From Kharagpur to Ujjainias of Bhojpur to Cheros of Palamau to Khokhra Chieftaincy to Gidhaur, Darbhanga, Bettiah (Betia) and Hathwa estates, this books draws a interesting picture during Mughals and early British time. There are lessons on why estates revolted and why they even existed and most interesting is the thin correlation which an informed reader can draw from this book about the historic reference to contemporary ideas.
