Thank you to the authors for providing me with the final book for the Deceptive Series for a fair review. It is great to be able to follow Liliana's journey to become the person that she is. It all began with a war: a war between the Dapprimas and Heinrichs, two mafia bosses who bent on killing each other off for money and power.

The story starts with Deceptive and followed by Fugitive, both featuring Liliana Dapprima's revelation, denial and then acceptance into life as daughter of a mafia. It has been a roller coaster ride of a journey, but finally I can see the beautiful and strong person Liliana has grown into. I am still happy that this is not a soppy, I- die- you- die romance, it would have been less than ideal.

In Inceptive, wedding bells a- ringing, and things are looking up for Liliana, ever since the death of her father, she had been blaming herself for being a selfish brat. I am glad that she had somewhat put things behind her and grow up, hearing her whinge in the first book and whinge some more in the second book was beginning to wear thin, so I am happy that in Inceptive she begins to become more like an adult and less like a spoiled brat.

You can see her growth by the bombshell that she received, you can't think that this is just a tying up kind of story right? So Liliana finds out a big secret in relation to herself, for a while I was afraid to face her screaming tantrums but I was treated with a more matured girl, able to handle any kind of news with calm (almost).

Who finally wins her hand? Lucas and Emilio has always been by her side since book 1, so if you want to find out you would have to read Inceptive.

Absolutely loved this series! Good clean love story, with just enough twists and turns to keep me turning the pages! My only complaint is that it ended! Really hope the authors write some more stories!
