A god was suddenly prostrating in front of Kayano Takumi. He was apparently killed by mistake. Moreover, he can’t be reborn again. However, he is able to live in a different world? Then, let’s do that, please. The god made a mistake again and transferred me into a dangerous forest. Seriously, what’s going on? Besides, there are children here. Love this series

I started watching the anime and wanted to start reading the manga. So, I started to read it backwards. I just adore Syl. He's the best. The kids are just too cute. Takumi is the best guy the kids could ask for.

Cute story.

I really like stories like this sometimes, when the MC can solve without much trouble anything that comes up.
This book is focused more on seeing new places, meeting new people, having new experiences, all while raising two adorable children.
It's also understandable why, having a God on his side helping along by giving him magic, powerful pets, money and everything else that the MC and the children might need on their journey...
Really this series is perfect for when one wants to rest from heavier reads.

Genre: adventure, magic, slice of life.
No romance (there was no love interest in this first book)
POV: multiple (though most of the story is from MC's pov)
Tropes: reincarnated in another world, raising children, dungeon exploration, magical world, meddling Gods, slice of life.
CW: mentions of slavery, mentions of past child abuse, monster hunting with sometimes explanations of monster processing.

I guess you could say I only decided to read this to reminisce and also to see some differences from the anime version, which was the first I watched before reading this. A lot of the scenes here were closer to what I've seen in the anime version. But of course, books contained more details that would never be seen in the anime. I still enjoyed reading this and now I can't wait to read the second volume.

Burn out, stress and the pandemic might be why I’ve been having such a hard time reading anything even though I want to. I’ve been trying to find reading with little to no angst that can relax me. This series fit the bill perfectly. I highly recommend it if you need to escape incredibly stressful reality and just relax. I can’t wait for the next part of the story!

Very like the anime

I’m loving this series so far. Not too far in, though this first book almost catches us up to the third episode of the anime. It’s just so cute, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
