He was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni award for College Engineering from the University New Hampshire in 1976.

Kuo is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

I read this book a part of my Bachelors course on Linear Control Systems. It was prescribed as a text book but I used it more like a reference. I do not remember much about the contents of the book, but the course sure was fun.
