The book portrays the story of Varushka, a girl who just got her degree in engineering. Her dreams were filled with hopes and dreams of building up her career and progressing in life, however she was forced to choose between a life of her choice and her parents’ happiness. Her next decisions led her to marry someone who shared her aspirations and moved away to Amsterdam. Things take a toll and she is faced with problems and proximities beyond her control.
The story started off great, creating a bit of thrill in the reader’s mind. However, there was a swift turn that led things to become stereotypical and bottom-line obvious. All in all, a potential plot was led downhill with stereotyping, unnecessary melodrama and unexplained settings. To make things worse, the most crucial conversations seemed devoid of emotions and too simplified.
The ending hit the final score as it seemed rushed. The last chapter was beautiful, but then, again raised questions which were lazily rummaged through in the epilogue.
I would not recommend this book. It did have the potential but the story turned out as another one of those tales we’ve already heard a thousand times.

📖 Happily Married, Happily Divorced
🖋️ By Swati Kumari

💔
This portrays a typical Indian centric family thoughts. Varushka is the main hub of the story. She being a fresh graduate, is blessed with a good job and she dreams to live her life as to her desires. But, as usual their parents force her for marriage and she agrees to it meekly. But after she meets Mitash (her man-to-be), her life changes in a smashing way. They live happily. But, can we assure of the same happiness throughout our life!?😅😉 💔
Nah! They have something terrible and decide to part ways in complete acceptance. But, what's the thing which made them take this decision?🤔
💔
Does this means to be Happily Divorced? 😯 Ahhh......
Grab a copy of this, and immerse yourself into this book to find the main plot!
💔
To be a bit specific, the book cover is lovely and catchy. But the very title of the book, reveals the plot, which lacks the pull in story. The story drags. The rest is good👍

Bold and pedagogic

I bet most of the readers will have tears in their eye at some or the other point of the book. Its true that societal acceptance is major part of one's life in most parts of the world not just India. I like the boldness with which author has narated a very sensitive issue maturedly. I wish no girl in the world would have to go through such a pain and may every person have the courage to stand strong against doing something bad to others. Wouldn't that make our world the best place to live..? Really Appreciate Swati Kumari for penning down such a pedagogic story.
