The Karawi Sheikhs #1

The Sheikh's Surprise Heir

Rate this book
Every time Natalie looks at her beautiful daughter, Iris, she can’t help but think about the passionate night she spent with a prince—and for good Prince Iman Karawi is Iris’s father. Though Natalie longed to tell Iman about their daughter, unknown to her, Iman’s manipulative uncle hid the truth. Even as she goes on with her life, caring for her daughter and her dying mother, she cannot get thoughts of Iman out of her mind. Now, six years later, a chance meeting brings back all the feelings Natalie’s tried to forget. How could one-night haunt her after all this time? It’s clear Iman wants to continue where they left off, and it’s just as clear to Natalie that he might break her heart again. Especially if he ever finds out that little Iris is his. For Iman, Natalie was always more than a one-night stand. He never understood why she left so abruptly, and even years later during a chance meeting, he’s still drawn to the blonde beauty in a way he can’t explain. Despite being promised to another by his parents, Iman can’t suppress his excitement—or desire—at seeing her again. But this time, Iman is not ready to say good-bye. He makes her a job offer she cannot refuse, and as he and Natalie spend more time together, it’s clear to Iman he cannot marry his fiancé, not when the love he feels for Natalie burns so deep. As the past threatens to destroy their blossoming romance, it might be too late for either of them to find the happily ever after that has always been just out of reach.

3 OK Stars

An easy and light one time read, as I enjoyed breakfast and tried to wake my brain up. Natalie works as an airhostess, and it is through this job that she crosses paths with Prince Iman Karawi, a passionate night together (after they survive a plane crash) results in a child the Prince remains unaware of for about 6 years.

Iris (the surprise heir) was a delight and added a fun layer to the story, she’s the reason why I gave this book 3 stars. The chemistry between Natalie and Iman was just ok, I didn’t really feel an emotional bond between the two as I would have liked to. There were some overly corny moments in this once the truth came out, but not so bad that I cringed. I wasn't keen on how oblivious the Sheikh was when it came to , nor did I like the fact Natalie took a job in the royal household but seemed ready to keep her secret. Still on a morning where I was feeling exhausted this was what I needed as I tried to wake up.

I received this book as part of an ARC review. It was a quick sweet read. I liked the character of Natalie. She might try to be polite while working but won't let others walk over her. Despite her dislike of his perceived character, Natalie is attracted to Iman which is returned. When the plane crashes, Iman sends the others on the flight for help while staying with Natalie. Their attraction flares and they have a wild night. Once rescued, Iman is informed that his father is dying and his uncle, Sheikh Salah, takes it upon himself to get rid of the American woman. He calls her names and pays her for her silence while telling Iman that she left on her own. Six years later they meet again on a flight but are still bothered by the lies created by Salah. However the attraction is still strong. Iman tries to find out why she left and what she has been doing but Natalie stonewalls him. She is still scared of the threats given by Salah even though he was dead and doesn't want to lose her daughter. Iman is now the Crown Sheikh of his country and arranges to hire Natalie as his personal flight attendant. Natalie agrees reluctantly after talking to Iman on the phone. Salah's lies are revealed. The possible arranged marriage to Princess Bari is stopped after she meets first Natalie and then Iris and Beetle. Bari's true character is revealed as cold and bad for the country which Iman is modernizing. It soon comes out that Iris is Iman's and he takes advantage and asks Iris how to get Natalie as his. Natalie agrees. At their wedding it is shown by the people how happy they are with Natalie as their queen. While there is some angst, it is a sweet novel which I enjoyed.

Natalie is a flight attendant and she works on an American Airliner and it crashes with Prince Iman Karawi and some of his associates and guards on aboard with other crew members. When his people wanted to get him out and to safety first and then send help to Natalie then Prince was against it. He ordered them to go ahead and get help and then come back for them. While they were gone him and Natalie talked about their lives and got close in the few hours they had alone and ended up sleeping together. Iman's uncle rescued them however once they were back at the palace he doesn't know that his uncle rushes Natalie back to the states. Now years later they meet again and Iman goes out of his way to get Natalie back in his life. What will he do when he learns that she had his child?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

The Sheikh's Surprise Heir is written by Leslie North. This is bbok one in the series Iman and Natalie's story. From the beginning the book aptured my attention. Its Fast-moving and exhilarating. I am saves Natalie's life and through it all the attraction stood out. Their one hot night that neither would forget. Iman's Uncle saw the attraction burning between them but to protect his family he lied to both of them. Now fast forward Natalie had Inam baby but he doesn't know. Another chance meeting has both wondering what happen the attraction is still so strong that Iman makes Natalie an off she couldn't refuse. But there is a couple of problems. Iman is set to marry someone else but when he gets Natalie back in his bed. He knows that he would never let her go again. What had my laughing is how he finds out that Iris is his child. Good, heartwarming story worth reading.

North brings the heartache to a haunting romance. Iman and Natalie ended before they ever had a chance to begin. Years later, when fate offers up a second chance, will the secrets that haunt them, ruin their new beginning? The Sheikh's Surprise Heir tempts with romance, intrigues with mystery and makes sure to leave readers craving more.

Although this was to be Natalie’s week off, she needed the money for her mom’s medical bills and accepted her friend’s shift as flight attendant on Prince Iman Karawi’s private flight. The Prince was very annoying, complaining about the coffee being weak. This was the third attempt to get it the way he liked it. A bodyguard snapped at it taking so long, to which she calmly replied that she hadn’t realized the hurry since the first two cups were rejected; she would be happy to get the instant coffee out of the back for him instead. The Prince himself wouldn’t even talk to her, instead letting his guards give her a hard time. But at least once they arrived she would have two whole days in Haamas to explore and see the sights. That would be the best part of the trip.

As Natalie was adjusting the temperature control over the Prince’s head – which he could easily have done for himself – she noticed her position and the men laughing at how she was stretched over him. Just as she was about to tell them off, a loud explosion sounded and the wing of the plane caught fire. She prepared everyone for an emergency landing in an abandoned airstrip the pilot had located. The passengers were not injured, but Natalie was pinned down and Iman refused to leave her, much to his guards’ dismay. When she didn’t answer him to make sure she was still conscious, he told her she was an awful “stewardess”; she immediately corrected him and he chuckled. He was able to pass her a pocketknife to cut the seatbelt and crawl out of the plane. He continued to tease her as her sarcasm and snarky responses were helping her deal with her fear and her injury. But as he looked up, he saw a sandstorm coming and they had only moments to find shelter in the nearby hangar.

Iman was not like a spoiled royal. He was a hands-on guy who had no problem actively participating in their situation, bringing water and sandwiches from the plane. She found a small covered plane in the hangar which was more comfortable to sit in, and he told her to speak up if she did not want his attentions. Otherwise, he knew he could not spend the night here with her and not touch her. Without a second thought, she put her arms around him and kissed him.

They were rescued the next day by helicopter from the palace. Iman’s Uncle Salah glared at Natalie, obviously not wanting her around. At the palace, he took Iman to his father’s bedside, but it was too late. When his father had heard Iman’s plane crashed, he passed away. His uncle went to the guest room and told Natalie she was being given first class tickets to leave immediately. He said this was what Iman wanted, no goodbyes. If she said anything of this experience, Salah would see that she was ruined. So she left the palace, thoroughly humiliated.

Six years later, Natalie was still struggling to make ends meet. She had a beautiful daughter, Iris, and a dog that loved to be underfoot. Her mother had died 5 years ago. Iris always wanted to be a princess, and Natalie wished she could tell her she really was one! But Salah had made it clear that the whole experience never happened. Iman didn’t even know he had a child. And Natalie didn’t know Salah had lied to her when he made is sound like Iman had wanted her to leave.

Now that Iman’s uncle had died, he was urged to marry so the people’s morale would rise. He hadn’t wanted to, but looked on the list provided for someone who would not expect romance. Now he was stuck in France waiting for another plane they diverted when his had a mechanical failure. His thoughts turned to Natalie and how hurt he had been when she left without a goodbye, thank you, or even condolences on his father’s death. As he boarded the diverted plane, he heard shouting between one of his people and the flight attendant who had not eaten in 16 hours and who said they were not stocked for surprise VIP guests. She sounded so much like Natalie – and he was shocked when she stepped out of the plane! There was fury on her face! At her plane being delayed, or at him? He needed answers on why she had left as she had, and why she would be angry with him now? This time, he was not letting her walk away like before! But what about Sheikh Fadel’s daughter, the woman he was supposed to marry?

This author is excellent at building up the story line with descriptive details and introducing the reader to the characters in a way that makes them real and believable. It takes no time at all to show the reader that the fussy Prince is actually an intelligent, charming, caring man who is aware of everything around him and what must be done. Natalie too is a caring person, close to her mom and trying to take care of her. The reader’s emotions are definitely tapped in this book as something good and positive is twisted and hidden so that neither party knows the good thing they lost or why. Can they open up and express their pain? Can they find the truth in what happened to them? And could they then make a life with each other, and make a little girl the princess she always wanted to be?

I really want a Sheikh romance that I love

I probably have read maybe 3 romances with sheikh’s in them, I think I like the idea of it more than I have liked it I’m practice. I think it’s more that I’m desperately trying to find one that I love, and so I picked this one up. I also have a tendency to really like secret baby books so I figured why not.
In general the book was fine, it was cute more than anything, probably not a re-read for me. My first big issue was this book is 100% insta-love, and I just can’t get behind insta-love. Yes they did experience a terrifying ordeal, an emergency landing on a plane is pretty dang scary, so I can see a strong emotional attachment or fondness, but not love after a few hours. Also I totally understood Natalie’s reasons for not telling Iman about Iris, it was malicious, and once he knows she’s absolutely not trying to keep their daughter from him at all. Which is good, makes me like her.
I did like Natalie, she’s a good daughter, a good mom, she seems to have quality friends. She’s protective of her family, and she also doesn’t have an issue standing up for herself, which is something I love in a heroine. As for Iman, he’s interesting enough. I don’t really have strong feelings one way or the other. Honestly, I liked his mom a lot more than him, but she showed more personality than he did so that was easy to accomplish. Oh and the dog, Beetle, kind of adorable.
Like I said, the book was fine, I don’t have any real complaints, but I didn’t fall in love with it.

The Sheikh's Surprise Heir

This was a fairy tale story. Natalie had been a flight attendant who in one flight met a sheikh. They had a one night stand. But she was warned away. Now six years later he is back. But things have changed. If I say anymore it will give away the story line. This was a fast read for me.

The Sheikhs Surprise Heir

A n interesting story, could have been longer and lesser in it, but probably more true at the start of it as that's what I think t would have been like in those times.

Natalie is smart realizing a one time fling with Inman wouldn't turn into a love affair. Her daughter Iris is a adventurous child. With Inman's uncle telling Natalie lies to keep her away from the prince. Inman and Natalie met again and worked things out. This was a good quick read.

Original review: https://myshelfbooks.wordpress.com/20...

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

So, it seems that all the books from the Leslie North factory are going to be about a couple of strangers that doesn’t know how to play Tetris following the basic safety measures. That is just peachy… said the reviewer sarcastically. I have five more!! FIVE!! OK, it is my fault for clicking the Request buttons in NetGalley like a crazy person. Now I need to put on my responsible pants and review the books I was given, no matter how dreadful that task looks like right now.

This time we jump into a plane to meet Natalie, a flight attendant in private flights who desperately needs the money to pay for her mother’s cancer treatment. That’s why she tries to put on a smile to deal with Iman, the Sheikh (a.k.a. Prince) of a small kingdom who is very opinionated about her coffee making skills. In truth she just wants to tell him what is what to his face, but she must control herself. Any pretenses are drop when the plane has an accident and both of them get stranded in a remote hangar. The banter becomes passion, but heavy is the weight of the crown and Natalie has to leave Iman’s kingdom in not the best way possible. Six years later, they meet again…

The length of this book is its main strength. There wasn’t a big story to tell, so more pages would have added more annoyance to the reader isntead of enjoyment. As it is, the size of the book is perfect. Concise, direct, without useless detours and always focus on what it wants to tell. The story itself is rather simple and barely remarkable, so trying to strech it would have been a really bad idea. At least, that length work in favor of the plot thread about Natalie going to Iman’s kingdom to work for him.

Sadly, I can’t say the same for the romance. It lacks development everywhere. Leaving aside the first passionate encounter, where the adrenaline after the accident was high and the good judgement low, the next interactions between Iman and Natalie are surprisingly few. I’m not saying just in the more carnal sense… Any kind of contact between the two of them is drastically cut down due to their jobs. When do they get to know each other? How can they be so sure about their love is they have barely talked to each other? I can’t buy the platonic love that is described in the book. Too much, too soon.

As for the characters… I guess they are both OK, but I don’t really feel that I have got to know them. Iman would be a great characters if he wasn’t royalty. That fact constraints him too much. Always being careful about what he says, what he does… But with Natalie he is more relaxed and we get to read a more enjoyable individual. Too bad the flight attendant is not around that much. Natalie by her own is kind of annoying. I barely understand her. She is miserable for the most part of the book, what adds to the previously mentioned unbelievable love. If you don’t like the life in the palace, just go. You don’t need it! Why do you choose to be constantly worried for a guy you barely know? At least, when they are together she regains some self-esteem and their conversations are rather funny. On her own… it’s a pain to be witness of her rather low morale.

And talking about reading pains… In which mind was a good idea to take your six-year-old daughter to a country that has barely got over traditional values that don’t leave in good light women’s freedoms among other things? For a visit it would have been OK, but liiving there? The first order Natalie gets is: Don’t leave the palace alone! Try to stick to traditions. Do not embarras yourself (a.k.a. embarras Iman and his kingdom…). I can’t believe that any sensible mother would remove her daughter from her school and friends to be privately tutored in a palace of a kingdom whose culture is drastically different from what she knows… In the book Iris adapt pretty well, but that is just ficition… I bet that would be a traumatic experience for a kid that age. So yeah, reading that bugged me badly and I couldn’t shake the absurdity of the whole deal.

With this book, the good and the bad balance each other to make a light reading for a slow afternoon during the summer. As long as you are not looking anything meatier, this story could be a good choice for you. In the following books, we will meet Iman’s brothers who, it seems, will be as sexually reckless as him…

Six years earlier- Natalie kept chanting in her head- I need the money. Natalie was suppose to have this week off but Erin had begged her to take the unplanned flight so she could go to some unplanned icon’s concert. As much as natalie wanted to spend the week at the hospital with her mother as she fought cancer she needed the money to help cover her mother’s medical bills. But to be honest working prince Iman Karaior’s private flight barely made a dent in the medical bills. The man was also very unpleasant. Natalie had only been working at Kayleina Private Flight for a few months and the money was better but the rich clientele left a lot to be desired. Natalie had been a flight attendant for five years. The prince was hot even if he was a butt and her heart skipped a beat every time he looked at her. The plane had to make an emergency landing and Iman heard the woman scream. Than he saw she was trapped in her part of the plane, he wouldn’t leave her alone. Iman sent his guards to get help and he did get hre out of the plane but noticed a sandstorm would be there very soon. They just shut the door to the hanger and the storm hit. A fire erupted in Natalie when Iman touched hre. Natalie had a bad gash in her arm but Iman fixed her up. Natalie found a string of lights and went exploring. She found an aged light aircraft and sat in that. Iman called until he found her than he brought water and some sandwiches from the plane. They talked about Natalie’s mom being in the hospital for the month than Iman said he knew the pain as his father had cancer and with the best doctors they still couldn’t help him. Iman had been the good son, the responsible son. When his father passed away he would become the Crowned Sheikh and there was certain expectations of him. Natalie and Iman had sex. The next day they were rescued by his uncle Sheikh Salon. Natalie wanted to try to see Iman when she learned his father had died but his uncle Sheikh Salon called her a whore and told her she was to leave immediately that is what Prince Iman wanted. Sheikh Salon had a check for her silence of a hundred thousand dollars natalie refused it but the Sheikh brought up it could be used n her mother's medical bills. Against her conscience natalie took it and left immediately. NOW- georgia wanted Natale to go out with her but Natalie said she couldn’t go. She had been out with georgia two months ago that was the last time she went out. Natalie had got pregnant from the one night with Iman and she now had Iris a very smart little girl. Natalie needed to find a job more grounded but until she paid the last of her mother's medical bills she couldn't. Gordon was natalie’s savior. He and georgia had dated briefly four years ago but they decided they made better friends. He had stepped in one month when Natalie's regular nanny couldn’t watch Iris when she was a trip for work. The cranky chef fell in love with iris and she with him. Than natalie had to fire her nanny and Gordon and Georgia if she was available watched Iris while Natalie worked. Natalie had listed Iman as Iris’s father after Sheikh’s Salon threat. Natalie told Iris her dad was gone when she had asked about him.
I absolutely loved this book. I didn’t want to put it down and didn’t and read it in one setting. I hope to read the next book this author writes. Ms. North you did it yet again -another outstanding book about a sheikh and this one included a flight attendant with this sheikh. I loved Iman and Natalie together and how they interacted. Iris was just too cute and definitely added to this story. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

What happens when a live prince comes to your rescue? A night of steamy passion!

Once again Leslie North has written a fun, entertaining, witty, sexy romance in The Sheikh's Surprise Heir. This is book one of the new The Karawi Sheikhs series and I can't wait to read the next two.

The Sheikh's Surprise Heir centers around Iman, the H, who is a prince of a small Arabian country. He is the oldest of three brothers (the next two books already tee'd up for this series) and is going to become the King when his father passes. Add in a loving and somewhat doting mother and an "evil" uncle and you have yourself a typical family. .

Natalie, the h, is a young flight attendant who is working for a private plane company on the "luxury" flights. One flight she ends up with the impossibly rude (I mean who sends back several cups of coffee complaining they are not made right and won't adjust his own air flow at his seat, let alone even talk to you directly and instead have his bodyguards complain to you on his behalf), but smoldering man, Iman. Add in an unexpected bumpy landing, a shared night of passion and then a few other things which lead to all sorts of misunderstanding and you have yourself a great plot.

Jump to six years later, a little surprise present from the one night of passion in the desert and an unexpected reunion and you have a lot of sparks and romance. Natalie and Iman try to figure out what happened all those years ago, as they each had the wrong idea, fight their attraction to each other, deny their feelings, try to hide some surprises on both sides and then finally say what the heck and barrel headlong towards their HEA.

There were a number of several scenes that had me laughing out loud and others that had my mouth in a smirk and a slight moan in my throat. As always though Leslie is not gratuitous or way too far out there. You can identify with the characters and cheer then on towards their happy ending. I would recommend The Sheikh's Surprise Heir to good book to read if you are looking for something fun and fast that will leave you with a good feeling when you are done.

Natalie is a flight attendant working for Kaylana Private Airlines. Needing money to pay her mother's medical bills, Natalie picks up an extra shift from her co-worker. Natalie finds Prince Iman to be rude and annoying. After an explosion that causes the wing to catch fire, the plane is forced to make an emergency at an old abandoned airstrip. Iman refuses to leave Natalie trapped in the airplane and sends his bodyguards and pilots for help knowing they will return because he refuses to leave Natalie behind. The chemistry between Natalie and Iman is sizzling hot, and they give into their attraction for each other. Natalie and Iman are rescued the next day by a helicopter sent by the palace. Upon arriving at the palace, Iman learns his father has passed away. Iman's uncle confronts Natalie forcing her to leave without a goodbye. Natalie is warned if she ever speaks of Iman or what happened that she will be ruined. Six years later, Natalie is struggling to pay bills while raising her daughter. Iman is contemplating marriage to help boost the morale of his people since his uncle has passed away. Iman and Natalie come face to face when her flight is diverted to take Iman back to his country after his plane has mechanical issues. Iman wants to know why Natalie left his country six years ago without a goodbye. Iman makes Natalie an offer she can't refuse but knows she should. Can Iman get Natalie to open up to him? Will Natalie and Iman be able to keep their hands off each other? Will Natalie tell Iman what his uncle did six years ago? How will Iman react when he learns who Natalie's daughter really is? I loved The Sheikh's Surprise Heir by Leslie North. The Sheikh's Surprise Heir is a fantastic story with great characters, especially Iris and her dragon dog, Beetle. The Sheikh's Surprise Heir had this reader laughing out loud at the banter between Natalie and Iman, or the way Iris wants to be a princess and has a fascination with dragons. I can't wait to read the next book in The Kawari Sheikhs series.

I am loving this series. This is about Sheikh Iman and Natalie. The beginning of the story is a hoot, the banter between the prince and the flight attendant is to die for. The other characters such as Shekinah Taslima, Gordon, Georgia, Iris and her crazy dragon dog Beetle made this a wonderful story. Natalie meets the Prince on his flight back from America to his country, only to have the plane go down due to mechanical issues. As everyone gets out Natalie is unable to and bleeding, the Prince tries to help her and commands his guards to go seek out help leaving him alone with her as the vehicle they found only sits six. While help arrives, they are force to spend the night together in an abandoned hangar due to a sand storm. When they are finally rescued, he is flown home to find that his father, the King has passed away, but Natalie is forced to leave by the Prince’s uncle, without him knowing. Well six years later, they meet again and the story takes off. I have to say I love that the Prince who is now King is very protective of her even though he doesn’t understand why she left without saying goodbye. There is a twist to this story which makes it truly loving. I am guessing but the next books in this series must be about the King’s brothers Bahir and Riyad.

Leslie North has done it again with this intriguning love story. Natalie is a flight attendant for Kaylana Private Flights and she is the flight attendent for Prince Iman Karawi's flight when something goes wrong with the plane, they need to make a emergency landing. After the crash Natalie is trapped and Prince Iman will not leave her. He sends his guards to find something to pry her out with. His guards find a vehicle and it can only hold 6 people and there are 8 of them. He tells his guards to go and get help while he and Natalie stay behind. They spend the night together, the next day his uncle comes to get them. After they get to the palace and she is taking care of Iman uncle comes and tells her Iman don't want her there and for her to leave. After she is back home she finds out she is pregnant and no way to let Iman know. Now 6 years later they meet again and she is not happy, she still has feelings for him. Iman does not understand why she is mad at him.
Will Natalie tell Iman about his daughter, can they stay together? How will Iman feel about his daughter when he finds out.
This is a love story full of hot chemistry between Natalie and Iman, some lies being told and misnuderstandings. You need to read the book to find out what happens. It is totally worth the read.

WOW what a love story that not only involves a man and woman but a child as well.
Leslie North always knows what we readers want in a romance and she has exceeded expectations with this book.

Prince Iman Karawi had no idea he would fall in love with the fiery flight attendant but one night with her in an abandoned hanger on a flight strip that was no longer used.

For 6 years Natalie tried to forget the piercing eyes and the touch of Prince Iman Karawi, Crown Prince of Haamas but fear of her daughter being taken away by his scheming uncle was all the reason she needed to keep her mouth shut.

As fate would have it Natalie was assigned to a flight that replaced a plane with mechanical issues and the passenger was none other than Prince Iman.
From that flight a few days later Natalie received an offer to be the flight attendant for the now King of Haamas. The contract included Natalie and her child live in the palace.

Natalie's daughter, Iris loved living in the palace and made fast friends with everyone she came in contact with including Iman's own mother who quickly figured out Natalie's secret.

This book was a fairy tale to end all fairy tales. There were twists and turns as Iman tried to come to terms with his situation which was quickly settled when he discovered Natalie's secret as well.

Natalie works for a private and exclusive air service for the elite and this is how she encounters Prince Iman. When they are stranded in the desert alone it is very obvious the next day that they have become intimate and his uncle is furious and has her sent on her way, hopefully on his part, for her never to be seen again. That night was special and it lead to her giving birth to Iris. She never contacts Iman as his uncle threatened to bury her if she even tried to contact him. So the two of them got on with their lives. But then, a chance encounter, puts her back in his land and he wants her back forever. Their night together wasn't just a one night fling for him and he was hurt that she just ran off without a word. But his uncle is dead now and his wonderful, wonderful mother is not above a bit of matchmaking even if he has been promised to someone else. But what happens when Iman discovers that Iris is his? A truly fabulous start to a new series by the fantastic author, Leslie North. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series as this was certainly original, very easy to read and most definitely a page turner with terrific characters that I emphasised with. A great book! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most Definitely Recommended.

With hotty Sheikh Hamdan from Dubai now married his millions of female instagram followers have to look elsewhere to dream. And that can be done with the new book by Leslie North. Nothing. I have seen other planecrashes with sheikhs on Amazon but this kind of novellas guarantee a relaxed read on an afternoon waiting for a plane, on the beach or with a cold in bed.
In this story the female heroine is working as a stewardess with a private plane company. One day the client is a Middle Eastern prince who definitely was born with too many silver spoons in his mouth. The guy is annoying in extremis. but is also the only one aboard who bothers saving her after the plane has crash landed. While waiting for his bodyguards to return with help - why do you need them when you can send them all away while you wait with a wounded woman? - she is not that hurt that they cannot play a game of "can we connect on a non-spiritual level by inserting this part of mine into yours?" Their meeting ends very fruitful with a lot of money and a surprise a bit further on the road as hey why would you use a condom as there is no HIV is there in fairyland. Years later he is the king and they meet again.
A well written easy romance story that has no pitfalls. You do have to like the concept of bed before love though.

Natalie, a flight attendant, has taken a well paying job at Kaylana Private Flight to pay the medical bills for her dying mother. During a flight carrying Prince Iman the plane develops engine trouble and crashes. Natalie is left injured and trapped in the wreckage. Iman refuses to leave her thinking there is more chance of help arriving promptly if he is still there. They have to find shelter from a sandstorm and give in to their attraction. After being rescued they arrive at the palace where Iman has her shown to a room intending to see her later. Imans uncle informs him that his father has had a heart attack and died. He then goes to Natalie and offers her a large cheque for her trouble and telling her that Iman wants her gone. When she finds out she is pregnant she takes a lower paying job to make sure she never bumps into Iman. Six years later after another plane problem she meets Iman again. She is still mad at him for the way she thinks he treated her while he can't understand why she left so abruptly. Underneath the problems they both still have the same strong attraction. Leslie's storytelling is as always both funny, touching and enthralling. Definitely one not to miss.

Natalie was working for Kaylana Private Airlines. Natalie took an extra shift for her coworker. She really didn’t like when she had Prince Iman took his private flight. Natalie really didn’t like the Prince because he was always rude. They were on their flight back to his country when the plane had to make an emergency landing. Natalie was trapped in the plane injured the Prince saves her. They get back to his Kingdom and from the moment they saw they wanted her gone. Natalie’s daughter name was Iris she was the Prince’s daughter though he did not know it. Natalie hears that Iman would be getting married and to top it off she had to go to the kingdom of his soon to be bride. Natalie got through the weekend she knew she would be resigning. He refused to except her resignation and his soon to be bride was coming to the palace. Meanwhile Iman’s mother knew about her and Iman and knew that Iris was her grandchild. Natalie told Iris they would be leaving and Iris did not take it well. Will things somehow turn for the better or will Natalie and Iris escaped before Iman knows she is gone. Natalie knew she was not Queen material after how she was treated in the Palace.
