Truly unbelievable story
Meet sister’s husband for the first time and within 24 hours having sex??? Not a believable story, nothing to tie you to characters. Waste of time reading.

Well let's start with the positives of this book. Hot love scenes. I guess that's about it lol I mean, don't get me wrong, it was a fun and short read, but not much depth to it and I wasn't really on board with the whole, sleeping with the brother-in-law plot. That was just a no for me, so I found myself hoping there would be a very good reason to legitimize this love story as I kept reading it. To be honest, it still wasn't a great reason once revealed and this couple didn't scream love at first sight to me as much as they screamed animal sexual attraction lol That's all they had. Can't even see how in the world they could be in love with each other cuz all they do is have sex. The author made a weak attempt to even give them a "date" that didn't involve sex but nah, this was just hot sex for these two, IMHO. 2.5 stars.

Katrina and Maxim were so dirty in th… Katrina and Maxim were so dirty in this it was hard to enjoy. Him knowing what the deal was didn't help because Katrina didn't and her being willing to do her blood that dirty sad. The little time they spent together wasn't even enough for them to get occupations out the way so to jump overboard with an affair... Okay I'd read the next one, hopefully the characters will have a cleaner start or not be in this type of situation, her falls for his stepmother or something. Okay just not my chosen topic to read about.

\Maxim is the first book that I have read by Coco Miller and I enjoyed it. Maxim is an interesting and entertaining story with a lot of inner dialogue and fighting your inner desires. The story centers around Katrina who is 22yo, lives in Boston working as a high school teacher. She is back at her family home in Maine for the summer to be with her mother and sister, Tasha, and her new brother-in-law, Maxim. It seems Katrina does not believe in love or happily ever after since she was dumped at prom for not sleeping with her boyfriend, her parents got divorced after 20+ years and her sister is also divorced from her first hubby, Jamal.
But add a hot hot Russian in the form of her new brother in-law and some steamy water activity and you get a lot of wetness. It seems Katrina and Maxim both have a hard time staying away from each other. But all is not what it seems with Maxim and Tasha so Katrina's head is going around and around.
I did enjoy this book but I did not agree with the premise that a sister gets it on with her sisters new husband. I know it happens but I just feels all sorts of wrong that women sleep with other women's partners (husbands, boyfriends, significant other or whatever you want to call them). But I was able to put that aside while I was reading this book it was a lot of fun with a really nice steaming side dish of naked sexy.

It was well written that was why I gave it 4 stars. But at the same time I was not happy because of the story line. I condone extramarital affairs! Katrina knew she was wrong for sleeping with her sister's husband but she did 4x. WTF! I don't care how good the "rod" is. Inexcusable!

Katrina hooks up with her sisters new “husband” and feels guilty about it even though they don’t really get along. Maxim knew the marriage wasn’t what it seemed but he never told Katrina the truth while she’s freaking out about it. He pursued her then backtracked and was on her a few hours later. I liked their chemistry but their situation was annoying.

Poorly written. Rushed. With a horrible heroine. The only thing I can say I liked was the cover. This had the building blocks of something decent but it was rushed, lacking detail and is repetitive. The story line is just not believable. The heroine is nasty, rude and bitchy about not just her sister but also her mother etc.
The problems start with the prologue! It was so long winded and annoying, we get it she doesn't believe in love! We don't need 3 pages (I'm reading on my phone) of rambling about it. And then it's all repeated again immediately in chapter one. I don't expect much from a smut novella but I do want to at least like the characters.

Wow!!
COCO MILLER WAS RIGHT!! It's not for everyone, if you get offended, don't pick up this book. I knew there was more to Maxim and Trisha, however, no matter the attraction, Katrina should walk away, go back to Boston... even if that caused mama's wrath. THAT WAS WRONG PERIOD!!! I don't want to understand the force of attraction, ... However,the sister's silent code should be stronger. Run if you have to.
The sexual scenes are RED HOT!!! DAYYYYMMMM!!

I didn’t love it. To be fair, I did start the series from book three however, they stand alone. Anyway, the author didn’t make me fully believe that the attraction between them was so strong that everything had to happen as quickly as it did. AND then continued throughout their time there. It was just too quick for me.

This book is really good. Katrina is sworn off of love as love hurts too much and she does not want or need to feel that pain. Her sister has just gotten married for the second time and it all seems very rushed and the groom is not at all her sister's type. So Katrina joins her family for a get together holiday to break the ice and meet her new in law. For Katrina the unthinkable happens and she fines herself falling for her 'forbidden' brother in law, Maxim. Maxim is also attracted to his sister in law and finds that he too now wishes he had met Katrina first. Can these two work out a happy ever after or will their attraction lead to the ruin of very fragile family relationships?

What... Such a cute one...
Man, this is my first time reading this customer and it was super cute... Albeit confusing at the beginning but the banter and the talking that the heroine was doing with her self was so cute and funny.
Maxim, a beautiful alpha male, boss man and all needed to save his businesses and stay in America.
Katrina, a beautiful pessimistic lady didn't believe in a lot of things but she fell hard for her bother in law which she finally believed that this was very wrong...
Theses two came together and after all was said and done, they both had their HEA... It was simply cute, beautiful and uneventful with a lot of sexy times...

I disliked Katrina. I figured something was up with her sisters marriage to Maxim but Katrina didn’t know that so that makes her a nasty cheating whore. I am not as mad at Maxim for cheating with Katrina because he was the husband and sisters out trump dirty cheating husbands. She should have said no because technicalities don’t count when you don’t know that their technicalities. I finished it because I love coco but I hate cheating as well as books about cheating. I’ve read all three books in this series and I must say I didn’t enjoy the topics and it had nothing to do with the mob angle. This is the first series of Coco’s that I didn’t care for but again to each his own. Until next time y’all happy reading.

This book was ok. I thought it was lacking the Mafia element within this book. I like Maxim character but he came across very corny. I like Katrina's character but would you really over step the mark, by sleeping with your sisters husband. I just cant see it. I looked forward to the Mafia element with in the book, but there wasn't any thing you could call, mafia content. It was suggestive within the book but I also didn't get where Katrina's sister kept running off to. I just felt the storyline got a bit lost along the way. So it felt there was parts missing from the story. Look forward to reading more from Coco thou.

Ok this is a first for me by this author and was not sure I was really going to enjoy it, but I so totally did. This writing blew me away and the way the author wrote it was not in the least unappealing with the situation that you think will leave you wondering why! If you haven't read anything by her before this is your opportunity because she will blow you away to. Wonderfully written with all the heat you can imagine.

This was not what I expected. I expected danger, explosive love scenes, mafia madness. Instead I received a sister who cheated with her sisters husband, a lackluster Russian mob boss who did not act like one at all, a mom who basically threatened her daughter to stay and meet her sisters husband even though she thought about leaving several times, a sister duo who had zero interactions with each other and the list goes on and on. I had better hope that this would be a great romance but it fell short, really short and I found myself speeding through the book.

I loved this! It was fast paced but so good. Perfect for when wanting to read something fast and hot.
Katrina was a tad bit annoying whenever she would say and decide on walking away but always doing the opposite. But I get it because that is what happens in real life so I let it slide. This was a fun and sexy read.

A Challenging Affair
This story had spin an interesting tale about forbidden love that questioned family ethics, but to find out technically that vows were not broken, but then again, Katrina did not know this at the start of the affair with Maxim. Well told and so glad it worked out that they were able to end up together.

Not your typical romantic read. I would call it a taboo romantic comedy. Because seriously girlfriend ( the heroine) was hella (extremely) funny.

Doesn't even date a "Meh"
Not a thing in this was Maria or Heard a related. Should have just be called How to be Trifling and Skankish! This was just a bunch of met sister's husband, screwed each other as much as possible. Really disappointed in this one. I liked the first two.

Quirky Twist on Russian Love
I really enjoyed this short story. The twist with the hunk married to our characters sister spices up the drama and the inappropriate taboo sex. The brooding Russian has it all, and the character is well written. Can't wait to read seirgei

Katrina goes home to visit her mom and sister. While there, she meets her new brother in law and sparks fly. Will either of them be able to deny this attraction? Steamy chemistry, great characters and an entertaining mafia romance. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!
