Her new venture is beginning to succeed but she’s fallen in love with her Amish business partner. He loves her but his community has other plans for him. Can they find a simple way to make love work in a complex world?
Alisha moved to Hope Springs a year ago with the goal of starting a B&B but life took a quick detour when she met Jacob, an attractive and devout Amish farmer. Together they started an unorthodox business venture: the growing of legalized medical cannabis to aid ill hospital patients. The company has finally started to blossom but so have Alisha’s feeling for Jacob.

Jacob has devoted his entire life to his community, always placing the concerns of others over those of himself. A forward-thinker, he overcame objections from the community to switch to the medical crop, and in Alisha he’s found not only a business partner that’s helped the community finally thrive but a glimpse of what happiness actually is.

But when Alisha receives a once-in-a-lifetime business offer, and the community informs Jacob he must finally settle down and marry an Amish woman, the two realize that something must change. Can Alisha and Jacob find love's fertile soil, or will strict guidelines force them into stony ground?

Crossroads is the final book in the acclaimed Stranger in the Fields Amish romance series. If you like sweet tales of attraction, engaging twists and turns, and culture clashes, then you'll love M.K. Lansbury's enchanting conclusion to this romance story.

The final part.
This has been a nice gentle slow build romance. It’s an Amish story so it’s completely clean. But it’s been fun for a change. Although Alisha did annoy me at times.

I’m being picky I know I can’t help myself but is it just me?
Would a twelve year old say this...

She sighed. “Listen,” she said, “I know this isn’t any of my business but I’ve learned not to put things off. Mom kept putting off going to Italy till I went to college but look how that panned out. We never know how much time we have so spending it on telling yourself how impossible something is and not doing anything about it is the most useless waste of our lives.”

I will not summarize this story because it is already given in the description of this book. The purpose of this review is to give potential readers information to make an informed decision about reading this story.

What I liked:
• Storyline. I love an Amish story. This story was so different from the other Amish stories I have read. I liked the uniqueness.
• The love between Alisha and Jacob developed naturally across the series.
• The pacing was good.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done and easy to visualize.
• It was a clean read. I really appreciate that in a book.

I really enjoyed this concluding book of the series. The editing was pretty clean.

I recommend this story to readers who enjoy a clean Amish story. I received an ARC of this story from the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own.

This is the first book in this series that I have read. It was a wonderful reading experience. A very sweet romance between and Englisher woman and an Amish man. Will need to go back and read the first three novels to see the parts of the story I missed. Loved the portrayal of the Amish ways. It is very clear that the author has knowledge of how the communities operate and thrives. Highly recommend this book to all readers.

Medical marijuana and CBD are major headlines as to legality and this book helps support the good they do. Alisha and Jacob are business partners in growing Blossom, a proven marijuana plant, who have feelings for each other but they come from different worlds. Jacob is Amish and chosen to lead his people when the current pastor passes and Alisha is "English" Can they overcome the difficulties this could present? You don't want to miss this one!

I really like how the end to this series turned out. This is a different take on an Amish situation but the whole series is really good. I've enjoyed all the books. I received an ARC. This is my honest, voluntary opinion.

Wonderful, thoughtful read. Alisha and Jacob we're well written and I read it in one sitting. The story weaves a thoughtful and reflective tale of opposites attractive to each other. Read the book yourself to know the ending. A voluntary review of this book given by me.
