Excelente introducción a la carta astral. Es una guía sencilla y muy completa para comprender la carta astral de uno mismo. Me pareció muy didáctico porque a la par que iba leyendo el libro comparaba con mi carta astral y la de mi esposo y siento que nos ayudó a conocernos un poco mejor.
Disfruté mucho la lectura.

Solo le quito una estrella porque siento que la traducción no es muy buena. Había veces en las que debía re-leer los párrafos para que me hicieran sentido y aún así no sentía que fueran muy coherentes. Me parece que hacían traducciones MUY literales, y en inglés probablemente suene bien, pero en español no tanto. Aún así, no es algo que afecte la comprensión general del libro, no es un defecto taaan relevante, diría yo.

This is definitely a good book for beginners. I previously knew some basics in astrology, and this book gave me a LOT more to think of. I definitely learned some things from this book and also got some more direction on what else I want to continue to dive into more in the future. The only thing I wish this book had more of is examples of how all the different facets of astrology relate to each other more.

This book found me at the right time. It helped orient me to the basic pieces of a horoscope, especially to the meaning of the houses, which I had been wondering about, and taught me how to look at the arrangement of the planets in the chart itself. Plus, at the end it has almost the exact "write out your own birth chart story" exercise I was going to do for myself. My only qualm is that it's pretty heterosexual/mainstream binary morality organized, e.g. there's a "high road" and "low road" for every sign, planet, etc.! I have been using it together (in conjunction, ha ha) with Chani Nicholas' You Were Born for This: Astrology for Radical Self-Acceptance, another one that's oriented toward beginners, and that's been a nice balance for me. Chani's explanations for sun, moon and ascendant details are richer and more contemporary (re: queer & POC-friendly), but this book actually broke down how birth chart astrology works more comprehensively than hers did.

The book provided a rough introduction in reading Birth Chart.
The content covered all the topics i.e. planets, sign, aspect, modality, element meaning.
Nonetheless, it lacked examples and exercise to help readers grasp the concept.
It's an okay as a astrology for beginner book. Yet, the outline lacked the way it could lead the reader to the end goal, You need more book to study more, in which, other entry-level books could cover the track better.

Though, The appendix at the back was quite helpful when you need a quick cheat sheet.
