To Patrick Lefèvre, nothing matters besides his family, his friends, and sex. He isn't cut out for relationships, and everyone knows it.

Since his divorce, Brandon Smith has had a lot going on. There's no time for hookups or one-night stands. Not until he meets Patrick—a man as elusive as he is gorgeous.

Little does Brandon know that the man he just slept with is his new therapist. And his appointment is tomorrow.

Can Patrick and Brandon deny their deep attraction and develop a normal client/therapist relationship? Can they limit themselves to hooking up once—or should they give their passion one more chance?

After all, what harm could come from one more night together?

So far this series has been stories that might be a little too real for me.

In Rewind we read about a second chance at love after a horrible tragedy. It was not an easy read and at times, for me, it was too much.

Return, I read because it was the second book in the series but had I paid better attention I probably wouldn’t have touched it with a ten foot pole. It was so out of my comfort zone.

So far, maybe a bit much for me, not easy, breezy, beautiful, but for sure compelling. Books that I would have missed out on but feel mostly glad I didn’t. Stories with their own sort of beauty that kept me reading and ready for more.

Revive had such a different vibe. One I am guessing is more my speed but just not at all what I expected from the third book in this series. I am guessing that maybe I should be happy about that? It’s not as if I want to read difficult subject matter. It’s not like I want the pain. But, at the end of the day, I’m not that happy. This just didn’t pack the punch that the first two did and it felt lacking. I think I came to expect a certain story from this series and I just didn’t get it here. Every time I expected it to happen it just didn’t. There wasn’t the same struggle for them to be together. Yes, there was obstacles, but they weren’t of the emotional variety like I anticipated. I expected a lot of no, no, no from Patrick. I expected a battle of the mind and the heart. This just wasn’t what I thought it would be.

Worse, I don’t know if I ever really got the connection between Brandon and Patrick. First, I just didn’t buy it. I don’t know what caught Patrick this time. He’s been with many, many, many men. I just never really understood what it was about Brandon that turned his head. And then, when he found out about Brandon, why he seemed to give in so easily. There should have been angst here. There wasn’t. Brandon is a whole other type of animal. This is a very inexperienced man. Very. I can see him getting caught in the first man he’d been with. I can see that Patrick would be overwhelming in the very best way, but it didn’t feel exciting, it felt a bit wrong and didn’t seem to go with who he was. He seemed to be a bit of a pushover.

The drama that we did get sucked. It pissed me off. I truthfully don’t know if I wanted Patrick to put up with it. I felt so much hurt and anger (there it is!) on his behalf. I just wanted to shake the shit out of Brandon. But, this was more of an annoyance, a frustration than and real kind of emotion.

So, the hurt, the pain, the drama I expected. The overwhelming sense of angst, the this hurts but I can’t put it down was missing from this and I feel sad. It’s such a conundrum. It’s the opposite of what I want to read but here, where I expected it and geared myself up for it, I totally missed it.

This might be the end of the road for me with this series. The second book pushed me as far as I probably would want to go and the next book looks like it would push me even farther. I may just quit while I am not necessarily ahead but at least at a good stopping point.

Revive is the third book in the Rewind Series by Rowan Shaw. It is an M/M bisexual romance, with plenty of angst and drama. As with all Rowan Shaw’s stories, it pulled me in right from the beginning. The story is quite emotive- it is so well written that the characters and situations were completely ‘real’ and believable. And as I have said previously- Ms. Shaw certainly knows how to tell a great story- writing a complex, thought-provoking, moving, and memorable story.
This is Patrick and Brandon’s story. Brandon is about to discover that the man he just slept with will turn out to be his new therapist. Oops. Now what? Will they be able to keep things ‘professional’- or will their chemistry blur the lines between therapist and patient?
A beautiful story about connections, overcoming prejudices, being true to yourself, self-discovery, romance, issues, and so much more.

Thank you, Rowan Shaw!

Revive by Rowan Shaw a rocking four-star read. This is number three in the Rewind series and I have read and enjoyed the series they get better with each read and story, but you could read it as stand-alone. If you have read the previous novels then definitely read the note from the author, as This will surprise you, I was so empathetic towards Patrick and this surprised me as I didn’t enjoy his character previously, but this author has a way of making you really care about the people in these stories, makes you see people differently, make you think differently. It was steamier than I would normally have gone for in this genre, but the author has a way of making it an integral part of the story and just more compelling reading.

I think this series gets better with every book. I never hesitate to pick up this author, I know I'm in for a ride when I do. This one is no different. This is a story of romance and professional boundaries. Brandon and Patrick are great characters that have strong chemistry. After a one night stand and the realization of a patient - therapist relationship will they cross the line? They made the story feel real and kept me turning pages to the end. I highly recommend this must read book.

I've been waiting for Patrick's book since I read Rewind and this doesn't disappoint in the least. Patrick and Brandon are amazing together. I love their dynamic and Patrick is so whipped! All I could think while reading the book was, don't hurt Patrick. (So Patrick might be my favourite 😉)

While this book is dual POV, we get Patrick's POV a tad more. Also this takes place in the same time frame as Rewind. I love this series but this book is my favourite. I loved the banter between Patrick, Enzo and Jean-François.

Wei, Brandon's daughter, is another one of my favourite characters. (She kept reminding me of Wei Wuxian, probably because I'm addicted to The Untamed). I loved her.

Please do heed the warnings as this book deals with biphobia. I highly recommend this book. Happy reading!

Patrick is a playboy who goes to bed with every willing man he finds attractive. He doesn't even think about stable relationship and settling down. One day, in one of the clubs he meets Brandon, an incredibly handsome American with whom he spends the passionate, unforgettable night. However, his life turns upside down when they meet once again, this time as a psychologist and his patient. Their mutual attraction is impossible to ignore, which is one of the reasons things get even more complicated. Especially, when Brandon's bisexuality comes to light as Patrick has a deep-seated aversion to bi people.

"Revive" is the third volume of one of my favorite series, "Rewind" written by Rowan Shaw, which focuses not only on the stories the author tells us, but also on showing some problems the bisexual people face. I admit that starting reading this part I didn't know what to expect from it. The author creates stories which are very different from one another, and "Revive" begins in a direct and somewhat powerful way, so there was always a possibility that in the end I might not like the novel so much. However, it quickly turned out that there was nothing to be afraid of, as Rowan Shaw used the mentioned beginning in an amazing way to show us Patrick in a more thorough manner, and thus to better shape the story. It so happens that thanks to this powerful beginning, "Revive", being a romantic story, has this fairy-tale vibe that makes this novel sweet, which immediately conquers our hearts. So, you better watch out because you can easily fall in love with this book.

The thing that I undoubtedly love about "Revive" is the combination of feelings and complete sexual compatibility. Why I even mention this? Many novels emphasize the fact that being in love with your partner makes sex way more pleasurable. I believe it's true, although I don't want to check it. On the other hand, some time ago I read an article in which an expert stated the fact that feelings lose with sexual pleasure. Thus, regardless of the feelings towards the other person, people eventually return to the lovers with whom they had the best sex. So if we consider the fact that Patrick is a playboy, for whom physical pleasure is extremely important, is it possible for him to build a stable relationship on his feelings alone? That's why I think that by combining amazing sex with feelings, Rowan Shaw gave Patrick and Brandon a strong foundation on which they can build something solid and lasting.

The great advantage of "Revive" is also the fact that building her two characters the author focused on their past and its impact on them, their views, life situation, problems. Thus, the characters of Patrick and Brandon consist of two overlapping images of them - the first one shows who they are, while the second one shows how they were shaped by their past. However, Rowan Shaw doesn't let her characters to remain the same throughout the novel, as she gives them the opportunity to grow and change. This is a really big plus because it makes Patrick and Brandon more real. What's more, our characters' painful past is presented like a mirror that distorts their image. They need each other to see the problem, throw out the crooked mirror and put the new, good one in its place. I really liked this presentation of the problem.

And since I've mentioned the reflection in the mirror, I would like to stick to this topic in a way. In "Revive" I fell in love with the fact that in this novel the need for "repairing" oneself and finding a new self within oneself is so important. The characters don't change just like that, but they try to make each other's positive qualities more visible. In other words, they want to extract something that was already in them, but for some reasons was deeply hidden. This is important because in this fantastic way the author lets Patrick and Brandon fall in love with each other as they notice their advantages and bring some of them to light. Thus, the characters don't fall head over heels in love with each other just because they are sexually compatible, but because they see each other's inner beauty.

To sum up, "Revive" is a really wonderful, well-written, extremely interesting and addictive novel that we would definitely remember for a long time. We fall in love with the great characters in the blink of an eye and they are the reason we want to read some more about them and we don't want to part with them. In short, I recommend you "Revive" with all my heart.

____________________________

Brandon knows he needs to come out as bi. He's long had feelings and desires that strictly straight men don't have. Then he meets and has a one night stand with a gorgeous, confident man, Patrick, who turns out to be his new therapist...Yeah... But there are more obstacles to their relationship than just that one little thing. There's the fact that Brandon is a single father and may or may not be able to stay in France if his ex-wife moves with their daughter. And what about coming out to his mom? Can Brandon actually do it? How will she react? And what about Patrick's biphobia? When he realizes Brandon is bi, will it put an end to their budding whatever it is? So many obstacles!

I'm a bit torn on how to rate Revive. On one hand, it was fairly engaging reading. I liked the premise and I liked a lot of the secondary characters, especially Patrick's closest friends. On the other hand, I felt more than a little disconnected from the two leads. It's not that they were awful characters or anything. They were just a bit one note and not super interesting, especially Patrick. His phobia was pretty ridiculous, although I understand that it's a real thing and affects a lot of people, so I'm not discounting its authenticity. The "drama" or conflict was kinda anti-climactic to the point that I almost felt like there didn't need to be any of it at all. And finally, the connection between the two men wasn't strong enough for my tastes. So I guess three stars is all I can rate this one. I will probably read more from this author, though, because I can see potential here.

Being so in love you get depressed without the other person? Being so enamoured most of your life feels empty or almost... pointless without him? There are times I would roll my eyes so hard at that kind of romance. But some books prove that I am still a romantic at the core and the younger me that ate this stuff up years ago... is still here, inside me, just waiting for the more experienced and critical part of me to let her indulge with those few books it deems worthy of mooning over.

This book felt a little different (though really, every book is different) - the events and situations were not as drawn out as I am used to, it spanned about a year of their lives (plus 1 year later for the epilogue) and it didn't try to fill those months with unnecessary mini-stories or complications. And of course, there's the french. And France. Great change of scenery since so many books are in America (where I've never been while I have been in France, it's relatively close). Not to mention... France. Romance. Call it a stereotype but it just goes together.

The storm before the calm was also nice, mostly because it wasn't so much about internal problems (with their relationship or with the characters) but about outside circumstances.

Most of all, I enjoyed reading this and was not even that disappointed when the whole psychologist sleeping with a client was just a blip on the radar.

My only two problems were: the daughter (and maybe even his ex and her wife) and his issues that led him to seek help in the first place.

The daughter was trying really hard to be fleshed out and get her time in the spotlight but unlike the books I am "used to" (those I can compare this with), Wei took a really small part of the book - especially when I consider how her father proclaimed her to be his highest priority - he left his life just because his ex took their daughter to a different continent! And she didn't really matter, she had a say once at the beginning and then this whole weekend stuff where it felt more like trying to cram a lot of story and emotional and relationship progression into once scene. For these and more reasons, Wei didn't work for me. I guess that in these kind of mergers, the reader (is it just me?) has to be convinced alongside the kid - I had to feel like Wei accepted her new dad - and I didn't really get enough of their interactions to feel that, because a lot of it happened "behind the scenes" and we mostly see the results, when they already start to/like each other.

The same is the case with ex. She was just this person that existed and tried to act "normal" but I just wasn't feeling her.

Patrick's friends felt more real but the side characters were mostly unimportant in the grand scheme of things so this is just a minor nuisance.

Maybe I just misunderstood Brandon's issue because it felt (except that one little scene later on) that they were made up just to get them to meet after the club. Which made the solid groundwork of an otherwise interesting plot twist into something almost meaningless. If anything Patrick's issues were the ones that mattered.

Overall, definitely recommend though it may not be everyone's style.

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw
My rating 5 out of 5 stars

To say I'm obsessed and completely in love with Rowan Shaw books is an understatement. Both of the first 2 books in the Rewind series as well as this one have completely blown me away. I love the characters, the story line, the drama, everything. I really appreciate getting to see characters from the previous books appear in this book, it is nice to remember their stories while reading about Brandon and Patrick

Oh Brandon and Patrick, great couple. The way they both meet at a club and then the next day find out they are client and therapist is so dramatic, and I love it! I was wondering how it would work out between them due to this relationship but I was in for a nice little journey. Patrick having a phobia against bi people is actually pretty easy to understand when we find out what he went through in his life to warrant this disdain. Brandon seems like such a sweetheart and then when we get to see what his past was like, it's easy to understand him as well. Both men you can tell are in love with each other but take their time explaining things and putting their love out in the open for each other. I was very nervous about how this was going to end with the little twist at the end but I had a feeling it was going to end well and I was not disappointed.

Rowan Shaw is an amazing MM writer and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the books in this series so far. I highly recommend these books and they can be read as stand alones but, I would recommend the full series because the characters overlap and its nice to have that background. Well done another fantastic book, I can’t wait to see what is in store next.

**4.5**
In this book we follow Patrick and his encounter with a stranger at a club who turns out to be a new patient the next day at work. Brandon wants to learn to be comfortable being out as bisexual and his first experience is something he will never forget and doesn't want to but Patrick isn't someone who does repeats......until now.
There are many hot scenes between the two men and it's wonderful reading the character development of Patrick as he starts with a deep mistrust of bisexuals and just having hook ups but Brandon is someone that he actually feels a connection with, wanting to see again and even go on dates with. He is someone who greatly cares about his friends and always puts his counselling patients first. The connection between the two men slowly grows, something neither of them expected. There is a lot of strong emotion and a roller coaster ride of thoughts and feelings, for their relationship and what both men are going through themselves as well, especially in the second half of the book. Brandon came to live in France to be with his daughter, having a close relationship with her and still friends with his ex wife though he gave up a big opportunity to move here. This new relationship and that one with his family have a huge impact on his life and he needs to stand for himself in the both.
The couple are great to read, really interesting with a lot of back and forth between them. Patrick and Brandon grow a lot and it's definitely a journey for them both.
Another must read in this series! It can be read as a stand alone though characters/couples from the previous books appear regularly.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Revive is the third book in the Rewind series by author Rowan Shaw. The previous books are not necessary to enjoy or understand this book. I didn’t read the others and I wasn’t lost; however, fans of the series might understand Patrick way better than I did. I felt the author’s disclaimer on their character was odd but perhaps necessary for the true fans, It is always hard to make a villain from a previous book likable and Patrick is no exception. I did like him to a point; however, I would say this story is not for me.
I am true romantic in every sense of the word. Patrick was conflicting not because of his sexual beliefs but his morality overall felt off for me. I can see his appeal to some readers. He is a very confident character, he does have a clear, and strong personality. His moral compass for me was off, and that made me not like him as well as I could have.
Brandon, he feels less developed. He is a single dad, adjusting to the fact he needs to come out as bisexual to his family and friends. He has a lot on his plate, and he lets Patrick lead him around in this story.
For me this did not feel like a love story. It is a good story, but nonetheless, just not one I loved nor would recommend to anyone who is a true romantic at heart like myself.

Revive, the third book in the Rewind series, is a great addition this wonderful world create by Rowan Shaw. Although part of a series, it is easily read as a standalone.

What starts as a one night stand soon turns into a client/psychiatrist relationship the next morning. Yikes! Of course, Patrick and Brandon can't deny their intense attraction, but acting on it isn't the wise choice.

Their relationship includes intense need that leads to some fun first-time moments. There's a lot of confusion and self-reflection. This story also includes a good look at biphobia, as Patrick is unable to trust bi men. This part is written in an understanding and compassionate manner.

It took me a while to get into the characters. As I don't read blurbs, I wasn't sure why things were going so fast at times. I just didn't feel the connection between these two. I had wanted more detail and more development. But then...

I love the turn it took and couldn't get enough of this story. My heart hurt for these men as obstacles were thrown their way. In the end, I cheered them on.
I love the end result and the overall relationship.

I continue to enjoy the side characters in this series. But, for this one, my favorite character has to be Wei, who's a delightful, charming, and funny kid.

I am definitely thrilled with Revive. It's a wonderful addition to this series.

Revive is the 3rd instalment in the erotic, queer Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. It can be read as a stand-alone but in my humble opinion, I think it would be enjoyed better if you at least read the first book ‘Rewind’ before this one.
I loved the first 2 books in this series but was a bit hesitant before reading this one as I really didn’t like Patrick when we first met him in Rewind. However I have to say that Patrick did redeem himself in Revive. Having had a bad experience with a bi man before, therapist Patrick is very anti-bi and doesn’t hide this fact. So how is he going to react when the gorgeous man he had a one night stand with appears as his patient the next day and turns out to be bi?
I absolutely adored Brandon. Having been married to a bi woman, Brandon is scared of coming out as bi to his mother as his father turned out to be bi and left them. Brandon also hasn’t had any relationship with a man yet so is very confused and unsure how to deal with the beautiful enigmatic Patrick. The conflict in his head is wonderfully written by Rowan Shaw.
In addition this book has an awesome scene stealer. Brandon’s daughter Wei is an amazing character. I just loved her wit and outlook on life. She’s a total breath of fresh air.
Loving this series so far and looking forward to book 4.

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw. This book was amazing. It's the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading the others first because other characters do appear in this book from the others. This book is the story of Patrick Lefevre who lives in France and is a very successful Psychotherapist. Patrick loves his family, friend and hookups! No relationships, he doesn't have time for that. When he meets newly divorced Brandon Smith who is out with his ex and her friend they have an immediate connection. After talking for awhile they hook up and its amazing. Only Brandon doesn't realize that Patrick is his new Therapist and his first appointment is tomorrow. Also throw in Brandon's problem not being open about being bisexual and Patrick's huge dislike for bisexuals there are kinks all over the place. Patrick realizes his feelings for Brandon are deeper than a one night stand but will all the red signs stop him from even trying. Brandon is also a single dad who may have to leave France for his daughter. This was such a fun read. Full of steamy scenes, emotions and love! Read Revive you won't be disappointed!

I have loved this series since its debut and with this it was no different. However, this is an new/adult novel that has some sexy themes so if you're not a fan of that do not read this.
• When it comes to the character diversity, like the other books there are alot of diversity here and I especially appreciate that although this takes place in France mainly there was also an American main character in it as well which was definitely good.
• I also appreciated the relationship when it came to the family aspect as well as a test of long-distance because for me personally I have endured it for awhile although not in this extreme situation, it still touched me that it is possible to endure.
• I also appreciated that Pride was pictured although I wish it was in France and not the US but that's just being picky.
• My one gripe that I had was how awful the child character was. I mean she was cute and made the transition of the relationship better, however there were moments when I was just like kid come on what are you doing??? But other than that I still enjoyed the story and can't wait to read the last two books in the series 4 out of 5 stars.

Revive was a great 4 star read and book three in the Rewind series and can be read as a stand alone.

I really liked Brandon and Patrick and their story.
Brandon is a single father who has been struggling with coming out, when he has a one night stand with a hot man things get even harder for him. Brandon gets a very unexpected surprise when he meets his new therapist, Patrick, the one night stand.

Will the chemistry between these two test the patient, doctor boundaries? Can they have more?

Patrick has certain issues with bi men, and when he discovers Brandon is bi can he get past his issues? We also learn why Patrick feels the way he does, which helped me understand his feelings.

Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great, I had several LOL moments. I really like the alternating POV, it gives you a chance to see what each of them are thinking. This isn’t a genre I read often but I was really pulled in by Rowan Shaw’s writing and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this read.

Rowan Shaw has brought to life another beautiful and sweet couple that I just couldn’t get enough of in Revive. I might be a bit odd but I enjoy the premise of the story. Something about the situation makes it seem so much more realistic and I love reading about how things go down. The first two books in the series were a bit heavier reads as far as subject matter so this was also nice to have a bit more of an airy and light tone to it.

Brandon and Patrick really make Revive shine. These two had no idea that the one night stand that blew their minds would come full-circle the way it does. How do you keep a professional mind about your therapist when you realize you slept with them??? As you can imagine this left room for laughter and some pretty hefty emotions too. It was a well balanced though and I enjoyed the way I felt as if I was there with the characters. Shaw really can build up a scene and make you feel like you went on a magical adventure. I look forward to seeing what will come next from Rowan Shaw!

I have read a few books from this author and she always surprises me. This is the third book in the Rewind series. You don’t have to read them in order but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited to read this book. When I got it I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I could not put it down. It only took me a day to devour this incredible book.

Brandon has a lot that is going on in his life. Ever since he got divorced he doesn’t want to get into another relationship. He is a very busy man. Brandon is told to go to a club one night and that’s when he meets the gorgeous Patrick. Patrick is very busy also with his job and also his one night stands. Brandon is very intrigued by the beautiful man. He loses his mind and has a unforgettable night. Brandon’s ex tells him to see a very well know therapist and he is compete shock when he sees Patrick at the desk. He has never felt this way about anyone before but his past is coming back to haunt him. Will Brandon be able to let his guard down or will he build up more walls?

I liked it....Patrick & Brandon were perfect for each other. I just don't understand one thing, why did I get detailed explanations of Patrick's hookups except Brandon? Was it already described in the previous book? (People who've read the rest of the series, help?) Cause I didn't know it was part of a series, I just picked it up & started reading. In the books I read I consider the first time my MCs have sex as a very important moment, especially considering it was Brandons' first time with a man. And I would've loved it if Ling realised it on her own how selfish her choices were & not to be told, but it still worked out. Also wish I got to see Patrick tell his mom he was seeing someone serious, but its okay, I can deal.
But don't get me wrong, these complaints does not mean I did not enjoy it, I did.....and oh my God Wei, she's such a special little being I loved her!
And all that description of foods really made me wanna go to France & eat all their fancy worded foods.

REVIVE is the third book in the REWIND series by Rowan Shaw. It is a contemporary m/m romance between a client and his therapist , although they dont know this relationship applies to them when they first meet.

This story was interesting and entertaining and definitely had me feeling some emotions. I like the characters a lot. Patrick and Brandon are sexy together and very sweet. The story has some angst, especially surrounding biphobia and willingness to give relationships a chance and the choices you make for family and for love. The story also has humor, and had me smiling and laughing. The supporting characters are also interesting and add to the enjoyment of the story.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

As a follower of the series, I was so happy when I received this book as an ARC, that I promise I’ll try to make an unbiased honest review despite my excitement. The series is amazing and this book is not exception. Even if it can be read as a standalone all happens in the same timeline than the previous books so is more interesting if you’d read them before. This book featured the story of Patrick, a player, who doesn’t believe in relationships and is biased against bisexuals, and Brandon a divorced single father, who has a phobia for coming out as bisexual. They fell in love with each other, finding acceptance and finally a family, getting a wonderful HEA. Rowan Shaw is an expert writing endearing, emotional characters with life-altering situations who have the strength to confront them, getting a second chance in happiness. Wonderful reading!!

I wanted to read this because it’s finally Patrick’s story. But I really really disliked him at the beginning. Once he started making internal changes I changed my mind and settled in to enjoy the rest of the story. Then came the feelings of sadness and heartbreak.

I was glad to meet Brandon. He is different than other characters we have met in the series. Wei added some fun times and laughter to the story. I was glad she was added. I liked the French cuisine info and how it differed and sometimes is non existent in America. Brandon’s reaction to French food was as much fun as Patrick’s to American food.

I have loved this whole series. This one is no exception. I love seeing/reading about the love of a person. These guys have all been through the ringer and have come out on the other side. I saw the next book and I am looking forward to more from this group of friends and lovers.

Rowan Shaw is my favorite go to author for MM romance! I love this series, even the fact that some are stand-alone stories! I love these characters!
Brandon and Patrick are strong men, who happen to like other men. However, Patrick has an issue with Brandon. With such strong characters and feelings and beliefs, it will be a wonder if they can figure it out.

I like the flow of this story. The tension builds quickly between the characters but not at an unbelievable pace. Shaw keeps the pages turning and the tension building. Real life situations and feelings make this story so good.

Revive, along with the others in this series, is for open minded readers only. The characters are gay, bisexual, straight and pan. This story is about the love two people can share, about how different everyone is and about being happy together.

Highly recommend this love story.

Revive by Rowan Shaw is the third book in the Rewind series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although the whole series is definitely worth reading!
This book has to be my favourite of the series so far. I loved the relationship between Patrick and Brandon right from the start. I felt their connection which I think made me connect with them that bit more than any others in the series.
The author also packed her usual creative writing into this whole book. I was swept away with the story and I really enjoyed the depth and complexity of it. I thought the author did a great job of exploring a the side of a subject that is still very much prevalent in today’s world. She did it with such an ease and sensitivity towards it.
This is a fantastic book and one that I think everyone should read.

REVIVE is the 3rd book in the "Rewind" series and can be read as a stand-alone, but I would really recommend reading REWIND first because there is a common thread to both stories. Also, it will help you to develop reading in a French accent (seriously, am I the only one that does this?)

REVIVE has a warning that there is a some "bi-phobia" in the book and I was surprised the direction where that phobia came from. It was an interesting twist I thought. This is a developed story with strong characters. Sometimes I didn't care for the characters and kind of wanted them to go away but it kept me on my toes.

Told in Dual POV and with wonderful secondary characters, the story was an "enjoyable" read. As always, I appreciate the interactive guide the author provides.

A four star recommendation from me ****

Revive by Rowan Shaw is the third book in the Rewind series.

I hated Patrick when I first met him. He was a pompous elitist and didn't have patience or understanding for anyone who wasn't like him.

Then I read his story and found out there is so much more to Patrick than what he showed us at the beginning and I ended up falling in love with him.

Oh, what can I say about Brandon? He is an overall amazing man, friend and father. He would do anything for someone who means something to him, and he shows us that several times. I wish everyone was as selfless as Brandon is.

Their story touched me in a way that I wasn't expecting. It's weird how someone with such a minor role can impact you and I had one in this story and all I wanted to do was give him a hug.

I enjoyed every moment of this story and look forward to the next book.

Revive (Rewind Book 3) by Rowan Shaw

Revive is the third Book in the Rewind series and I loved it just as much as the first two book.I found myself lost in the pages and reading deep into the night. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. Patrick and Brandon, these two definitely have attraction between them but Patrick’s his( Brandon’s) new therapist . Can these have more than a professional relationship? What does their future look like? My emotions were all over the place with this story. Find out what happens next in this must read Book. I do highly recommend reading the first two books in this series as well if you haven’t already. I can’t wait to read more from this Author
