Lexa
These feelings I have for Ben can’t go anywhere.
I’m the Angels Halo MC president’s daughter.
And he is the sheriff.

For both our sakes, I have to keep him away.

Ben
Lexa calms the rage that I’ve struggled with my entire life.
I couldn’t care less who her father is.
Nothing matters but making her mine.

Because my broken beauty is where my salvation begins.

Salvation was the first book in the Angel’s Halo Next Gen series by Terri Anne Browning. I read the prelude to Salvation in the Love, Loyalty and Mayhem Anthology, where the profits went to Bikers Against Bullies. It was a worthy cause and a steamy teaser that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Salvation. I wasn’t disappointed.

Lexa was the MC Princess. The daughter to Bash and Raven, Angel’s Halo book one. She was strong, feisty and a worthy heroine.

Ben was the new interim Sheriff. The law didn’t mix with the MC so Ben was off limits to Lexa. But someone needed to tell Ben because he was all alpha and determined that Lexa was his regardless of anyone’s father, uncle or siblings.

Salvation was told with a double POV but it was primarily Lexa’s with Ben’s mixed throughout. I loved both characters. The plot had an emotional and suspenseful theme and I was intrigued. It kept the pages turning quickly. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

First time author read

This is my first book from this author and I loved it! I can't wait to read more of this series and maybe go back and read about Lexa's parents and aunts and uncles who are in the Angels Halo MC.

What to say... Better than the first generation as there's only the POVs of the h and H, but again we have the dreaded teenage virgin with a thirty year old man. The h Lexa is the daughter of Bash from a hookup that Raven later adopted. Lexa is less harsh than Raven but she's TDTL with the dreaded BBS. The H Ben is the new sheriff.So we had the I can't be with you because you're the law and I'm bad. Eye roll. So everyone says there's no cheating because they're not officially together, but I kind of disagree. For me if the H is heavily pursuing the h with touches and kisses and saying I want to be with you and then kisses another woman it's cheating for me. Don't care if you're official or not. Especially since we're in his head and he's saying how he can't live without her and blah, blah, blah. He didn't even apologize really either. I wish Lexa would have held him off a little more, but alas she was 19 and immature. Which I'm thinking this author really loves. Which if I'm honest a 30 year old man going after a 19 year old is kinda cringe for me. Especially as Ben was in the military and a war veteran. Realistically not many of those guys are going for teens. 🥴 I do like age gap, but I prefer my heriones to at least be 25 and older. Just my preference. As far as the story goes it's similar to the first series minus other's POVs thank goodness. Though the intimate seems are all recycled and exactly the same. It's boring and repetitive. Any kind of angst that could have a risen was squashed out unfortunately which was no fun 🙄. I know there was a kiss between him and ow, but it was shut down because of the h's BBS and then just passed on 🤷.

So... I was a little disappointed in this book..

Ben is the town sheriff but let’s just say his moral compass is a little grey. While I understand why he does what he does, Lexa (in my opinion) deserved someone better.

For me, Ben was a little too off the handles at times. He needed to back up a minute and reevaluate the situation. Which sucked because I really liked him in the prequel.

Lexa is a bit forgettable. She fades into the background at points and is honestly too much of a push over! For heavens sakes, she grew up with Raven as a mom! But sadly she has the personality to please others and not do it for her self. Her relationship with Ben annoyed me because more than the others she just gave in instantly.

For me, this story was rushed and not as good as I’ve come to love from Terri! But I’m still looking forward to the future series!

“Stop it. I don’t give a damn about this scar. It doesn’t make you less beautiful to me, Lexa. It doesn’t make me want you any less. I don’t care about it or your father or anyone else in this goddamn world. I just want you to be mine.”

There was a straight view from the living room back into the kitchen. He was leaning against the counter, but he didn’t see me. How could he when he had Paige wrapped around him, kissing him. Her long blond hair curled down her back, his fingers tangling in the locks as they bit into her sides. I could feel the tension in the air from where I was standing on trembling legs.

He’d kissed me like that the first night I met him. Savagely, like he couldn’t get enough of my taste. And now he was tearing my heart from my chest.

It felt like you were just dropped into de middle of a story. How Lexa and Ben met was glossed over until the epilogue. Then their relationship felt kind of superficial as they never had deep conversation that would make it grow. It was all about Lexa letting her insecurities rule and pull away from Ben and him running after her. He also kept refering to his rage and how she brought him peace but it was never explained why he felt rage. This was a very frustrating book for me because of this. Which is a bummer as it really had potential for greatness as Ben had all the qualities of a swoon worthy hero. I just felt that he deserved better. Lexa came off as cold and he needed someone warm.

The story was promising. I loved how possessive Ben was about Lexa, his whole world was about her, but I didn't liked Lexa. I hate when h acts like damn yoyo. Lexa was a mess, where Ben was concerned. It was frustrating to see her say one thing and then do diffirently. Constantly. And that bullshit she pulled at the end... That's another thing I don't like, when h pulls it. I know h is scared and don't wanna anyone to be hurt, but her act doesn't solve anything. Nor H or her family would just accept it and do nothing.
And I don't feel Ben and Lexa relationship was solved. She never trusted him, for one reason or another, so I don't feel just saying 'I love you', or what happened at the end, solves anything. Not sure if I feel that way because I didn't felt Lexa and my feelings for her shadowed the story itself, or what.
Despite that, I'm waiting for next book. There were a couple things, that made my imagination to run wild. Lol.

She’s his Salvation❣️

Lexa and Ben’s story is full of upheaval, action, suspense and best of all love😊

Ben is the new Sheriff in town, but the minute he meets Lexa, he knows she’s his😜 Unfortunately, Lexa is also the only daughter of the Prez of Angels Halo and well let’s just say poor Ben has his work cut out for him....😳

So nice to catch up with this family that feels like my own and to banter with them and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next one❤️

Good start to the Angels Halo Next Generation series!

This book was filled with action, bad-a**ery & steamy times. We got to revisit our old favorites (so happy to see Gracie & Hawk!) & were introduced to a new fiery couple, Ben & Lexa.

*****SLIGHT SPOILERS*****

Ben... He was sexy, brave & ALL Alpha-male. Admittedly, I was surprised with the insta-"I love you" confession but at least it (& his actions) showed how devoted he was to Lexa. I also get that all he wanted to do was to protect Lexa but going about it the way he did was so dumb. He really thought the Paige thing wouldn't matter? Puh-leez.

Lexa... Her "To hell with Ben Davis" moment was awesome. Loved her spunk, how protective she was of her family & I ADORED how she was a mini-me version of Raven. I do wish she wouldn't have been so wishy-washy at times but with a guy like Ben, I could see why it might be difficult to stick to her guns 24/7.

I ain't ashamed to admit that I still have a HUGE #girlcrush on Raven! She is easily the most bada** character in this saga & I LOVE her to pieces!! So, so thrilled that she conquered her illness. The strength she demonstrated & the support she received from friends & family was a beautiful thing to witness! :)

Excited to read more books in this series!

After reading the Angels Halo MC books, THREE times( I will probably re read them many more times), I was so excited to get my hands on the next generation- aka kid's books. Not only to know what happened to the OG characters, but to see what kind of trouble and mayhem did their kids create.
I was especially excited to read Lexa's story, since she was the most interesting biker kid of the group. Ah, but unfortunately, it was a let down.

The two 🌟 are for the OG characters return and their participation in this book, because the main protagonist- Lexa and Ben are just a weird paring, so awkward and without any sparks whatsoever. 😕

Lexa's "love story" was just bad. It had no depth, no back story, it felt super fake and very bizarre. She get back from college( so shes what 19?) on summer break and runs into the new Sheriff Ben, (who's 30 ish) and it was lust love at first sight....4 days later he is expressing his profound love and she's a confused kid with a sick mom, overprotective dad and a childhood trauma. Honestly the story that kept me reading this book, was when the OG characters appeared, like Raven battling cancer, was heart breaking, Gracie being a badass lawyer or Quinn taking over at Aggis... YAS girls!! 💜

Honestly, Lexa was annoying and Ben was overly possesive, with severe anger managment issues, man handling her and getting on better with her dad, then with her. She was treated like a kid that she was by him in most circumstances, but then when he was into her, it just felt weird and kind of gross.

The whole relationship could, or no SHOULD have been executed better. It would have been totally cute if it was written better, more realistically, with more time, better getting to know oneanother phase, with a legit back story, conversations, dates, and less BS drama. Just more authentic!
Lexa was robbed of a cute, real love story and that bothered me.

I don't know if I should continue with the other kids tales, maybe I'll give it another shot, but yeah after the amazing MC series, this is just disappointing.

As a huge fan of the Angels Halo MC, getting a next gen in this series was like all my dreams and wishes coming true and what better character to start with then the Princess of the MC. Lexi has always owned our hearts but bring in Sheriff Davis and you have two characters that grab hold of you and just don't let go. From the Prelude to this story that is featured in the Love, Loyalty and Mayhem Anthology Ben and Lexi have an instant attraction and connection that leaps write off the pages and lodges deep under your skin. Their story is action packed and at times will infuriate you as these two lack communication and let stubbornness stand in their way. Salvation gives the grit we crave from an MC romance and packs a punch when it comes to emotions, spirit and tenderness. As the MC family battle hard to protect the ones they love, Ben will ensure that nothing keeps him away from Lexi including the Princess herself. An absolutely outstanding way to start this new series off, where tears will flow, anger will rise and joy and togetherness will be experienced. As Ben and Lexi heat up the pages with their attraction it will be the familiarity of the characters that will bind with your heart.

This book contains Lexa Reid's story and we are introduced to Ben Davis. Lexa is home from college and is ready to help out anyway she can. She knows there is something going on with her family that they aren't telling her. the thing is she is keeping her own secrets. See she has met the new town sheriff and there is just something about him that has her going back for more. She knows though that the daughter of the MC president can never be with a law man no matter how much she might want him. Ben has heard about the Angles Halo MC in town but all of it has been good things. The people of Creswell Springs seem to think they are the ones doing all the good and others well not so much. Ben knows there is nothing he won't do to get close to the only woman who has touched him where no one else in his life ever has. He needs that and craves it more than his next breath. Will these two find a HEA or will who they are make that impossible?

Wowza what a story. This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will grab you from page one and not let go until the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

3.5 stars which shocks the hell out of me since this author is one I follow religiously and honestly I’m waiting for the day I get fired because I can’t stop reading her books when released (yes I’m reading at work) BUT sorry this one fell a little short. Not that I hated it.

Lexi is so back and forth my head was spinning, she lacks a confidence and maturity that I appreciate and expected from Ravens daughter. She forgave when she shouldn’t have and was weak when she should have been assertive. With Ben she was a mess but with her mom during the break-in she seemed confident and focused.

Ben was an idiot with that Paige bitch and sorry kissing another woman regardless of the reason is unforgivable.

I hope to read more about these 2 in future books and answer a few lingering questions this book created...

Ms. Browning does not disappoint. I read Lexa and Bens story without coming up for air because it was that good. In so many ways it was like coming home being reinserted into the Hannigan family. I loved how they were all there and their personalities were just as strong as ever. Lexa and Ben didn’t have it easy I felt like they took two steps forward and 10 steps back constantly but what I loved is that Ben didn’t give up. He reminded me so much of Bash when he was fighting to get Raven back. And Lexa, she is her mother’s daughter through and through. Her aunts had me cracking up throughout with their quick jabs and take no prisoners attitude. The best line in the whole thing was from Raven “and this is how the princess learns to become the queen” talk about the biggest shoes to follow!

Oooh forbidden romance, how I love thee! The next generation begins with a bang.

Lexa, even with all she has been through, has grown to be fierce and feisty. But she still has a heart and can get sensitive. Those insecurities did pop up a few times in the book. But it wasn’t overly done. It was written perfectly.

Ben was a true alpha male. He wanted Lexa and wasn’t going to let anyone, not even her, stand in the way of them being together. He refused to back down from her family and wouldn’t let her runaway. He constantly made sure to let them them all know that Lexa was his and he was here to stay.

It was great to read about the O.G characters and how they turned out. Im ready for the Next Gen. i think reading about who they are now and who they become is going to be interesting. Especially after reading Lexa and Bens story.

Lexa and Ben definitely have a rough road at the beginning. Being the MC President's daughter, Lexa, knows that a relationship with the Sheriff won't go over well. Add on top of that her mom has a serious issue that needs Lexa's attention as well. Ben, to his credit, didn't balk at any of the roadblocks thrown his way. He tried to get Lexa to admit her feelings but, as with any 19-year-old, Lexa was all over the place. I had an issue with her quickness to blame Ben for her immaturity. It did get a bit old and it seemed the whole town put gasoline on the fire with their gossip. I just wanted a bit more of them together after all of the drama died down. I am interested to see what happens next in this series.

I enjoy this authors books and loved the Angels Halo series. For me this book starts off confusing. Lexa is thinking about her night with Ben but as a reader you don't know what the heck is going on. It felt like the first chapter was missing or something.
I felt late to the game and confused as to what was going on. What was their back ground? What led up to what happened to them? Then as Ben is thinking about Lexa he puts a plan in action which totally makes him seem like he is using her and back with an ex. Then to top it off Lexa's mom is the one to come to her rescue, again.
This was a bit of a hit and miss but overall a nice quick read. Not up to par from previous books I have read but not bad.

Salvation...

Angels Halo MC Next Generation book 1. A new author and series for me. This was a fantastic read. Ben is the new sheriff. A total alpha in love with the MC princess. Lexa is the daughter of MC royalty. Raised by a badass mom and a Prez MC, Lexa is pretty kickass as well. As they fall for each other, they gotta battle rules put on them by others. However Ben being the alpha he is, will let nothing stand in his way of claiming Lexa as his. Now add some corrupt people, mobsters, and town gossip. You get a bunch of crazy angst, high drama and oh so tingle worthiness. I didn't read the first series, which is her parents, MC, uncles etc.... but I will cause it seems simply fascinating.

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
This story is about Raven and Bash's daughter Lexa. I listened to the audio book first and the male narrator almost ruined this for me, but I switched to the kindle edition and I love this story, I just wish I could give it five stars but narration brought down my enjoyment. I always wantedstrong Lexa to have happiness after everything she went through in her past. She has an amazing mother who is fighting her own battle, but she is still the strong alpha female and will do anything for her daughter. The story itself was a journey and Lexa faced so many challenges when she fell for Ben. Law and MC don't always mix. I loved the drama, the sass, the hot alpha men and the love of family.
This is part of a legacy series and I will say you probably need to read at least the first one of that before reading this. There is a lot of context missing in this story as how Ben and Lexa first met and how Lexa got her scar. I did read the first three books in the OG series but I don’t remember as it was a long time ago. We didn’t get any real relationship development between these two and it is an age gap. Normally I don’t really mind age gaps in my books but this one just weirded me out. She’s described as barely 19 and he’s around 30 and a sheriff so he really should not be with someone that young. All the stuff with his ex which took up a majority of the book was annoying as well. I did like the stuff with Lexa’s mom but overall it just was a miss for me.
Outstanding
Salvation kicked the new generation of Angel Halo MC off to an awesome start. Terri-Anne has done it again with her debut novel. This book was a page turner which left me reading late into the night. The delicate way she handled illness and heartbreak had my emotions wavering from ecstatic to devastated, a perfect balance which I have come to love and expect from one of Mrs Browning's books. This was everything and more, I can not wait to see what Terri-Anne has in store for the other kids of the Angel Halo MC. It's going to be one exciting ride if Salvation is anything to go by.
I did love this book and the series so far, but Lexi didn't feel right to me. I don't know the Lexi from the other books just came across different, like she would turn out to be strong like her step mum.
I'm not saying she's not a strong character but it didn't feel right. It felt like in a way that she thought everyone was staring and judging her by her scar. But it was more how she portrayed herself I think that mattered to me.
But I still love all the books and everything Terri Anne Browning writes :)
Loved it
Lexa is going to college away from home, she's the MC princess. Her father Bash is the president of Angels Halo MC. Ben is the towns new sheriff. Lexa and Ben meet when lexa is home for the summer. Ben doesn't know who her father is at first and when he finds out he doesn't care. Lexa on the other hand does cause the MC doesn't need the sheriff in their business. How long will lexa fight her feelings before she gives in? What will happen when her father finds out about the attraction? What will happen when danger comes after them? Will they get a HEA?
A definite 4.5
So the next generation are coming up and falling in love is inevitable. This is how Lexa Reid gets wooed by the new sheriff in town. There is family drama, they are outlaws after all, when they realise the potential pairing might be a set up. Then there is family drama of the danger kind when a blast from the past comes creeping back and finally drama as one of the originals face a medical crisis. Fab read but Lexa was a bit immature at times.
Good but not great
This is book one in the next generation series. This is Lexa (Bash & Raven) & Ben's story. We are introduced to Ben who happens to be the new sheriff in the county! The chemistry is hot from the beginning. What I will say is their story felt a lot like her parents and the forbidden love. There were also some unrealistic parts. That being said, I still enjoyed the book and look forward to the next book in the series and this authors writing
There was a bit too much back and forth
I enjoy these books, and this one was pretty good overall. Lexa was a bit annoying, eith her indecision. I liked Ben and thought he would never wade through all of the crap being thrown at him. I'm glad they finally were able to get it figured out. I really enjoyed the interaction with the rest of the family, the drama was good. The ending was also good.
