Terry and Phil’s D/s journey begins in Role Play:
Some like it rough…
Hollywood photographer, Terry Patterson, loves his job. But when it comes to romance, there is none – at least not anymore. Ever since producer, Phil Watts, abruptly left for a high-paying job in Toronto, Terry’s been determined to move on with his life.

Phil has learned the hard way that work and career is one thing, having someone by your side to love and cherish is another. Now that’s he’s back in town, Phil is ready to take the knowledge he gained while being trained as a lifestyle Master, and is determined to claim his boy.

As they discuss whether or not Terry is willing to try a relationship as a sub to Phil’s Dom, one thing in particular piques Terry’s curiosity. Phil mentions role play, and there’s a fantasy Terry has always had, but been way too embarrassed to ever confess. Will Phil agree to satisfy Terry’s darkest fantasy?

Their connection deepens in Bondage Play:
Phil needs to show Terry some restraint…
Terry and Phil have begun what promises to be a very satisfying D/s journey together. Their rough role play was a success, and Terry is ready to allow Phil to have more control over him in all ways. But even Masters have doubts, and when things take an unexpected turn in Phil’s film production career, he worries that he’s not properly taking care of his boy.

Terry craves his Master’s control…
Terry now knows that being submissive answers a need within himself he’d never realized existed. Then Phil takes their scenes to the next level as he introduces Terry to more extreme bondage. But will the return of an old nemesis from Master Gerard’s BDSM gatherings spell real danger to Terry? Right as the Dom and sub decide to play with Master Gerard and his boy, Marco, the danger becomes even more frightening than they all could’ve imagined.

In Pain Play, Terry is ready for some pain that brings him pleasure:
The deeper Terry becomes immersed in a 24/7 dynamic with Phil, the more he realizes that he’s ready for them to be fulltime. Phil couldn’t be more thrilled when Terry confesses his desire for them to take the next step in their Master/sub relationship, and he decides to explore some of Terry’s soft limits regarding pain. Adding to his joy are the approaching holidays that include celebrating with their friends.

Surprises are revealed, forbidden desires are shared, and their New Year begins with a bang—which not only brings them closer to each other—but to their friends, Master Gerard and his boy Marco.

Author's Note: The Play Series Box Set, Volumes 1 - 3 contains the complete editions of the first three books in the Play Series adding up to over 100K words of reading enjoyment and no additional stories. In addition, the first two installments have been revised and reedited. Be advised that Role Play contains consensual, rough fantasy role play that some might find upsetting. Phil and Terry are a committed couple within a D/s relationship who are deeply in love, but there are scenes of group play. As always, every story has a strong HEA to keep your romance addiction satisfied! Thank you for reading, and watch for more of Phil, Terry, Marco and Gerard coming soon.

Terry & Phil are Bound Together!

The love journey between Terry & Phil includes reuniting, exploration, a bit of traumatic drama and commitment. This bundle consists of three short stories, Role Play, Bondage Play and Pain Play. These stories mostly details the Play with bit of the relationship on the side.
Morticia Knight is an interesting author. The writing is good, not great but however it’s intriguing. I’m very ambivalent about her stories but I will continue to read more of her books.

This is a wonderful 3 book series. It takes a novice reader through the basics of bdsm and power dynamics. There is enough kink, play, drama , and love to satisfy seasoned readers. I loved this series! The boxed set is the easiest way to read this great series.
This series follows Phil and Terry as they explore each other, discovering their way into the D/s lifestyle, and into each other's hearts. There are good friends, who they come to love in unexpected ways. There are several really evil enemies. As Phil and Terry continue on their journey, limits will be breached. You will share their joy, fears, insecurities, and love. Despite all the drama, HEA is assured.
You will love this book! It is an amazing look into a world few experience, let alone understand. Grab it. Read it . You will be glad you did.
This book contains adult themes and language, some necessary violence, graphic mm sex and is intended for mature readers.

This would have been perfect if it hadn't been for that one lot twist in the last third of the second book. And i might even have forgiven that if it hadn't already happened similarly in at least two of Knight's other books that I read recently. I usually don't mind formulaic romances but in this case i could do without this particular part of the formula.
