I received an ARC of the Kindle version of this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. I struggled to get to the 25% mark. It was disjointed and poorly written - almost like Landers isn’t familiar with the English language. Or human interactions.
A couple pages before I stopped reading, there is a line that says, “She looked at life through funhouse mirrors.” That is a pretty accurate description of this book and the experience of reading it - except this story is less fun and more distorted.
