Alexa Whitewolf grabbed me with the first Moonlight Rogues book and since I have been happy to dive into each new book. As excited as I’ve been for each, I had the most excitement for Third to Tumble. Why? Because Finn is my favourite of the guys. I’m always excited for a new book in a series I love, but I was extra excited to read about my favourite character.
Although the romance in this one is a standalone, I do recommend reading the prior books in the Moonlight Rogues series first. Things have been building throughout the series, things continue to build throughout this book, and there’s so much promise for the final book, all of which is better enjoyed if you’ve read things in order (the prequel included). Provided you have read the prior books, you’re in for a serious ride with Third to Tumble.
I thought I knew what I was going to get with Third to Tumble, but I was wrong. Alexa Whitewolf has created a fabulous world with the Moonlight Rogues series, with each book introducing us to a different mythology and sucking us in deep. The same was true with this one. The mythology was wonderful, and there was much more to it than just the werewolves. However, what really shocked me was the direction in which the story moved.
I was not ready for the way things played out in this one. It wasn’t what I’d anticipated, at all. It surprised me in the best way possible, ensuring I completed this one in a single sitting. The story goes in completely unexpected directions, and there are moments where you will be left with your mouth hanging open. I could write so much about how surprising this one is, but I have no wish to give spoilers. Just know, it’s a shocking read in all the right ways.
Without a doubt, I’m super eager for the fourth book in the series. I need to see how things play out from here. There are so many things I cannot wait to see more of, and I’m desperate to find out how things end. There is no doubt in my mind that I’ll devour the book the moment I get my hands on it.
If you’ve yet to give the Moonlight Rogues series a read, you need to amend that issue. It’s a hidden gem, one more than worth reading.

THIRD TO TUMBLE, the Moonlight Rogues series' third installment, follows the adventures and misadventures of Finn and Elle. Finn is a werewolf, and Elle is a regular girl ... or is she? As intrigue, mystery, and romance unfold, sinister events happen, which turn into discovery and realization. Things aren't what they appear. People aren't who they say. Twisted realities.
As usual, Alexa Whitewolf shows the reader fantastic creatures in a contemporary setting with a twist of magic and whatnot. Highly recommended paranormal novel. Read it!

Third to Tumble: A Werewolf Shifter Romance Suspense (Moonlight Rogues Book 3) by Alexa Whitewolf this was an amazing read. This is book number three in this amazing series that i lvoed reading very much. I highly recommend this amazing story to all who loves readign about shifters.

Is my mouth hanging open? Shut my mouth. Is my mouth hanging open? Shut my mouth! I am in total shock and awe from this book!!! I’ve read the first 2 books and the amount i thought i knew about Finn, wasn’t enough, especially when it came to the shy girl at the bakery he always took an interest in, but never seemed to say much to.
I’ve loved the Moonlight Rogues Series so far. As much as to say, I’m a little obsessed!! Four HOT main guys, who are also four DIFFERENT kinds of werewolves!! It’s very interesting how they all come from different areas and their wolves all have different characteristics because of where they come from. It delves into mythology, and it’s so just unlike any werewolf series you’ve ever read. Alexa does a beautiful job explaining this while keeping the story alive and very active. The story moves along and you get sucked in and do not want to put it down!! With Elle coming into this story, things become VERY interesting!! I loved her character, she was truly unique!! And Finn...sigh...blink, blink (dreamy look) he is the sweetest guy!!!!
I love the way Alexa writes. Her dialogue is written so smoothly and you’re just swept right up in the characters and their story. Her characters!!! Good and bad...all her characters are written with so much depth, that you want to know more and more and more!!! Keep writing, Alexa!!! Now as far as her world building. I have been so impressed up till now, but this book is AMAZING with the world building!!! I felt more so, because there was more opportunity for it. But you could visualize yourself there, smell the smells and feel the texture of the wolves’ fur and the dragon’s scales!!!! FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC!!!!!!! I’d tell you more you could visualize, but I’m not handing out spoilers.
This book deserves 10 howling stars, but i can only give 5. Just know if i could, I’d double that!!!
I’m looking forward to book 4, with Lucas, the one wolf my heart has been crying to read about...THE LEADER OF THE PACK!!! If you haven’t started this series I highly recommend you give it a try, I guarantee you’ll be hooked!!!

Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Can't wait to read more of these.

Oh man! This is the 3rd book in the moonlight rogues series and it is just getting better as you go along. Alexa has mastered the art of suspense, emotional turmoil, and romance all wrapped up in a nice paranormal package.
I loved Finn, I have from the beginning but I fell in love with him even more in this book. He might have even taken the place of my favorite wolf in this series, though Lucas still has his turn to keep the number one spot. Finn is such a sweetheart and i heard all of his dialogue in an Irish accent which made him even more yummy.
Elle is stubborn but so strong underneath her shy appearance. I loved getting to know her even more, especially outside the bakery, though I love the bakery so much. I loved watching her blossom into her own even with all the chaos surrounding her.
This book will pull on your heart strings, make you gasp and have your jaw drop all while giving you the warm fuzzies and smiles that hurt your cheeks. I was sucked in from the beginning and not able to stop thinking of this book well after finishing it. It is a masterpiece of paranormal romance and worth the strain on your heart that you will get from the epic suspense!

I received this book for an honest review. This is the third installment of this fun series. This one tells the story of Finn and Elle. Finn is an Irish wolf whose talent is being able to "taste" the emotions of others. Elle is special though. She doesn't know much about her history except that her mother went insane from hearing voices in her head. She wonders if she will end up the same way. Elle finds out more about her history and how special she really is. All while falling in love with Finn. This book updates us on the previous characters and how they are doing. There is a huge big thing that happens. But I don't want to spoil it! But it might make you cry a little bit. I know I did! This book introduces a few new characters some good, no wait not really! They are mostly bad!! But this was a fantastic follow up for the previous two! I'm really really looking forward to Lucas' story now though. Even if I don't particularly like him right now!

The action, surprises, challenges, steamy love and changes continue
In Book 3 shy, demure Elle (who turn out to be part dragron) and Finn (Irish wolf empath) take center stage, along with her great-great-grandfather Tytus, the zmeu dragon. All three, and each of the others we're rooting for (Luz, Dom, Dani, Tristan, Lucas and Fiona) face unique, personal challenges and death as they fight the hate-filled wolf pack led by Cade. This pack has been given magic through a witch used by a power-hungry and dangerous zmeu. The suspense and action are ongoing.

Alexa Whitewolf’s “Moonlight Rogues” is an excellent paranormal shifter series, where elements of paranormal fantasy mix, romance and shifter lore that brings the whole genre to a whole new level by delving into real mythology, which not only give the characters a credible background but offers a whole new set of information based in real traditional history.
“Third to tumble” is the third book in the “Moonlight Rogues” series and my favorite of them all! I muss confess that I am very partial to Finn’s story, he is Irish after all😉 and Alexa Whitewolf, true to her writing style makes an excellent job of interlacing Celtic myth and lore into Finn background story. Finn is also the most level-header and collected of all the four guys, a stickler for the rules who is not about to let a couple of wolf hormones to control his life… until Elle comes along and Finn finds himself at the mercy of his wolf desire and tumble down for a girl, who doesn’t even wants to give him the time of the day. Elle may acknowledge Finn’s charm (Irish remember 😊), but she is wary of the consequences, after all there is some things in her life that would better let unearth. But as both Finn and Elle struggle to keep apart, Karma has a mind of her own, and whatever Karma want, Karma gets… its Karma after all. This a wonderful story full of unexpected turns, and – even if I just confessed to my bias – the best and twisted of them all.
Alexa Whitewolf writing style is excellent, smooth, crisp and entertaining, with a very well-crafted world and wonderful characters and an abundance of real myth and folklore elements that give highly interesting background story without overshadowing the action and romance in the stories. I fell in love
The more I read of this series, the more I fall in love with them. It is a pleasure to read about of all of these characters both old and new. This author builds powerful stories with lots of folklore. Each character has their own particular charactereristics that make them endearing. There is a thick suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is with both sadness in reaching the conclusion of these series and eagerness to read Lucas story. All I can say is for all lovers of paranormal romance not to miss these stories. And to the author I say BRAVA!!!!

More Wolves, More Dragons, More Witchery, Mates, and more
Luz and Dom remain my favorite couple in this series with Dani and Tristan coming in second and Elle and Finn coming in third. Wow, this book was a roller coaster. Lucas continues to irritate me If I could I'd slap the man he goes from one extreme to the next all while IMO still being a jerk to his pack mates when they find their girls.

This was the story I was waiting for. :) Finn is my favorite of the four guys and I was very intrigued by his story (and not disappointed. :)) It’s full of tension and mythology and magical creature. The stakes are higher, the story more complex and the intensity is at the max. :)
Finn is usually the rational one, the one that keeps his cool. Until he is around Elle, she makes him lose his head every time he is around her. And when her own heritage puts her in harm's way, he will be there to protect her.
It’s the best so far!
