Atlan Warlord Jorik guards the Coalition Fleet's Processing Center on Earth, protecting warriors and brides without mercy or distraction...until he sees Gabriela. She is everything the beast within him craves. Soft. Curved. Unafraid. He dreams of courting her properly, wooing her into accepting his beast's claim, and making her his—body and soul. Danger strikes and his beast takes control—resulting in his immediate removal from Earth. From Gabriela.

Gabriela fell in love with an alien Warlord who fought to save her life, then disappeared, only to learn he was later killed in a battle with the Hive. She moves on with her life as best she can, with one beautiful reminder of their time together. A baby.

When she learns Jorik isn't dead, but banished to the Colony, she and the baby are sent to find him. The problem? He's not just contaminated, he's been newly matched by the Interstellar Brides Program. And not to her.

The "Cyborg's Secret Baby" is an enjoyable fun sci-fi tale.
I've read a few of this series now and these stories are always good for a couple of hours of escapist fiction.
This wasn't my favourite of the series but It was still a positive experience.
This does what it says on the tin and though slightly predictable in places it really was an easy read.
This had action and intrigue aplenty and was hot and heavy throughout.
This one focuses on Atlan Warlord Jorik and Gabriela.
The pair do have an initial rocky road but they do get there, despite the many obstacles, in the end.
What I especially adored about this was that Gabriela wasn't your typical heroine being actually plus sized, I thought this was very refreshing.
If you like a more romantic read which is heavy on the bedroom action this one should tick your boxes nicely.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Cyborg's Secret Baby.

Not my favorite from this series!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💚
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 🙃😊😉
Narration: 🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The Hero: Jorik - he is an Atlan warlord who guards the coalition’s processing center on Earth. Being an Atlan warlord means that he has a beast inside him (like the Hulk), who only comes out in times of stress or arousal. When he first sees Gabriela, Jorik knows that she is his, and he starts courting her, going to her ice cream store.

The heroine: Gabreila - everyday on the way to Sweet Treats Ice Cream store where she worked, she walked past the Interstellar Brides processing center and saw warlord Jorik. She wasn’t frightened by Jorik and liked seeing him come to the shop. She gave him a new flavor of ice cream each time he came into the shop.

The Story: One day when only Jorik and Gabriela were at her ice cream shop, a man with a gun came in to rob the store and Jorik saved Gabriela when he turned into his beast and ripped the robber’s head from his body. Jorik immediately takes Gabriela to her home, and they hook up. One thing I didn’t like about this book was the fact that it lingered a bit longer than the others in this series about Gabriella being overweight. I really don’t want to hear about how heroine’s fat jiggles. I don’t mind if a heroine is a BBW, but I don’t like too much emphasis on it in a story.

Jorik got into trouble for not being able to control his beast and ripping the head off of the human robber. He was sent away to serve the rest of his time in the military, leaving Gabriela on Earth. Four weeks later, she was pregnant and found out that Jorik was removed from Earth due to the charges against him and he has since been listed as missing in action (captured by the Hive).

I won’t give away much more of the plot, but as you can guess, they end up seeing each other again. The story is interesting, and I liked that this one started on Earth which was different than any of the previous books in this series. These books are quite steamy, and I do like the fact that these Atlan warlords go into beast mode. They are pretty fascinating aliens, especially once they are corrupted with the hive technology, which made Jorik even stronger than he was before.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Honey Jones and Carey Hite. Carey has a very deep voice that works for a massive Atlan warrior. Honey has a soft, clear voice. Though neither of these are on my list of favorite narrators, they don’t really speak naturally, you can easily tell that they are reading, and it began to bother me more as the story went along. I have to admit though, I like the fact that this series is narrated by different narrators for each book.

I've read all the books of this series and the stories are always so interesting with suspense and action.
So this story begins on Earth, in Miami, where the Atlan Warlord Jorik is assigned to protect the military facility. Warlord Jorik watch a beautiful woman walk to work each day, in a near by ice-cream shop. After he saves her life, Gabriela feels a connection to him, but he is called back in the war to Hive very soon to know each other better. When Gabriela is trying to reach him, she is told that he’s presumed dead....
Gabriela and Jorik don't meet each other by the typical Interstellar Brides Mate way, so this meeting is different and usual and for that an even better romance story.

The Beasts Are Back!

Professionally written and extremely fast-paced, “Cyborg’s Secret Baby” features a slightly different story-line than the established Interstellar Brides novels, bypassing the bride matching program for a more traditional relationship approach. Taking place on Earth, at the Coalition Processing Center in Miami, the Atlan Warlord Jorik is assigned along with other human and alien warriors to protect the facility. Although similar to human males, the evident differences of the coalition alien warriors require their confinement to a small radius surrounding the facility to limit contact with the human populous who might be frightened by those differences.

Gabriela works and resides within this radius, passing the center daily on her walk to work at an ice-cream shop. Under the premise of trying each flavor the shop offers, Jorik pursues Gabriela finding her plus size figure perfectly enticing. During their final encounter at the shop, a life-threatening situation occurs placing Gabriela in grave danger. Jorik, along with his internal beast, react with typical Atlan conduct, eliminating the threat and transporting Gabriela to the safety of her home. Ensconced within the security of Gabriela’s apartment, the couple surrenders to their primal attraction, until Jorik is ordered back to the Processing Center and immediately exiled from Earth. A distraught Gabriela soon finds herself completely alone and pregnant with the alien’s baby.

With likeable characters, great world-building, plenty of action and suspense, the engaging story-line flows seamlessly until the very last page. However, some readers may find the narrative a bit predictable at times, others (like myself) may welcome the prescribed expectations within established story-lines. Characters from previous entries make appearances and support the narrative throughout. Emotionally gripping, especially for those invested in the series, “Cyborg’s Secret Baby” is a very entertaining sci-fi romance with a tantalizing touch of Ms. Goodwin’s trademark heat. Although the story-line sizzles, the overtly absent “bride testing dream environment” appears to reduce the uniquely erotic ambiance present in previous novels. “Cyborg’s Secret Baby” is presented from dual perspectives, contains no cheating and could be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading previous entries for total enjoyment.

Overall, “Cyborg’s Secret Baby” is a highly entertaining novel and an enjoyable addition to such a stellar series. Can’t wait for Wulf’s story… cause Atlanians do it best!

3.5 Smutty Alien Baby Stars quick reread because I’m in the middle of a G.G. cleanup/binge and remembered liking it. Maybe not a solid 4 ⭐ this time around, but good enough for a round up. This is very similar to **her mates secret baby, but IMO better.

** Random connections- Jorik and Wulf are captured by the Hive… this is how they both end up on Colony. (Seth, Fighting For Their Mate, saves them. Wulf’s book is Bachelor Beast. Little from Rezzer & Caroline, Her Cyborg Beast with Rezzer Jr. and Caroline Jr.

4 "alien baby" Stars
I'll admit it; I was hooked by the title. I LOVE alien babies almost as much as I love Greek tycoon babies. 😊 I like the Interstellar Brides series when I’m in the mood for some alien action for a couple of reasons. They’re fairly short; the “humans” voluntarily enter the program so they’re free of kidnapping with spank/rape/betraying body sexytime, and they’re "matched" so we have instant attraction/getting down to business. I only wish there were more on Scribd, or part of KU, because they’re kinda $$ for shorter books.

Cyborg's Secret Baby is the 7th book of the “Colony” series that follows the aliens that have been kidnapped/tortured by The Hive, and deemed too dangerous to return to their home planets. This one was a bit different in that the couple met on Earth, and Jorik chose and courted Gabriela. Also, there’s a small part with a crazy wanna be OW.

I sometimes complain a bit, because I hate when books make a big deal about the h’s being curvy, but this one’s not too bad. She has a few hang-ups after giving birth, but J puts her mind at ease straight away. Overall, fun easy read with an alien you can picture.

I WANTED HER TO BE MY SWEET TREAT

While this book is part of a series, it reads well as a stand-alone. The Interstellar Brides program was designed to match up mates from Earth to Alien on various planets. But, this story will start on Earth with various aliens working at the Interstellar Bride Processing Center, where brides are matched with aliens. Warlord Jorik will be working in Miami and will watch a beautiful woman walk to work each day. He even goes to the shop, Sweet Treats, and visits with her. While neither of them is in the IBP program, Jorik and his beast know that she is their mate. He is very protective of her.

“My apologies, Warlord, I didn’t realize she was yours.”

“Humanity had a lot to learn. Our females were revered. Respected. Treated with the utmost care and treasured for what they truly were—precious.”

The plot will have Jorik and Gabriela becoming friends as he visits the ice cream shop, and they chat. She will introduce him to new flavors of ice cream. But when there is an attempted robbery, he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe—even killing the criminal and taking Gabriela to her home. It doesn’t take long for these two to become intimate, and then he is called back to the faculty, and from there, everything changes.

Jorik is sent back to fight the Hive and will be captured along with several other Atlan warlords. When they escape it isn’t without complications, and they can’t return to Atlan, but instead, they will live with other Hive survivors.

“They’d captured a beast and made me a monster. I could never undo what they’d done to me. But I didn’t care. I was still Warlord Jorik of Atlan. My mind was my own, thank the gods. And this body they’d made for me? It was mine now, too.”

But his time from Earth will have alarming news for both Gabriela and him. She has a secret she never got to share with him, and then she is told he is dead. He believes she has married someone else when he contacts IBP. Is this the end of their happiness? Or will Warden Egara discover the truth and become involved? What is the protocol for a human-alien baby born on Earth?

“You are a gift, mate. And you are beautiful. Even more beautiful now than you were before. Every curve, every mark on your body is precious to me. I am not the same, either. We have been through much while apart. We are different, but we know each other.”

“She had taken a male lost in dark despair and given me hope. She’d been my key to survival, my drive, my fight, my dream as the Hive had tortured me. Every moment had been worth I, for it brought me here to her.”

Will Jorik and Gabriela have a second chance at happiness? Will the birth of their child be enough to unite them? Is there anything that can alter their chance of forever?

“You are mine, Jorik. We might not have been matched by a stupid computer, but we’re perfect for each other.”

“Mine. No one else’s. One look and I knew you belonged to me. Never will you be taken from me again. Never will we be apart. You are mine, and I am yours.”

The story shows that when two are meant to be, they know it and nothing can change what their bodies, hearts, and souls feel. The story is wrought with passion, separation, desire, and determination. While the birth of a child is a blessing and sacred, the love between an Atlan and his mate is forever.

Cyborg’s Secret Baby is the seventh book in the Interstellar Brides: The Colony series but reads well as a stand alone. Gabriela feels a connection to Atlan Warlord Jorik, especially after he saves her life. But when he’s called back to action and taken by the Hive, Gabriela is told he’s presumed dead. She has a secret, though, and is beyond grateful when a second chance with Jorik arises. But just as their future is shining bright, Jorik gets a matched bride! Could their love be true, or will Jorik fall for his match?

Wow, bring tissues, this book is amazing and a little heartbreaking at times, and I absolutely fell in love with Gabriela and Jorik! They have some amazing circumstances that they need to overcome before they can find their happily ever after, but I loved the message that they chose their love and were committed to each other completely! Gabriela was a strong character with some personal image issues, but I loved how she was fierce when it came to protecting her family. I fell in love with Jorik right from the very beginning with his continued insistence that Gabriela was his mate and he went through hell to get back to her! They were passionate, loving, tender, and amazingly sweet together, and I loved their entire romance! This series just keeps getting better and better and I loved this addition!

I feel like these books always leave me wanting, and this book made me realize: the guys in these books always seem more focused on sex and how good the female love interests make them feel (sexually), and they never seem to talk about why they like the women as actual people. Like, okay, yeah, you can find her drop dead gorgeous at first and that can be the sole focus of their interest in her at the beginning of the book, but it needs to shift as they get to know each other to liking her and parts of her personality and who she IS at the core of her being, and the males in these books never seem to do that. They are always focused on her sex and her curves and MINE, but why?? What about her MIND?! Where’s the I love you’s and the endearment towards certain parts of her and her quirks? So yeah, I guess the guys in these books leave me wanting because their relationships with their love interests just feel so shallow 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book is part of the Interstellar Bride series but it technically can be read as a stand alone novel. Personally, I recommend reading the books in order just because they are all very enjoyable sci-fi romances. If you've read any of the books in the series, you'll realize that Gabriela and Jorik don't meet one another the way typically Interstellar Brides meet their mates. However, I think their unusual meeting made for an even better fated romantic read! This story featured great world-building, plenty of steamy scenes, a hot alien, a plus sized heroine, and an adorable alien baby, all you need in a great sci-fi romance!

This was another amazing story. I love reading about the Interstellar Brides series. I can never get enough of the story. With each story, I never want it to end. I love reading anything by this author. I get swept into the action from the first page. The Colony is one of my favorite worlds.

Atlan Warlord Jorik has been working on Earth guarding the Processing Center. Everyday he watches a woman, Gabriela walk past on her way to her job, Ice Cream Shop. One day he saves Gabriela from a robbery. Gabriela likes Jorik a lot. They are separated for months due to some circumstances beyond their control. During that time, she carries his baby. He is happy to see her again and their child. When something happens, will they be able to get their happy ending?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

AVERAGELY SWEET BUT ALSO QUITE PREDICTABLE.

JORIK first saw GABRIELA when she was walking to work right across the street where he plays guard for the Interstellar Brides HQ back on Earth. That's the moment he decided she's his mate. Of course, one bad robbery gone wrong had him plucked off Earth and sent back out to war and then he goes M.I.A.. Gabriela found out that she's pregnant after their very hot one night stand, and to find out that the father of her baby may possibly be dead, she's devastated but pulls through for her son. 8 months later, she's a mother and Jorik returns alive, only to be misled that Gabriela has moved on with another man. When they finally come together again, it was all sunshine and rainbows, until a psycho bitch came into the picture and almost ruined everything.

OVERALL this was an easy to read insta-love and smut story.

MY NEW FAVORITE!!!
Title: Cyborg's Secret Baby
Series: Interstellar Brides - The Colony
Author: Grace Goodwin
Designation: Book 7 of Interstellar Brides: The Colony Sub-Series, Can Be Read As Standalone, No Cliffhanger, Short Novel (approx 175 pages) #sciencefiction #romance #alienhero #humanheroine #secretbaby
My Rating: Five Sexy Sci-Fi Stars****
*Cyborg's Secret Baby is the 7th release in The Colony Series, which is a subseries of Goodwin's Interstellar Brides Series. All of the books in the series feature one woman finding love with one (or more) sexy warriors, usually alien but sometimes human in multiple pairings. Each can be read as a standalone, but there is an underlying interconnected and overarching conflict with crossover characters that runs throughout the entire series, which is why this reviewer recommends reading the books sequentially. If you're a fan of erotic sci-fi romance, it's one decision you'll never regret, and it will most definitely enrich your reading experience.

I adore science fiction, completely smitten with hot, alpha aliens, and totally addicted to romance, so when I can get the perfect trifecta of all three, I'm in reader heaven! And Grace Goodwin delivers every single time! I found Goodwin's work a few years ago and have been hooked ever since. She's one of only five Sci-Fi Romance authors on my automatic buy list. When Goodwin has a new release, I never bother to read the blurb or reviews; I just one-click and dive in! I own all 15 books in her original Interstellar Brides Program Series, all 9 of Interstellar Brides: The Ascension Saga, all 7 of Interstellar Brides: The Colony, plus all 5 of the Interstellar Brides: The Virgins Series and, like all of her followers, await each new release with bated breath. (And this is only the count as of May 2019. By the time someone reads my review, it'll probably be even more. lol...) Yeah, I think it's safe to say I'm a fan, and I've never regretted a single purchase! But I digress, so let's talk about this book. Fans have been clamoring for more of The Colony series, as well as more stories featuring the Atlans, an alien race of warriors who transform into a beast alter form for battle. I should know since I'm a member of her fan group and only one of many doing the begging. lol... And one thing I can say about Goodwin, she listens to her readers. We ask and she delivers! Cyborg's Secret Baby was probably another of Goodwin's most highly anticipated books of the series, simply because it features an Atlan warrior and takes readers back to The Colony where we get to revisit quite a few of our favorite characters from previous stories, and Goodwin delivered in spades! There were so many things I enjoyed about Cyborg's Secret Baby; it's impossible to pick a favorite. It's fast-paced, easy to follow and, as always, well written with snappy dialogue, an intriguing storyarc, a heart-wrenching conflict, and a large cast of engaging characters. But before I continue, may I just say - Woohoo, our hero is an Atlan Warlord! I've been completely smitten with the Atlan Warlords since they were first introduced in the series and like my fellow fans, I've begged shamelessly for more Atlan Warlord stories. These guys are beasts, and I do mean that quite literally. They're already huge and all alpha, but they can transform into a much larger alter form when angry, in preparation for battle, or when protecting people they care about. It takes a very special woman to handle an Atlan, especially one modified with Hive technology which makes them even more dangerous! But Gabriela Silva from Earth was most definitely up for the challenge. And Jorik... sigh... What do I even say about Warlord Jorik? This guy was a mountain of a man, monstrous and scary but so sweet. And he and his beast were both in agreement - they wanted Gabriela and only Gabriela. *swoon* If you've ever read a Grace Goodwin story, then you already know nothing's ever easy for the hero and heroine. It's always a treacherous journey to find their happy ever after, but Goodwin really put Jorik and Gabriela through the wringer. OMG, I was sobbing, swearing, sweating bullets, and gasping for breath with my heart pounding in my chest! I thought I was going to have a heart attack! And I loved every single second! By the time I reached the final page, I was exhausted, totally wrung out, completely satisfied, and grinning like a loon. lol... I don't generally give spoilers, but I will say this...there's a lot of angst and a baby involved! Gotcha! lol...

So, did I like this book? Yes, very much! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adults. If you enjoy fast-paced, well-written science fiction brimming with action, adventure, danger, drama, engaging storyarcs, nail-biting conflicts, endearing characters, sexy heroes, sassy heroines, steamy passion, erotic sex scenes, and heartwarming romance, then this entire series is screaming your name. Will I read this author again? Abso-freakin-lutely! Just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I was glued to my seat, gasping for breath with a death grip on my ereader as the pages flew as quickly as the time! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! Well done, Grace Goodwin! Well done, indeed. And FYI, we, your fans, are still waiting for Warden Egara's story and not so patiently, I might add! lol...

If you are reading this series, along with all the spinoffs, in chronological order, I recommend reading this INBETWEEN books 15 & 16 of the interstellar bride series.

The Interstellar Brides series takes place at a time where aliens are real and there are several different planets and species. There is a galactic enemy known as the hive, which is a technological species that invades planets and either kills its inhabitants or transforms their captives into one of them. A coalition was formed between the planets who are at war with the hive. Each member of the coalition is required to supply soldiers and brides to the cause. Soldiers to fight the hive, and brides to repopulate the diminished that have fallen victim to the war. There is a neurological test that a bride takes to me matched to their perfect alien planet, then their perfect alien match on that planet, through a series of sexual desires that only our subconscious can answer for. Earth allows for volunteers to apply to the program, or grants female criminals the option to become a bride over a prison sentence. Those who volunteer are paid a healthy sum of money, and those who are prisoners are given clean slates. All applicants are required to give up their Earth citizenship to become a resident of their new chosen planet. A bride has 30 days to accept or reject their match. If they accept their claim, they are mated to their new alien husband for the rest of their lives where they are expected to make babies. If they reject their mate, they are assigned a new one on that same planet. Where they are still expected to make babies. Warden Egara makes continued appearances throughout the series as she is the one who processes the brides in the United States. The Colony Series takes place alongside the interstellar bride series, but focuses solely on the residents of the Colony. The colony houses veterans of war, tainted with Hive technology. They cannot return to their home worlds because of their cyborg hive tech, so they live the remainder of their lives on the colony. Brides can be matched to a soldier living on the colony as they can also test for the matchmaking system like everyone else. As the books progress, more brides specifically request the Colony instead of another coalition planet.

Written in first person, Cyborg’s Secret Baby is book 7 in this series and follows the human bride Gabriella Olivas Silva and her alien cyborg Warlord Jorik from the planet Atlan. This book takes place outside the interstellar bride program. Kinda. Jorik was a security guard for the interstellar coalition fleet stationed in Miami, Florida. Gabby was a woman who worked at an ice cream shop a couple blocks away. Jorik caught Gabbys scent one day and had stalked her to her ice cream shop every day since. Until one day, a thief decided to hold Gabby at gunpoint, trying to rob her of the money in the till while Jorick was enjoying the newest flavor of ice cream. Jorik took matters into his own hands, and wound up killing the man that threatened Gabby, before taking her back to her place and having his way with her. That one time was all it took for Gabby to get pregnant. Jorik wound up getting sent off planet immediately after returning back to the coalition fleet because of the murder that he committed, having no way to contact Gabby or bring her with him. Jorik was immediately put on assignment, which got him caught by the hive. Then, as fate would have it, as soon as he escaped, he contacted earth only to be told that Gabby had moved on and remarried. It was a lie. And part of a bigger plot for a crazy warden to make Jorik her own. Jorik was sent to live on the colony, where he was forced to test for a bride when Gabby gave birth solo thinking Jorik was dead. Thankfully, Warden Egara was paying attention. She came across the birthing announcement where Gabby gave birth to an Atlan sized baby and put two-and-two together. She hunted Gabby down, informed her that Jorik was alive, and sent them both to the colony. Now, you’d think that would be enough drama for the two, but alas, it is not. Because remember… Jorik tested for the bride program. Lo and behold, Warden Morda showed up on the colony as Jorik’s match. They get it figured out, Morda tries to kill Gabby so she can have Jorik and her son all to herself, but her plot gets ruined and she landed herself in a Prillion prison. Good riddance. Whew. 😅

This book had a lot going on for such few chapters, and it’s amazing how better communication could have saved so much heartache. I wasn’t a huge fan of Jorik’s character. He was too gullible and lost his head too easily. I LOVE that Grace made Gabby a bigger girl with love rolls. And Jorik didn’t give two shits. *sigh* If only. 🫶🏻

Atlans are humanoid. They are massive in size (the largest of the alien species), and they have a split personality of sorts that they refer to as their “beast.” Their beast lives inside them, very much with its own personality, and only comes out during danger or mating fever. When the beast comes out to play, they grow bigger - with elongated fangs, sharp facial features and bulging muscles - and their main personality takes a backseat behind the scenes. Did I mention that the Atlans are my favorite of the alien species? 🫶🏻

There have been way too many romance novels I’ve read that had me frustrated and yelling “Jesus Christ, when are they gonna fuck?! Get to the good shit already!” When we’re 50% in, and the main characters have barely kissed each other, leaves readers like me aggravated. This is NOT one of those books. While Grace Goodwin has added more adventures as the series progressed, it is still, quite literally, word porn.

As I’ve read through this series and all its spin offs, I can attest that the plot is incredibly addictive. I am way too invested in each book, in all its adventure and romance. This book was no exception. Highly recommend.

I like the alien and human brides/mates stories and how they overcome differences. I have read many of Grace Goodwin's stories, but I change up genres now and then. When I saw her name on this book, I knew it was a 'gotta have it'. Her writing brings you into the middle of the setting. You feel what they feel, you see what they see. When a female feels inadequate and the male is trying to make her understand he likes her the way she is, you feel both sides. When you read that another female is trying to get in between the couple and the heroine feels insecure again, you feel it!

This story is the seventh story in Interstellar Brides®: The Colony. (I really want to read the first six. I already own a few I got to get to.) You don't HAVE to read the other stories to get into this one. Characters from the previous stories are in this one too, so it is like 'old home week' when they come in and out of this story. This can be read as a stand alone, but you will want to read the rest too!

Gabriela is a latino beauty with curves that make Atlan Warlord Jorik want to follow her around just to see her. She doesn't think she is anything special because she has never be made to feel special. She isn't the skinny sticks that guys seem to want. Her parents are gone and she supports herself by being the manager at an ice cream shop. On the way to work every day, she passes buy the Interstellar Brides building and says hi to the guards who work at the doors. She likes Jorik a lot and is pleased that he has shown up at her shop every day for almost two weeks. Yes, he eats ice cream and has tried about half of the flavors, but he wants to really taste Gabriela.

Jorik has two more years of service before he can apply for a bride, but he already knows he wants Gabriela. Since the first time he saw her, both he and his beast inside, have been panting over her. He won't allow anyone to say anything unkind about her. She is MINE to his beast and to him. When he defends her when her shop gets robbed, by ripping off the guys head, hey, he had a gun to Gabriela's head. He gets sent back into battle and is then MIA.

You gotta read this!

Miami, Terra.
Gabriela è lusingata dalle attenzioni dell’enorme guerriero.

A lot happened in this book, the human female was not a bride but worked at an ice cream store close to the interstellar matching program, where soldiers have to stand guard outside the building.

A soldier who’s a beast goes into her store daily as his beast has already smelled her and decided she was his, they flirt daily until one day he saves her from a robber killing the man.

They went back to her apartment to wash up & you know what happened next, sadly he was then kicked off earth for killing a man and she was left pregnant and alone.

Shortly after going back to space he was captured by the hive & escaped almost 9 months later.

Then when he called the bride testing program to ask about her… someone lied and said she had gotten married.

She had the baby alone and honestly this book kinda dragged for me because I hate the books where you have to wait until the end for them to be fully claimed.

Luckily the warden from the bride program found her knowing she had an alien baby 14lb newborn’s aren’t normal. Then she told her he had escaped the hive and was sending her to space to be with him. The book should have ended her in my opinion!

But no they were blissfully happy for what a day or two before learning his “true” match had been found she sent to him on the colony. Someone he remembered being kind to once at the bridal program as she worked there.

This part of the book I hated so much no way the amazing warden on earth would if 1.let such an unhinged person continue to work there after repeatedly failing the bride program for being crazy & 2. How would they trust her with transportation codes or anything like that 🤦‍♀️

Anyway predictably she is obsessed with the beast alien she had fudged the record ti show a 99% match & she was very aggressive towards him. Then tried to kill his real match & wanted to keep the baby to be an instant family.

She’s stopped & taken to space jail. Then the beast & his true mate are Finally cuffed & mated properly. 🤦‍♀️

Honestly I rather them fight hive or something I didn’t enjoy this crazy girl in the book or his true mate being alone for over 9 months it was just depressing! There was already a book like this in the interstellar bride books so I really didn’t need another!

Atlan Warrior Jorik and Gabriella an ice cream parlour employee….
The delightful story of Jorik an Atlan Warrior that had been visiting Gabriella every day at the ice cream parlour, they had become friends and every day she had given him a different flavour to try, then on that one fateful day a robber had come into the shop putting a gun to her temple, his beast had done the only thing he could and ripped his head off.
Who could have believed this act could have had such a catastrophic effect on their lives as he is sent off to fight the Hive on Latiri 4 where he is captured, reported a MIA believed dead and all that Gabriela had was the life she was carrying, proof of the love she had for this caring gentle giant that had been lost too her forever because he had dared to protect her from a robber with a gun.
As the mis-communication continues to prevent these two from finding each other Jorik is advised that she has married within three months of him leaving earth and being taken by the Hive, he is sent to the Colony where he has allowed his beast to nearly kill two fellow warriors in the fighting pits.
Then on that fateful day his stars and dreams and deepest wishes are all given to him in one fell swoop, she is coming to the Colony Gabriela his “Mate”, he is at a loss as to what is going on but his breast is howling his approval and desire to claim his Mate but what is happening. As he anxiously waits beside the transport platform, he cannot believe the sight of the two humans a sleep on the pad.
Gabriela opens her eyes to the second most wonderful sight since she first saw her son Jori, it her Atlan Warrior, her love, her Jorik she cannot believe it’s him all those months believing him dead who would have believed she would travel into space to find her heart……

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Atlan Warlord Jorik is guarding the Coalition Fleet's Processing Center on Earth, assigned to protect warriors and brides. Gabriela works nearby and walks to work, giving Jorik the opportunity to see her and want her. He is drawn to her plus size figure and pursues her. However, when a dangerous situation arises that could harm Gabriela, Jorik does what Atlans do best! He takes her to her apartment and two of them get together to take care of their strong attraction.

When Jorik is ordered to return to the Processing Center, he is exiled from Earth. Gabriela is pregnant from their short time together. Now she needs to track down where Jorik has gone, despite the unforeseen obstacles – such as being told he was dead! When she learns Jorik is not dead, but had been banished to the Colony, she and the baby go to find him. Can she do that? Will it be too late for them? And will Jorik be able to get out of the new matching arranged by the Interstellar Brides Program – matched with another woman!

Once again, this author absolutely amazes me with the quality of her books. Her writing flows effortlessly and takes the reader into adventures like no other! The story line is excellent, providing a touch of tension and constant suspense for the reader as the plot unfolds. The characters are developed well and very likable, the hero strong, honorable, brave – Atlans are my favorite! The reader will connect with Jorik and Gabriela and strongly experience the fear and frustration for her as she tries to find the father of her child. Don’t miss this extraordinary book! This one is a bit different from the usual path to happiness since it occurs on Earth and they find each other the old-fashioned way! But this is a love story you will adore! Be part of the experience and enjoy every moment!

There is a definite reason that I love the Atlans and especially those on the Colony. Grace has given us another fantastic story (though it really kicks into super high gear once the couple is reunited on the Colony).

This one does not start out with an Interstellar Bride but with an Atlan and his beast who have found their mate the old fashioned way - by chance. Jorik's journey to slowly win his mate is catapulted due to unforeseen circumstances and those circumstances have dire consequences for our couple. With all the different forces conspiring to keep our couple apart, that shiny beacon know as Warden Egara once again works her magic. I really loved the way Jorik and the rest of the Colony inhabitants reacted to baby Jori (these Colony stories break my heart with each and every mention of an unmated Colony warrior). The twist with Jorik's Interstellar Bride once again reveals just how awesome it would be to have an Atlan of your own.

This story leaves me with one giant burning question for Grace Goodwin - WHEN IS WULF GETTING HIS STORY? Needless to say, I gobbled this book up so quickly, that now I just want the next book in the series and though I love the Atlans and everyone on the Colony and want their stories sooner rather than later, I know there are other stories to tell.

I started this series on book #2 (Mated to the Warriors) and I believe it has gotten better and better. In my opinion some of the stories are true stand-alones (Trion, Rogue 5 and Vikens) and others are more satisfying if you have the whole background on the Hive war (Prillons, Atlans, and Colony). It doesn't really matter how you read them but READ them!

Cyborg’s Secret Baby (Interstellar Brides; The Colony Book 7)-Grace Goodwin

The 7th book in the Interstellar Brides- Colony Book is a great read especially if you’ve already been enjoying this fun sexy exciting series.
I loved that the story begins on earth at an Interstellar Brides processing Center in Florida. Jorvik, an Atlanta Warlord is part of the team guarding the center. It’s very adorable that he develops a crush on a woman who passes him everyday on her way to her work at an ice cream store. Of course Jorvik develops a sweet tooth for the delicious treats at the store and goes daily to get his ice cream fix and his fix of his crush.

As it turns out the woman, Gabriella has also been secretly crushing on the sexy hot Atlan and makes sure he gets to taste a new flavor daily.
When Jorvik rescues her from danger they discover the mutual attraction is very real and their “mating” is five 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥of hot.

Unfortunately Jorvik does not have his mating bracelets with him and then he gets in trouble with the earth authorities for protecting Gabriella. He gets sent to a battleship where he is with several warriors we’ve gotten to know in previous books, and has no idea his earth mate is pregnant.

There are several exciting twists, turns and misunderstandings that pull at your heartstrings and have you holding your breath. Although we know an HEA is coming the storyline is a very entertaining sci-fi romance adventure that is sizzling hot and a great read. Written with the authors talented writing in this genre and keeps us coming back for more. This book is a stand-alone but readers should take advantage of enjoying the series for an even better experience.

Always looking forward with anticipation for the next book in the Interstellar Bride Series! “Cyborg’s Secret Baby” is Book 7 in the sub series: The Colony and does NOT disappoint! Grace Goodwin is a talented author and her books just keep on giving to her readers! In this amazing, SciFi series there is a main theme, HOT, SEXY, Alpha males, suspense and romance, yet each book is uniquely different, tells its own story and entices the reader from page one! They can be read as a stand alone but it is more enjoyable if, you read the series in order since characters from earlier books are mentioned and are expertly weaved into each story and we care and worry about all of them. I would recommend reading them in order.
The story begins slightly differently from the other stories - bypassing the bride matching program, our hero Jorik and heroine Gabriela meet on Earth in a more traditional way - Jorik is smitten and every day, he goes into the ice-cream store where Gabriela works to buy ice-cream - OK, he wants to see her. LOL So, begins their journey, how can they - an alien, an earthwoman be matched if, they haven’t been matched through the brides program? You think this is a problem? Well, this is only the beginning, there is a lot more to come and maintain your interest and keep you guessing ALL the way through the story. The story is fast-paced, filled with action, adventure, danger, the unexpected, hot, sexy scenes, passion and romance. There is a shiny light, even with all the forces to conspiring to keep them apart who we know as Warden Egara. Time to pick up the book and see how everything comes together! Thank you Grace Goodwin for another wonderful read!!

This book was so amazing that I read it in a day, and what’s not to love about an alien Atlan warrior beast being totally head over heels I love with you because you are his mate and no other will ever do, and that’s why these books make me believe that there is someone for everyone waiting to make that connection. Jorik and Gabriela story had so many twists and turns and a murder right from the start and never lets you go throughout this book. When Jorik kills a human man for threatening his mate with a gun at her work place sweet treats in an attempt to rob the place his beast comes out to save her and than takes her home where they share the hot passion that’s been building between them but soon after he is ordered to leave earth without saying goodbye and never knowing that he let a part of himself with Gabriela that day. When finds out she is carrying his child she try’s to find him but is told he is no longer on earth and to forget him but she cannot. Now with news he was captured by the Hive and was killed breaks her heart but she has to stay strong for there son she has just delivered and that’s when Warden Egara comes knocking on her door telling her she knows she has an alien child and must leave earth, now she has been told Jorik is alive and well and she and the child will be sent to him on the Colony planet. How does it all work out between them and how will he react when he learns he has a son and do the get there HEA read this great book to find out.

This book was wonderful.

I couldn’t wait to get this book once I found out about it on the authors fan page. Yes, there were some minor grammatical and continuity issues but I easily overlooked them because I was enormously pleased with the story itself.

I love secret baby stories. Especially, sci fi secret baby stories. I dislike other women stories. But this one was perfectly done and so I have no quarrels with that added twist. I love the female lead as a Latina and a plus sized woman doing it in her own. Best type of character IMO.

Both were likable relatable characters. No wishy washy flakiness on there feelings. Yes, there was some anxiety here and there. I loved the tortured Atlan aspect in this book. It gives it just the right note of struggle to be together despite all odds.

I can’t wait for all the Atlans on the colony to get there HEA’s. I definitely favor the colony books of this series but any Atlan story is on my reread list. When I did the interstellar brides quiz at the back of the book, I was disappointed that I got Prillon mates first. Lol. I did it over and over again until I got an Atlan! That’s how much I like these characters species.

This is the second secret baby story of the series. I hope the author does many more. I always reread the first one, even if it was a Trion story. Enjoy, because I sure did.

Love the book and the series. In this, wee meet Jorik, an Atlan who is on Earth as part of a force for the Interstellar offices housing the recruitment and brides sections in Miami. He and his inner beast notice a human named Gabriela as she passes every day going to her job as manager of a local ice cream shop. He goes there daily hoping to talk to her and hopefully gain her attention and to court her. She likes Jorik and is curious about him, awed by his looks and obvious power. While at her shop, a robber comes in, which causes Jorik's beast to unleash, but only to protect her...and after taking her home and comforting her, making love, he is called back to center and because of circumstances, immediately reassigned. His assignment is in an active Hive area and he is captured along with other Atlans. Gabriela finds herself pregnant but on trying to find him at Bride Center, told of his capture with the prognosis of his being killed from fighting the Hive technology..so she has the baby alone, never forgetting Jorik and naming her baby after him....but the story isn't over as Jorik rescued, but not to spoil the story, you will need to read this story to see what happens...KI voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.

Their love was their salvation and then their reward.
by sewsummore
Jorik was an Atlan warrior who was stationed in Earth as security for the Interstellar Brides Processing Centre. For weeks he had watched a young human woman called Gabriela. While his attraction to the young woman grew he could not do anything about it until one day when she was confronted by a violent attacker. His beast took control of him and he killed to protect the woman he called his mate. The love story of Jorik and Gabriela was a story of forbidden love, forced to abandon his love, he was sent to a distant planet where he was captured and thought dead. Only his love for Gabriela kept him fighting for his life, of escaping and returning for his love. The strength of will that kept him alive impressed me, his love was his strength. Gabriella's love for Jorik was also her strength, when she gave birth to his child she was determined to keep his memory alive named her son Jori after she was told he was dead. Though all the difficulties the lovers faced, it was love that was the salvation and then their reward.

This particular book was by author Grace Goodwin. Loved it! Not the typical cyborg read. Warlord Jorik, an eight foot tall alien from the planet Atlan, was one set among other aliens seeking their brides. Gabriela worked in an ice cream palor. But everyday on her way to work she walked passed the Bride Processing Center in Florida. Jorik's beast within would savor her scent as she passed and it was his intent to claim her as his mate, his bride. But first he had to court her in his own subtle way. Let her get to know him before he made his claim...
Gabriela was attracted to Jorik too! One night after he saved her from a would be robber he took her to the safety of her home. Their attraction for each was strong. The intimacy between them became unbounded. That night they became one and the sex was off the chain for both of them. Jorik knew that Gabriela was his mate... she thought she had lost her mind because she didn't have sex with strangers...
You must read this book to find out all the twist and turns that developed from their first night together. It is one of those that if you put it down, it won't be long before you pick it up again!

So happy to have a new Colony story the contaminated warriors all deserve their mates. Jorik meets Gabriela while guarding the interstellar bride processing center after he saves her life and they have an incredible night together before he is called away. Sent form Earth he has two years of service left before he can claim a bride even though he knows she is his mate. On Earth believing he is dead Gabriela goes on and has his baby. When the are finally reunited Jorik cannot believe Gabriela had his baby while he was being held captive by the Hive. Both Jorik and his beast know Gabriela is his mate but a sinister force is trying to tear them apart. Can their love survive through all the hardships? Love the Colony books they are my favorite all the warriors be they Altan, Prillon, Everin or Human deserve loving mates they are so amazing and when they see baby Jori they all turn to mush. I read this in one sitting now I am dying for the next book in the series. This can be read as a standalone but you will get more out of the stories if you read the other books in the series first.

Jorik the strong atlan beast falls for Gabriela the soft bodied ice cream shop girl.
On first sight of seeing Gabriela walk past his guards station at interstellar brides to get to work Jorik is hooked.
Trying a different flavour ice cream every night in the hopes that one day he'll get to taste the beautiful sweet flavour of Gabriela.
His hopes come to tuition but then he is banished from Earth immediately leaving behind the beautiful Gabriela, his mate?
With no way of saying goodbye Gabriela is left wondering what on earth has happened to Jorik and did he actually feel anything for her at all.
The saying never judge a book by its cover is totally true for me where these books are concerned.
Intergalactic love has never been a genre ive thought about and on reading the blurb and looking at cover etc of this kind of book I more than likely wouldn't buy it, which would mean I was totally missing out.
This the 2nd book I've received an arc of in these series to review and I have thoroughly enjoyed both books, looks like I'll be adding another genre to my wish list.

I loved this one. OMG how I loved this one... and perhaps it is best to say this story is just smashing I loved it!!! All that aside, this story like so many before written by this author had one problem - It was too short like way too short... This is a story while reading you are so into the story you sort of never want it to end, but of course it has to at one point. The storyline is there and the characters OMG loved them, and loved them some more. Perhaps one point - the leading lady maby was made a bit simple? Otherwise perfect. I liked in this story, what happened on the Colony that we got to hear a bit about previous leading characters from earlier stories, that was neat. As has happened before after finishing a story by this author, I just cannot wait until the next story comes out. I can only hope this review is a bit helpful but I can at least recommend this story and then some.

I love intricate story telling of the Interstellar Bride Programs. I actually listen to them through Hoopla when working. However this one was not my favorite due to the female narrator. she was dry and her inflection did not reflect the emotions of the stories and the reason for the low star rating. Other than the female narrator, I found the story quite interesting.

Atlan Warlord Jorik is in love with the ice cream lady, Grabiela. He watches he constantly and want to make her his and he does after she is attacked and he kills that guy. But they are separated due to him breaking Earth law sent away to fight the Hive. Back on Earth, Gabriela looks for him and ends up having is baby cause she is told that he is dead. After giving birth and him being recued from the Hive, they are reunited and here comes the drama, Wendy - his bride match...or is she?

If you can get past the female narrator, Then you are in for a great ride. Looking forward to listening to the rest in the series.
