The joker escapes jail to do some detective work of his own, going from door to door searching for holiday.
It was a pleasant surprise i didn't expect the joker to grace these pages.
And holiday gets a new victim...

Another fantastic issue on the Long Halloween series. These are interesting, so far I’ve really enjoyed every other issue just a little more than the last. They are all so good though!

In this one, it’s Christmas! Joker plays a heavy part in this issue. He’s not happy that there’s all this crime distracting Batman and the mysterious Holiday getting all the attention in his City. So he does his Joker thing and goes around terrorising the citizens of Gotham, breaking into peoples homes and stealing their Christmas’, a-la Grinch.

Meanwhile, Holiday strikes again… who are they? Stay tuned to find out - we got a while to go yet!

2024 - Year of The Bat (366 Days of Batman)

Day 115: 3.5⭐️ Fun, especially with the Joker playing detective, and not doing any better than Batman, but not a lot of story with another letdown of a victim.

Another Holiday in Gotham. Batman and Gordon see The Calendar Man, Julian Day, but find little help. Meanwhile The Joker starts looking for Holiday as well, and threatens all of Gotham until they’re found

"Then... WHO is Holiday?"

The Joker, The Bat and confusion all around. Love the art and the mystery surrounding Holiday.

What a surprise! I didn't realize the next issue of this series was Christmas. Fancy that, I read it on Christmas morning!

This issue cops plenty from Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. Fun stuff right there.

I might be missing something from my reading. The newspapers report on crime in Gotham. Because the crime sprees have happened on Halloween and Thanksgiving, the newspapers attribute the crimes to someone named Holiday. Joker appears to be bothered by that and threatens Dent, Maroni, and Falcone about being Holiday. But isn't it Joker who is Holiday. And if so, why the threats. Confused on that.

The art is very good in this one. I love evil Joker.

Batman is introspective, somewhat feeling as though Gotham is attracting the weidos because he is there. Gordon hints at that.

We get a glympse of Arkham Asylum and meet Calendar Man, a complete whack job!

Harvey Dent is having a really bad time.

Not so much happens in this issue except from introducing a manic Joker, who seems very keen to find the serial killer now dubbed 'Holiday'.

Again, the artwork is wonderful. The panel where Batman drops onto the back of the car to confront the hoodlums is epic.

I think it's pretty safe to say, expectations are being met. 😆

oh joker you silly billy you. this was a fun and interesting issue. it was fast paced, well illustrated, but i’m more interested in the holiday plot than i am interested in joker. i really like this so far, and this one was good, but definitely my least favorite so far.
