This one didn't work for me. It's a collection of short stories ranging from boys in high school to adult pastry chefs. I just found if very middle of the road and boring. Surprisingly, my favorite story was the one featuring high school boys. It was cute and I liked the characters. I would only recommend this if you like older BL stories. This one is a little tropey.
A sweet collection of short stories; ranging from school romance to inter-office relationships.
(Honey Colored Pancakes 1 & 2) There's the competent chef who holds the admiration of a sweet-toothed actor.
(For Love) Is the story of a man who has been in love with his friend for 10 years-after a misunderstanding he almost misses his chance at finally confessing his feelings. This one was my favorite of them all.
(Tomorrow Will Be Rosy) This one is a school romance in which a naive and shy seme is wondering how to go about demonstrating his love for his boyfriend.
(A Clever Man at Work) is the story of man that uses some smooth and cunning moves to catch his object of interest.
Finally there's (Candy Colored Day) This is an extra story with the MC of Honey Colored Pancakes.
An enjoyable collection of sweet short stories. I liked it, but they felt a bit too short at times. But I like the art, and it was silly clichéd fun - not much "nutritional value", like the title suggests, but sometimes you need something just like this, and you could do worse. Not a must read, but also not a waste of time.
I just really love sweet stories and I figured this would be sweet and I was entirely right! It took way too long to collect this collection of short stories but I won. It is now a resident of ever expanding collection.
The stories were too short for my liking, which also made them a bit rushed. The art wasn't all that great, I had a hard time with it 'cause I didn't find any of the guys handsome.
