I received this book by the author and this is my honest opinion.
Well! This is my first book of this authors but I love a good paranormal read and this one was no exception it enthralled me in its grasp and didn't let up till the very end😍 This story was all about the intrigue and mystery and whether love can conquer vast craters. We have conflict between humans and shifters with a villian pulling the strings on his puppets for his own devious means. I loved how aiden and sirus grew there relationship from something that should of been doomed from the beginning but grew despite it. It was nice how good triumph evil in the end. A really good story with plenty of meat for you to get your teeth stuck into with a boat load of drama and heartwarming romance and whiched flowed just so nicely. Looking forward to more from this author.
This writing is just a bit too dry for me, and the book far too long to stick around to see if it improves.
Also, it’s mentioned that paranormals first stepped through the London portal 2000 years ago. That most humans are “ignorant of them and their abilities”. But that’s there’s been 2000 years of intermittent warfare. So, how it is your around 2000 years, have had fights for dominancy with humans and yet humans know nothing of paranormals… except for Aiden and his billionaire father?
Couldn't finish this one. Lots of plot holes and just not believable actions/thoughts. Aiden waffles between being aggressive and timid, both with his dad and Silas. Call me crazy, but someone who's a timid virgin nervous to have someone take their shirt off isn't going to all of the sudden be all aggressive in the shower. That's not how people work. Also, in the amount O read, it was never explained why Aiden and his family know about shifters when "most humans" don't. The dialogue between Daniel and Aiden was also cringey.
Wolf Hunted is the first book in the Blessed Shifters Trilogy by author CJ Vosse. This is my first time reading anything by this author and I am in love with this world they have created. This book is written in Dual Pov and it works really well in this story. Let’s you get into the minds of both characters and really adds another layer to the overall storyline. Aiden is at war with himself. He is very hard on himself and takes failure personally. I really wanted him to find someone to help him see he is a great person as he is. His dad does not help the self-esteem, he is mean and just puts so much pressure on Aiden. Sirus is a wolf. He has not had contact with humans. By choice. He is a loner. He doesn’t trust easily but he knows Aiden is his. I liked seeing him opening himself up to love. He is a character I will never get enough of. Lots of depth and layers to him. There are many layers going on in this story. It is a great start to a series cause I really want more. I want to know what happens next. This love story turns out to be so much more than either of these two characters ever expected and I am so glad I got to read it.
Wolf Hunted by CJ Vosse is the first book in the Shifters of the Great Wolf series. The story grabs your attention from the start with a well written plot and interesting characters. I like shifter origin story told and the truth of certain blessed characters and what it means. There is drama, betrayals, doubts, surprises... there is love, fated mates and heat. All good ingredients for a fantastic book/series. I am excited to see where this series goes.
I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
This is the first book in The Shifters of the Great Wolf Series. Wow this book was interesting and the writing was good. There were places in the story that were slow and needed a faster pace. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters intriguing. The characters were developed and thought out. Aidan is a human and Sirus is a wolf shifter and they are the MC’s of this book and mates. There were shifters, hunters, magic, bad guys, warlocks & witches, family drama, betrayal and so much more in this book. I can recommend this book as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
Awesome start to the series. Aidan and Sirus are a couple who grab you right from the start. I loved the dynamics between Shifter and Human and how these two worlds meet. Each of them have not only struggles to deal with but when it comes from those you once trusted it adds a deeper challenge. Don't want to say too much because of spoilers, unique plot and their connection leaves you wanting to read more and more. Can't wait for the next. I voluntarily reviewed an 'Advance Author’s Copy' of this book.
Fate brings Aidan and Sirus together but can a human and beast believe in their bond and trust each other?
Aidan and Sirus had a beautiful connection. Their mate bond shined despite, the hurdles and challenges they faced. My favourite part was when these two meet; Aidan was checking out the sexy white wolf including his huge member lol.
This book had it all; deceit, betrayal, love, mystery and suspense. A gripping story that’s well worth the read. It’s quite long so be prepared!
I enjoyed this first book in a new series. I especially enjoyed the attention paid to world building and all the different types of characters - witches, wizards, shifters, humans, and more. There is conflict, strife, familial obligations and duties, fated mates, betrayal, drama, angst, and love. How do you cope when your mate stands on the other side from you? Tough choices need to be made if love is to prevail. Great story and looking forward to more.
I received an ARC, and have voluntarily left this honest review.

This book was filled with intrigue, mystery, and drama. Each main character had their flaws. ..Sirus distrust of all humans, and Aidan seemed like most of the time that he wanted to stay with his father for fear of being disowned and left without the money, which led me to disliking him until about the last one-fourth of the book. But I loved the intrigue and the support characters.
This was one fantastic, fascinating, powerful, grab-you-by-the-feels, intense, smoldering, enthralling, gripping, and totally awesome tale. Filled with mystery, magic, madness, mayhem, witches, shifters, warlocks, betrayal, deceit, danger, bravery, loyalty, plots, counter plots, and more twists and turns than a roller coaster, it had me hooked from beginning to end, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
One of the very best shifter stories I have ever read. A rare romance that doesn't need sex as a crutch. This story has it's mobility in the plot, characters, and a greater story arc.
This was a wonderful introduction to this author for me. Aidan and Sirus have great chemistry. Both are struggling to fulfill family obligations and expectations. This book was fraught with danger and drama, and kept me engaged. I hope the rest of the series continues in this vein.
This is the first time I have read a book written by this author & will admit that I absolutely enjoyed reading this truly intriguing wolf shifter romance. It is the first book in the series “Shifters of the Great Wolf” & this series looks very promising. The story-line & plot is interesting & well-thought out & written. The characters are unique individuals who struggle with personal issues and acceptance as they continue to develop throughout the story-line. It is about: a human male (Aidan Millstone) is thrust into an unfamiliar world when he forced to hunt a wolf shifter (Sirus) only to discover that they are mates, Aiden’s father (Sebastian Millstone) is determined to exterminate the pack & the pack alpha (Calder) worries about his adopted son (Mason) who is just as determined to fight. There is: wolf shifters, fox shifters, bear shifters, hunters, warlocks, witches, portals, family issues, true mate bonds, traitors, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, mystery, magic, danger, threats, villains/enemies, deceit, betrayal, confrontations, disagreements, hatred, manipulations, blackmail, devious plans, verbal conflict, choices, memories, war, guns blazing, unexpected allies, romance, love & a wonderful ending. I really would recommend this book to people who like to read this genre.
