Delivers the stories they don't want you to read, people who know how to fucking park on brink of extinction; fat kids to be chased to school by dogs; Vatican to build huge telescope in hunt for Jesus; UK threat level raised to 'Underpants'; free bank with every new mobile; and, Britain strikes gold in sport no one watches.
very topical in an era of falling standards of international polities; a collection of mock news stories from The Daily Mash, which is a necessary and excruciatingly funny take on modern British society; the terrible aspect of their work is that - even though deliberately ridiculous - many items could feasibly be true
I can see how this would be funny for a Middle Aged man but for me, it wasn’t overly funny or impressive. Anyways, wish I had context to some of the things I read
The most recent addition to my abandoned books shelf. Judging by the other ratings, I'm sure many other folks enjoy this sort of humour, but after a number of pages of barely getting more than a half-smile or a brief exhalation through my nose, I came to the conclusion that this just isn't my kind of humour.
Take this review with a grain of salt -- you may find the book hilarious, but if you find yourself slogging through the pages with barely a single laugh, it probably won't get any better.
