My passion is writing! What could be more delicious than inventing new characters and seeing where they take you?
I am blessed to live in Indiana, a state I share with many Amish communities. (I find the best spices, hot cereal, and good cooking advice at an Amish store not too far away.)
I've lived in Honduras, Grand Cayman, and Costa Rica. One of my favorite activities is exploring other cultures. My husband, Paul, and I have two grown children and five precious grandchildren. I love to hole up in our lake cabin and write -- often with a batch of popcorn nearby. (Oh, and did I mention dark chocolate?) And I can often be found walking the beaches of Costa Rica.

Enjoyed reading this story very much! I am sure it was hard for Any to admit she loved her best friends husband, but it does happen, even today! I would recommend that I e read all of the 3 books so you can get to know all the characters in the series !
Great story! & loved the ending! I am sure anyone would agree it was best for Susie! & Grace would have wanted it to end this way!
When Andrew's mother-in- law tries to insist that Susie needs to live with her full time Andrew refuses to let that happen. When his mother-in-law has to return to Pennsylvania to care for her ailing mother Andrew hires Amy to care for Susie. During this time he realizes he loves Amy, but does she love him enough to give Peter up? Eventually they declare their love for each other and marry, forming their loving home.
I have enjoyed this series of books so much. I am so happy this worked out for baby Susie. I do think it was a great way for they story to end. I am sure there are lives lived in communities where such tragedies like a new mothers passing where something similar to this has happened. In the best interest of sweet Susie her world will be filled with an essence of her mother with dad and Amy’s memories.
An interesting insight into the life of these Amish families. The experienced the Englisher feelings of grief, anger, love, and bitterness but had an underlying love of God.
So thrilled to have been able to read ALL three of this trilogy in order and in a short time span.i loved this story and hope perhaps there would be a fourth book ... Well done , loved each character.
