Bend the Rules: A Dad's Best Friend Novella

Rate this book
We've known each other all my life, but the chemistry between us is impossible to resist. The last person I expect to see while standing in the rain and wondering how I'm going to get home is Ben. My dad's best friend offers to give me a ride home. He ends up spending the night, which leads to a passionate evening spent in each other's arms. When my mother finds out, will our strong feelings be enough to overcome her objections? Or is our happily ever after over before it ever begins? This short and steamy story is second in a series of independent novellas!

This was probably my least favourite within the series, I still really liked the chemistry between the two characters and how they remembered times with her dad and his best friend. I however didn't like the mother within this story. I felt that the way she reacted about the news of her daughter and Ben was an over reaction and the reason for it was even worse. Other than that I think the story was good, I felt like the story was rushed and could of been flushed out and been better if the book had another 50 pages to go into more detail in what else happens within the story of these.
