view but it is also in first person, which I am not fond of. No character development, the story is mostly erotica.

Short and steamy with a full storyline and we'll developed characters.

Lanie takes a temp job at a sports marketing firm and finds herself instantly attracted to the boss and CEO, Dorian. He's attracted to her as well and impressed with her work. What is supposed to be a 10 day temp job becomes a dirty dream.

Dorian and Lanie have great chemistry. Even though this is a short and easy read, it's a fully developed story. I really enjoyed everything with this book.

Insta Lust

Very quick read, less than an hour for me. I thought that first off how unprofessional both women were. As a temporary worker in a new place how she spoke to the unknown man was wrong. Insta lust fine but to act on it in minutes of meeting each other at an office kind of hard to believe. But if you like quick reads go for it.
