Dirty Martini

Cheers to the best group of friends a woman could ask for.
Cheers to small apartments and even smaller...paychecks.
Cheers to a broken heart and healing it one dirty martini at a time.
Cheers to Happy Hour!

Sawyer Henderson was a Southern belle through and through with a bohemian side that made her father’s skin crawl. Becoming a wedding photographer was not in the plan for Sawyer's life - but it was her passion.

Refusing to follow in the family's footsteps, Sawyer became the black sheep - a title she relished. Her life was going exactly how she wanted it - with one tiny flaw. Sawyer found herself floundering in the sea of the awfulness that is dating in your thirties.

With a busy work schedule and lackluster romantic prospects, Sawyer feared she'd never find her Mr. Right. Until one debacle of a wedding turned her life upside down.

Dirty Martini by Kristin Hope Mazzola is an adorable standalone novella that is part of her Happy Hour Series.  How can you go wrong with drinks, gorgeous men and a group of supportive girlfriends that make everything all better?  With some quick-witted banter, the story moves along at a rapid pace but is still entertaining.  With a few surprises thrown in Dirty Martini will have you reaching for your own drink to cool off with.  5-stars for Dirty Martini by Kristin Hope Mazzola.

Sawyer Henderson was supposed to be a lawyer, that’s what her father was, and her brother and that is what she went to school to for.  Sawyer just didn’t feel the same passion in the law as she did in photography and so she started her own photo business. While meeting with a bride for an upcoming wedding Sawyer meets the bride’s brother, Trace Hastings and he leaves a lasting impression.  With the prodding of her girlfriends and the liquid courage of a few Dirty Martinis Sawyer just might find herself in the arms of the most wonderful man she’s ever met, now if they can just get through his sister’s wedding!

5 Dirty Martini Stars!!! OBSESSSED!!!! Love these books!!!

Where do I even start? I will say that I'm obsessed with these short little books, they are packed full of humor, heat, and passion! They are everything, you'll ever need in a book series. And this book is no different!! I loved the characters development and I loved the whole storyline, it was unique and so much fun. You'll find yourself getting lost in the story and in the characters... I dare you not too! This is definitely one of my favorite series to date!

5 beautiful stars!!

This is a stand alone novella and third book in “The Happy Hour” series.

This book was about Sawyer and Trace. Sawyer is a photographer who was meant to be a lawyer, if you talked to her parents. She was happy with her life but her family wasn’t. Trace is a CFO with tons of money but Southern roots, who could care less about money and titles. These two were brought together by one hell of a wedding couple.

I love these little short stories. The Happy Hour crew is like my favorite group of girls. I also love how there is no bs just happily ever after with a bunch of laughs thrown in.

This book had sexy men, romance, love at first sight, happiness, and tons of humor. This little novella is a definite read for your summer!!

**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**

This is the 3rd story in the Happy Hour series and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them all. Sawyer was meant to be a lawyer, just ask her parents. Since she’s decided to follow her passion and be a photographer instead, she’s had to deal with their disappointment at their weekly brunches. Not only does she have to deal with familial disappointment, she has to deal with the minefield that is dating in her 30’s. Trying to find a suitable man and deal with a disappointed family would be more than Sawyer could handle if it weren’t for her three besties and their weekly meet-ups.
One day while meeting a prospective client, she meets the client’s brother Trace, and boy do the sparks fly! Trace happens to be the perfect guy. He’s hot, and he’s also the CFO of a major company who also happens to already knows Sawyer’s father.
Ms. Mazzola has a way of writing that immediately sucks you into the story and keeps you involved until the very end. It doesn’t matter if it’s a rom-com such as this, or her MC series, the Unacceptables, the writing is so good that you’re in until the last page and wishing for more.

Such a cute and sweet Romance story to fall in love with! I enjoyed this short story about Sawyer, before I knew it, I was finished with the book! It has a little bit of everything from sweet Romance to making you laugh and cry happy tears!

Sawyer is a sweet girl, who is a wedding photographer. She doesn't want to follow her families footsteps and chooses to follow her dreams instead. She lands another big wedding gig and by luck she meets Trace, the brother of the bride. He's a successful CFO for a computer  software company. I Loved Trace' s character! He's a very swoonworthy guy and so so sweet and charming!

I can not say enough good things about this book! If you're looking for a short sweet Romance with some laughs, you won't be disappointed.

Sawyer was the black sheep of her family because she wouldn’t take her boards to get her law license. Her family was not impressed with her chosen profession of Professional Photographer. Sawyer loved her job and didn’t care what her family thought. Trace is the brother of the bride in a wedding she gets hired to photograph. A couple of meetings where he is the stand in for the groom has Sawyer interested. Can the wedding photographer get her happily every after.

This was my first book by Kristen Hope Mazzola and what a fun read. Sawyer girls were great and I am looking forward to learning their stories too. Dirty Martini is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. If you are looking for a quick, fun read grab Dirty Martini and enjoy.

Another quick read in the Happy Hour Series. Trace and Sawyer meet at a consultation for his sister's wedding, she is hoping to be hired to photograph the wedding. Sparks immediately fly and he volunteers to meet her the next morning. Things move rather quickly and they fall for eachother, but fate has a twist coming that just might blow the relationship up before it starts. His sister's wedding doesn't go quite as planned, and I hope we hear more about that situation in the next book. So far, I have really enjoyed reading about these friends and the relationships they find. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

Dirty Martini is a fun quick read. I love The Happy Hour series. Sawyer and Trace steam up the pages in this one. You will love them together. I mean how can you go wrong with a wedding photographer and the brother of the bride. I love the instant lust like relationship with this one. You all know love comes later right. Trace and Sawyer vibe so much from the start you can't help but to love them together. You will be giggling here and there in this one. Like the other books in the series you will just love them so much. I can't wait for more. If you haven't read any of the previous books you should do so because you are missing out on some amazing sexy romances.

5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review

I love Kristen Hope Mazzola. Her stories are great and they keep me entertained. Dirty Martini was no exception to that. I love Sawyer. Sawyer's life was supposed to lead her to law, but she follows her own path. Sawyer opens her own photography business. It through this career that she meets Trace. I love these two. They have amazing chemistry.

This book is short, sweet, and everything I was looking for from Kristen Hope Mazzola. I loved this story from start to finish. I can't wait to see what's to come next, but I loved this story. It might be hard to top!

Dirty Martini is book three in the happy hour series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in less than half an hour and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable.
Sawyer is a professional wedding photographer. When she meets a new client the last thing she expects is to fall for the clients brother.
The chemistry between Sawyer and Trace was clear to see and I loved them as a couple. They’re perfect for one another.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for Caroline’s story.

The Happy Hour series feels like a new beginning. I've read Mazzola in the past and although she writes powerful stories, her heroes tend to be darker and her heroines a tad bit needy. Dirty Martini let's the lighter side of love shine through. Mazzola proves she has a sense of humor. Sawyer and Trace have a laugh track right to my heart and take full advantage. Weaved within the laughter are important themes. Stories of friendship, empowerment and acceptance. Wisdom, heart and humor collide to storm their way into a heart.

Book Three Dirty Martini is my favorite so far in the Happy Hour Series!! Sawyer is delightful and her friends and hot boys she meets along the way entertaining. This short novella is an easy, yet fun book to read when you crave a little humour and a drink in your life. Sawyer is following her love of photography even though her family doesn't approve of her choices and that's why I love her so much. She is so full of life and her story makes me all happy in side. Great summer read for sure.

Great chemistry, a fun storyline and likable charaters are combined into a very entertaining novella. Sawyer and Trace deliver plenty of heat, heart and humor as this quick read romance unfolds. A tasty tidbit that I thought provided a welcome respite from daily life, served as a perfect palate cleanser or just an indulgent treat for when you need a mood lifter. This is my frank, freely posted review.

Another installment to this series and I loved it just as much. I gobbled up this fast read quickly. It's a book the can be read in one sitting, but it's satisfies you as a reader. I loved Trace! How he treats Sawyer and then his reaction to the twist, yup prime book boyfriend material. This packs the feels, but also the laughs. I also enjoyed the scenes with Sawyer and the girls. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Sawyer & Trace's romance is fun and entertaining, especially the wedding that was the catalyst for them meeting in the first place.

I love the closeness the group of girlfriends has. They clearly love and support each other, and know when to administer tough love and when to pull punches.

This is the first book I've read, but the series seems so entertaining, I'll have to play catch up!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

Dirty Martini

How could one not fall in love with Sawyer and Trace. They both refuse to live as their families dictate but are so good together. After their daughter is born the both profess their love for each other. Couldn't have asked for a better ending. Thank you and I hope it is well read!

This book is hard to rate - its a nice fast paced short read that has an interesting story and great characters - the problem is how it is written. It leaves a lot of gaps and unanswered questions. Things happen and then just cut off and it moves to something different. But still a nice short read with a touch of humor.

Loving this short series

Sawyer is a photographer and meets Trace the brother of the bride when going over wedding plans. They both are attracted to each other so why not right? When the wedding turns into a disaster will that mean the end or the beginning for these two?

Love this series

I’m loving this series! Sawyer seemed more prickly than her friends, but when your family disapproves of your life choices you’re bound to build walls. I love that Trace had the patience to help break them down and show her she’s loved for who she is!

I loved this short installment of the Happy Hour series by Kristen Hope Mazzola!

Sawyer went against her parents wishes and became a wedding photographer which she loves. When dealing with brides and grooms everyday, you wouldn't think you would meet mr. Right.

Trace is helping his sister with her wedding. What he wasn't expecting was Sawyer.

I absolutely loved Sawyer and Trace! I made the mistake of starting this book before bed. I desperately wanted to finish once I started but I couldn't keep my eyes open. I finished after I put my kids on the bus the following morning.
