Clear and concise instructions but I felt that it pandered to beginners who were desperate to begin their craft without thorough research. Hargrove dismisses the necessity of protection and further research, instead saying that you will learn more from practice. Even though I have limited knowledge in this field, it doesn't sit right with me and I would not be comfortable practising magick solely from this book.
However there is a list of demons and their specialties at the end of the book which was very useful and informative.

This book is a good addition to any occult library. Hargrove provides detailed listings of demonic powers and the respective sigils of the demons listed within. Another reviewer has already mentioned this point, but this makes the book an accessible reference point for determining which demonic entity you might wish to work with.

I will say, however, that his method seems to stifle the presence of the demonic entities you may wish to contact. When comparing this method with the likes of - say - Theodore Rose, a greater emphasis is placed on creating distance between the practitioner and the entity being called upon.

On that note I would like to afford my endorsement of one of the demonic entities listed within - that of Prince Seere. This is an expression of my public tribute as gratitude, and in return for the boon that I was given. I called upon Prince Seere when I was in need of an extremely important verdict. All things considered I was in a disadvantaged position, without much chance of succeeding and attaining the thing that I wanted - yet Prince Seere delivered. I am pleased to endorse Prince Seere and encourage all of you to make contact when in need of decisions in your favour.

This a great work the stream line approach is easy to learn I think if you start with this with the attention of growing or use this as a spell book technique spell work with daemons to an already established practice with rituals for veneration I think this could be most effective have used some of the spells in it and I've got some great results still I would learn about the demons that you're working with and at least give some offerings and gratitude some veneration although the mental images an elemental breath works pretty well I would still add your own things to it

So this book is incredibly straight forward and enjoyable to read. I used Orias to request something but I recognise that my request may not have been too clear. However, I did see very quick instant changes, though not as specific as i wanted but that is down to my desire specification maybe? Be precise with your intent and you may get farther than me.

I liked the way the author delivers the material.

I read another book about the Goetia demons but seemed a bit fluffy. This goes right to the point and the demons abilities I think were well explained.

In addition to laying out the hows and whys for a streamlined pathworking technique, Hargrove presents 72 brief summaries of each demon that will bring the practitioner into harmony with the spirit using the experience of their visualized five senses.

Makes it too scarily easy to summon a demon. It probably works, but I have utmost respect for spirits of all types, and would not summon one just to test it out. Information is invaluable, and it's a good idea to get this in print, not on Kindle.

Goetia Without Tears

I knew after the first few pages I was going to buy this book. I wasn't dissappointed. Its easy to read and easy to understand. Its perfect for me. Prince Orobos concurs.

This book is a bunch of hogwash. The author is pretentious, and the method described is basically just an edgy version of manifestation.

With that being said, I actually AM going to try to work my way through the pathworking to see if I get results. I have no confidence that I will, but if for some reason I do, I'll come back to this review and change the rating. For now, I'm going to say don't waste your time--This book isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Lo escribió sin duda un estadounidense con los valores consumistas estadounidenses: Las cosas rápidas, simplistas, sin dar nada a cambio, ni un poco de esfuerzo. Resaltando sobre todo el valor material. Escrito demasiado informalmente y sin profundizar en nada.
Lo positivo es que las imágenes que describe abajo de los sigilos son bastante ricas, aunque después contradiciendo lo que es el Pathworking dice que no hay problema si no puedes imaginarlas bien, que basta con leerlas.

straight forward

Makes it dangerously easy to summon a demonic entity.
I'm rating this 4 stars because it works and it does what it sets out to do - get you in contact with a Goetic demon with a simple and effective ritual. However, I feel it glosses over an important issue: protection. Quite simply, the author downplays or neglects to mention altogether how dangerous these entities can be. Extreme caution should be exercised before working with Goetic entities. Anybody who is concerned about their safety when working with demons is better off following the more complex Solomonic tradition instead of taking any shortcuts with this book.
