A 1984 book which may have been very useful in its day. Nowadays we send e-mails and teleconference, and some strike deals over twitter. This is an American - Canadian book which may account for chapter titles like 'Lead your reader by the nose through complex communications'. Example letters seem lengthy and formal and wordy. Tactfully circuitous and positive persuasion are terms used. Somewhat confusingly we are given examples with many bottom line rules, when we'd think there would only be one - whatever that was.
Today business tends to be more upfront, accessible and a bit boastful. I recommend a newer book.
