Entwine

Rate this book
A hunky 18th century Scottish ghost.

A modern-day serial killer.

Three women whose sisterhood could save them, but only if they can accept who—and what—they are.

The tangled threads that entwine their fates leave little question: if the Universe gives you a gift, refuse it at your own risk.

As a child, Samantha Hamilton once helped ghosts move beyond Entwine, where the world of the dead overlaps that of the living. This gift felt more like a curse, but it forged a bond between her and Kate and Beth, two other girls with incredible powers of their own. But when Sam couldn’t see her parents’ ghosts after their car crash, she locked away her curse, shattering their sisterhood in the process.

Years later, Sam reluctantly agrees to go to Scotland to try to rid Kate’s B&B of a poltergeist. That night, Sam dreams of a gorgeous 18th century Scotsman requiring her assistance. But he’s not a dream. Lord Robert Grenning is her first ghost in seventeen years, and unlike any ghost she’s met before, she can touch him.

In Scotland, Kate teases Sam about “hunky, hunky Robert” who followed her to the B&B, which turns out to have been his family home. But Sam and Kate’s reunion falters when Beth, now a paranormal reality show star, shows up to help as well. The only thing Sam and Beth agree about anymore is protecting Kate, including shielding her from the true reason they can’t stand each other.

But there are darker things at work than a cantankerous poltergeist. The ghostly victims of a local serial killer demand an unbreakable Bargain for Sam to help stop their killer. And their red hair is only the first clue Kate is on the killer’s list.

To save the friend she’s already failed too many times—and to have any chance at love and a life with her unlikely soulmate—Sam will have to accept her gift and heal her bond with Kate and Beth, a sisterhood with the potential to be far more powerful than they ever could imagine…

BOOK REVIEW:- ENTWINE

AUTHOR:- TRACEY SHEARER

FORMAT:- EBOOK/PAPERBACK

MY READING:- 9.5/10

When you start reading the book you will get to know the themes of the story from the get go, as the author grabs the attention of the readers from the very beginning. The moment i started to read i got a feeling that i am very much familiar with the characters i know that's strange but it was one of those rarest occasions when you feel connected with the characters. This was just because the characters were well developed.

So the story is about love, ghosts, romance, murder, mystery, supernatural powers and a lot more. So you can expect a total entertainment from the book.
This book is tailor made for the readers who love to enjoy books which aren't monotonous and have more than one element on which they can divert their energies and focus. Its like allocating various ideas in a single story and connecting them all.

In the introductory chapter it self the book talks about ghost, which got my attention and didn't come to know when i turned 300 pages. The main characters of the book are Samantha , Kate and Beth. The book picked up pace when Sam was called by her friend Kate as she was experiencing some un natural situations ( existence of a ghost). The reason Sam was called is that she had helped a ghost in past, so she is supposed to be the right person for the task. You will have to read the book as the three friends take on the ghostly vibes. Also they will have to encounter many other things.
I am definitely not a spoiler so guys pick your copies and riffle through the book you will ultimately love your choice.

The very first thing i noticed was the book cover and literally i couldn't take my eyes off the book. The cover is just beautiful. I love the way it's presented.
The narration is great and the pace of the book is reader friendly.

I would highly recommend this book to paranormal romance lovers and to those who believe in ghosts and even if you are not one of these people i would still recommend you this book as it a complete entertainer.

Thankyou for the opportunity @traceylshearer
I would love to promote the second book aswell.

Samantha Hamilton, Kate and Beth are friends from childhood. All of them are blessed with special powers where Samantha's powers are unique because she can sense and talk to ghosts. After so many years of not using her powers, she was finally called up by Kate and Beth because they were trying to get rid of a ghost. Robert is the ghost and he's different from the other ghots Samantha has encountered. The readers will further witness the new bond between Sam and the ghost, the new murder mystery and the involvement of Robert in it and the childhood friendship of the three girls. A staggering page turner loaded with paranormal characters, paranormal romance, murder mystery and lot's of ghosts. Turn the pages to land among ghosts, powers and lot's of fun.

This is a top notch fiction, I picked this because of the presence of ghosts and supernatural powers. The book is full of actions, all the characters are well performing and the background is creatively developed. I was sincerely sticked with the storyline so I finished reading it in three days. A perfectly balanced story, the language is engaging. A big big appreciation to the author for this fantastic work. The cover of the book is absolutely fascinating.

I would recommend you all to read this engaging fantasy. A great pick for the people of all ages, a perfect one for the young adults, there is a lot of romance, lovemaking and ghosts presence. So, hurry up!! grab your copies now and don't forget to share it with your friends.

What an incredible novel. If you believe in ghosts and the paranormal or if you're fascinated by the concept of ghosts or the paranormal, then you'll enjoy this book.

Sam is called home to Scotland by her friend, Kate who needs help with her bed and breakfast. She's been experiencing poltergeist activity and she's hoping Sam can help her get rid of it. See, Sam (as well as Kate and their friend Beth) has special abilities. Sam can see, talk to, and help ghosts.

However, helping with the poltergeist isn't the only obstacles Sam, Kate, and Beth need to face. Sam is also "recruited" by Lord Robert Grenning to help him clear his name and his family name after he was executed in 1790. By the way, a steamy relationship develops between Sam (a human) and Robert (a ghost). How? Read and find out. Also, the girls need to find who the killer is in some recent murders. The victims? Young women who look exactly like Kate.

This story was well-written. The description throughout is vivid and I love how you get emotionally attached to the characters. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed reading this book. I laughed; I cried; I got frustrated at the characters and felt relieved when they were finally honest with themselves. It was really easy to become invested in the characters and I'm so glad it pans out the way it does. Great world-building, enough to make it immersive, but not complete, so you're still wanting to know more. The combination of many "standard genres" was refreshing and not too much.

My only regret is the number of swear words and steamy scenes mean I won't be letting my bookworm kids read this series. They were really hoping to read it, but are reluctantly content with my summary of the story.

This book has so much potential, but I cannot get through it unfortunately. I feel there needs to be MUCH more description of emotions- there is hardly anything that makes me feel. It is a very flat read. I felt like the first hookup scene came out of nowhere because I could not feel what they were feeling at all. The first scene also seemed misplaced in the storyline because of the very few interactions between the MCs beforehand. That's my main takeaway from this read, and I would definitely have continued if I could get more emotion out of this.

So good!!!! This is such a fun story. The characters and their abilities capture your attention right away. I cannot wait to read the second!! I hope we get to dig more into the daily lives of Sam and Beth too. The steamy scenes were a little too steamy for me, these scenes always make me so uncomfortable LOL but they were well written.

Such an amazing story! This book crosses several genres: mystery, romance, ghosts, and fantasy. Three friends, each with their own special gift, trying to solve a crime and a ghostly dilemma that are tied together all while trying to heal the past. Presented so beautifully. I can’t wait for Book Two!
