A highly recommended book for those who love cannabis and Magick. Here is a book that combines the two. The first part of the book goes into the history of cannabis and how it has been with us and promoted our development. Most of the research in this part was gleaned from the work of Chris Bennet, who has written extensively about the history of cannabis. Indeed it has. Spread by the Scythians who used it in their funeral rites its use has spread through out the centuries through Greek Roman times to the present. There is also a nice section on recipes. Just a few as it is not a cookbook. The book delves into meditation practices, ceremonial Magick rituals, breathing exercises you name it. Excellent book for beginning Magick users who may or may not have been long time cannabis users. Some of the meditating includes mindfulness meditation , zen breathing where you focus on just your breath mantra meditation and a few others. The author has also included some ceremonial Magick rituals that have been modified and made somewhat easier to follow from old Zoroastrianism. Included are rituals to charge talimsmans connect with your answers. A nice paradigm in the building there is also some NLP concepts thrown in. If you wish to explore cannabis from a pagan perspective then this book is for you and a great starting point at that.
Mixed feelings. I love the connection of science and magic and will use some aspects of this book However the book references the golden dawn a known white supremacy/hate group and appropriates Judaism. Read with caution
an absolute gem, a comprehensive investigation into the uses of cannabis for personal transcendence, ritual, the propagation of a forward thinking society with creative solutions to struggle, etc. this book allows so many of my passions- cannabis, magic, witchcraft, neuroscience, cannabis justice, etc.- to intersect in ways that I had not previously thought possible. I love the rituals outlined by the book & cannot wait to work through all of them! as someone who majored in neuroscience in college, this book has been an abundant jumping point for me to further look into the science referenced & it has provided a lot of direction for my academic interests in my eventual pursuit of grad school. this book has so much to offer, and I see myself referencing it very frequently. bravo!

I liked the parts showing possible translation errors in the bible, and that calamus should maybe be cannabis. I'm not sure I'm gonna do any of the practices in my book over the ones I already like though
The information is basic but this leaves room for the reader to be creative with their own ritual practices (which one is likely to indulge in as this book is quite an incentive).
Well cited with historical, scientific, and reliable occult sources. Has good information but was a bit dry at times as well as some of the knowledge was experimental and I’m not sure it would be the best for some people.
A good book for beginners that want to combine cannabis use with spirituality, or learn more about the history of cannabis use in spiritual practices. Not much new info for people that are more experienced though.
