Exciting!

An episode full of action and excitement!

Princess Shuri finally, willingly, agrees to take up the mantle of the Black Panther.

She is still unaware of the location of the space lubber, the giant insect that came to earth to steal music and memories.

With the disappearance of her ancient memories, given to her by her ancestors, Princess Shuri must find the space lubber.

The young girl, Mansa, is still linked to the space lubber and it uses her to return to earth..

Shuri is back home in Wakanda, taking the Black Panther mantle. The Space Lubber is back too, though, it attacked important memories and invaded Mansa's mind again. Shuri and her allies have to fight it, but things don't all go as planned... Spectacular art, once again, cool story.

Back on track

Shut has become the panther on her own terms. I hope her power loss is temporary. I love how Storm is drawn.

Nnedi returns

Good color artwork. One of three hundred comics marvel gave out on national read a book day, Sept six. These books would be easier to review if they were 32 pages long? Marvel should deliver full size books if they are in the comic industry, not skimp and deliver 70% . Shurri has been pushed into the black panther position without regard for how she died, the space lubber is getting bigger.

#readingwomenchallenge Prompt #7: #africanfuturism - Shuri Vol. 2 by Nnedi Okorafor.

Love seeing a girl scientist in action. Storylines were good. Artwork was VERY inconsistent. The second volume Shuri looked like 3 different women. I fell in love with Shuri in the Marvel movie and her personality shines through in Okorafor's writing.

I love Nnedi’s writing but the graphic novel format leaves me cold.
