Johanna Ingridsdottir, a Danish Special Forces officer, patrols the uninhabitable ice-locked interior of Greenland. She discovers three bodies encased in ice at Jakobshavn Glacier. The man, woman and half-grown child are remarkably well-preserved. Who are they? Aylina Tayu, a Goth polymath, discovers they have been in the ice for 75,000 years. Are they even human? That answer changes everything we know. A wide-ranging techno-thriller by the author of Pa’An and Sage of Sagittarius.
I thought this was a good read, especially after not having read any books in years. It was entertaining most of the time, however I did get a little lost in the middle of the story, only because It became a little difficult for me to follow the story line. I didn't realize right away that I was reading different scenes. Anyways, I recommend this book to anyone getting into reading short stories and loves sci fi ;)
This was a fun read with lots of easily comprehensible science in it. The short chapter structure is one I have never read before but I enjoyed the way it kept the story moving.
