“Transparent, Raw, Comedic, Edgy, Healing and Refreshing are just a few words to describe what you will experience when you open this book. My hope is that, as you journey through the seasons of my life, you unlock your own past hurts, abandonment issues, neglect, abuse, depression, anxiety, fear, insecurity and mental torture. The overall goal is for you to take hold of your own freedom, own it and walk in it, like only you can.”

A friend gave me this book, and the whole thing either made me cry, smile, or be hopeful. The last two pages made me cry tears of joy for the amount of personal growth that took place in the face of extreme adversity. I never considered myself to be the religious type, but I understand and support those whose lives are enriched and healed by having a relationship with God. This was one odd the most raw and beautiful books I've ever read. This story must have taken an unfathomable amount of courage to bring to the public eye.

OMG TALK ABOUT TOUCHING

Some amazing truth that i hope reaches others. I’ve realized that you never really know what someone is going through. I pray that your story can touch and help someone else find their voice. I love how you are standing to make a difference through your traumatic experiences. You are a strong woman!!!

Shalara Wells AUTHOR

Five stars because this was a hard read for me and and if even harder ordeal for the author. Although it is dark, I appreciate the authors ability to share the part of her life that was not pretty that it may help others open up and seek healing

This book was recommended to me by an instagram follower; I am so grateful I read it. She’s a black author from my state(Louisiana) So, i def had to support. But this book reveals so much about her life and to her transform through the book is what makes it gold.
