The only way I got through the second half was imagining everything Alice said was read by Danny DeVito.

I’m reading this series with my ten-year-old, and we’re really enjoying it. I found book 2 moved at a faster pace.

I was anxiously awaiting the next chapter of this story and was not disappointed. Rommey is a worthy adversary for Peter Pan. As the daughter of Captain Hook, you would expect Rommey to be somewhat jaded but she wants to do the right thing and hopefully, get her father back in her life. You find out why Captain Hook is chasing Pan and why Peter Pan must be stopped. My grandson is only 5 but I'm putting these books on his shelf.

Pan's Secret is a book of twisting and turning for a young girl, Rommy, who just wanted to spend time with her father, Captain Hook. Yes, THE Captain Hook!
This is an adventure book with puzzling relationships, questions of loyalty, and lots of courage. With the "Nixie" humor this book makes it a perfect read for any youngster in your life.

Pan's Secret is the second book in The Pirate Princess Chronicles by R.V. Bowman.
Rommy Cavendish hasn't been the same since she discovered Hook to be her father. And she'll do everything she can to discover the truth about the island and the people on it. With Hook always looking for opportunities to get revenge on Pan, and Pan still looking for a way to take out Rommy and her father, Rommy and her friends have to hurry to discover the secrets Neverland has been hiding. Even if it means death.
This story is filled with close calls and nail biting twists. Finn has grown to be one of my favorites, despite his traitorous behavior in the first book.
I really love the spin on Peter Pan and the famous island of Neverland, and can't wait to continue the series with the next book. I would definitely recommend this series for middle school or older elementary students who love fantasy, adventure, and mystery.

Adventure!

This story was full of adventure! Rommy finally finds out why her father is obsessed with Pan, but she wished he'd let it go. Mostly because he seemed to place his revenge against Pan before all else, including her.
Together with Finn, Alice, Little Owl, Balo, Nissa and Lobo they form a plan to stop Pan and sever the tie between Neverland and other worlds.
Will she be able to do it? With Tiger Lily trying to kill her, Pan aquiring a hostage, snakelike plants, Nixies and other dangers it begins to seem impossible, but they dont give up.
They manage their quest through the jungle and now have a goal to find Tinker Bell!
This makes me excited for book 3 🤭
Fun adventure and can't wait to see how it all pans out 😁

I am loving this series and anxious to see where it leads. It feels like the further I get into Neverland, the further in I find myself asking if I’m like Hook, Pan, or *hopefully* like Rommy and her friends who haven’t lost sight of what it takes to care for those they love. The characters are alive and vibrant, the details mesmerizing, the chapters short and fast-paced. Can’t wait to read the conclusion!

It wasn’t as good as the first book. At times very slow moving; repetitive; numerous grammar and sentence structure errors in my Kindle edition (however, I understand it’s a self published book so might see more of that); and just an “alright” plot. Not the worse book I’ve read, but certainly not the greatest. So many times the second book in a trilogy is like this though. But, onto book 3 to finish the trilogy.

I really really loved this book it is very sad and mind twisting. I still hate pan hooks is just trying avenge his son. Pan is just a flat out a annoying jerk. I loved the story and how Rommy and finn are just so close to each other in this book I bet they get even closer in the next book. I would definitely recommend this chronicles to those fantasy lovers or Peter pan lovers

I been reading this story to my child and we have really enjoyed them together! I like the difference and the fun adventures they go on. we also read the first book together has well. Also that pan is more of a bad character then hook. Because pan is kidnapping children and bring them to Neverland. The part were Rommy talks with the tree is pretty interesting.

Page turner

Loved this story great sequel can't wait to read the next book! This book definitely had less typos than the first book, but there were still quite a few. Loved characters especially talking wolf. We're rooting for you Rommy!

I can’t figure out why these aren’t published by a publishing house yet. They are great novels, especially for pre-teens.

Great content and even more creative liberties on the Pan backstory and past the Darling children saga.

Eh. Not as good as the first one. Will absolutely finish the trilogy because I want to see how things play out, but not in a rush to do it any time soon.

Better than the first one. Pan is annoying, but I did like how we got more backstory. I think if you really like Peter Pan this is a more engaging read, but it has just left me feeling...... meh.

So I read a review early and it said that there was typing mess ups. There was was some. But it was not enough and bad enough to give it a 4 star.
The book was very good. I would advice reading the first book first or the story would make no sense.
The book is rather short compared to others I have read. Its just under 200 pages.
This book was not as good as the first one... but that's always the case.
It feels pretty bad that Peter Pan is the villain and I will never look at the movie the same way.

To sum up...
Great book!
There's not much to add we you say something nice.
