As a curriculum developer, this book indeed adding a new perspective on designing curriculum apart from Gagne and Dick & Carey book. This book aims at developing overarching goal and objectives that take elements of education philosophy in writing goal. Moreover, this book has provided multiple curriculum model to opt for; (1) Olivia Model, (2)Tyler Model (3) Taba Model and ultimately Olivia model becomes my favourite as I finished reading this book. The author deeply discussed the curriculum evaluation which is part of the models presented.

So annoyed with this book that I found my good reads password that I haven’t used in years.
This book is NOT clear and does NOT explain concepts well. The author(s) spend entirely too much time telling the reader what curriculum ISN’T. The writing style reminds me of James Joyce—intentionally pompous and bloviating. It feels as through the editor said “we need more words!” and then added a frivolous amount. Additionally, the font is not reader friendly.

TLDR book is hard to read and learn from.
