I just LOVE this series!

Okay, yes, you should read book 1 before you read this one. Actually, you should read them all because this whole series is just AWESOME! It has that Annie-ness that I've come to love: the humor, the hotness, the action and twists and turns.

Angie was so fun to read because, up until a few years ago, she thought she was a human, not a dragon. And now, here she is, literally about to lay an egg, and the way she coped was so funny at times.

Eoin, ever the doting and protective mate, was also new to this parenting thing, and I got such a kick out of the big, bad dragon being a dad.

IF you haven't read Annie's books before, this is a FANTASTIC series to start with!

(I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)

ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL!!!
Title: Their Baby Dragon
Series: Not This
Author: Annie Nicholas
Designation: Book 7, Full-Length, NOT A Standalone, Paranormal Romance, NO Cliffhanger
Reading Platform: Kindle Edition
My Rating: Five Delightfully Entertaining Stars*****
***Although the author includes ample backstory, this reviewer does NOT recommend Their Baby Dragon as a standalone read. This book revisits the couple from Not His Dragon, the first book of the series, giving the reader a riveting update on the mating and pregnancy of New Port's most prestigious couple, dragon shifters Eoin and Angie and of course, it also includes the blow-by-blow (quite literally) account of the birth of the newest addition to the New Port family. After all, pregnant dragon shifters, especially rare ones with feathers who look like angels, can be quite vicious! lol...

OMG, I am so enamored with this whole series! I love, love, love Their Baby Dragon, the seventh outrageously adorable release in the Not This Series by Annie Nicholas! I became completely smitten after reading Not His Dragon, the first delightful story in the series, and now await each new release with bated breath. I'll admit, like many other fans, I've been especially impatient for this book since it features the long-awaited birth of Eoin and Angie's newest addition to their family, but it also includes so much more! And once again, Annie Nicholas outdid herself with another fabulous addition to the collection! We finally get to meet several members of Eoin's family - including his mother! Oh my! And we find out about Angie's - oops, I almost let the cat out of the bag, or I should say dragon, but no spoilers from me! lol... I snickered, snorted, sniffled, and cackled through the entire book but by the end, I was happy, satisfied and well entertained. Their Baby Dragon is a sexy, fast-paced, easy-to-follow, full-length paranormal tale filled to the brim with side-splitting humor, endearing characters, heartbreaking angst, dreamy romance and of course, a heartwarming happy ending. The narrative is beautifully written in the third person with his and her perspectives. The dialogue is snappy, hilarious, well-executed, and flows effortlessly. No one appreciates a well-written story more than me, but no matter how great the technical components and execution, without a cast of great characters, it's all for naught. And that's what I love about the work of Annie Nicholas, she delivers the whole package, time after time. Each time I open a Nicholas book, I'm always assured a satisfying read. And Nicholas didn't disappoint with Their Baby Dragon! I fell head over heels for the handsome, reclusive, and extremely moody dragon shifter and artist Eoin in the first book of the series and Angie, the beautiful, saucy, not-really-human owner of Scratch Your Itch was an absolute delight. And oh my goodness, the banter between Eoin and Angie was hilarious and the sexual chemistry was still smokin' hot - literally! No spoilers from me but I will say this... A dragon shifter, about to become a new papa, with more on his plate than he can handle-check! A very pregnant dragon shifter who has no clue how to build or nest or birth a baby dragon egg-check! (Egg! Egg??? This is the first Angie has heard about an egg! Oh dear!) A frantic search for a doctor who knows how to deliver a dragon-check! A pushy agent-check! A flock of persistent paparazzi who refuse to go away-check! An invasion of well-intentioned family members who make the Kardashians look like saints-check! A boatload of humor, a little angst, a sprinkle of passion, and a liberal splash of sweet romance-you bet! That and a whole lot more!

Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet, and I am but only for adult readers. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! Just as soon as she releases her next book! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Eoin, Harbinger of Smoke and Darkness and Angie, Angel Dragon of New Port are expecting the birth of their first child, but everything that could is interfering with the happy event.

This story is a heartwarming, charmingly cute, LOL funny and filled to the brim with excitement and suspense. Eoin and Angie have a unique and fun relationship but also quite sweet and sizzles with lots of chemistry and during this wonderful and exciting time, this couple finds themselves some disasters, some frightening and heart troubling events so is it any wonder that the story is full of intense emotional moments? But in the true fashion of this series, the story also has some witty, spontaneous, laughable moments as well that has readers erupting in laughter. The plot is fast paced and full of non-stop thrills and excitement that keeps readers happily turning the pages as well as holding their breath in anticipation of the happy event. But with every turn of the page, unexpected twists change the story from happy and fun to oh no worry which keeps readers on their toes. Readers finds themselves quite delighted with this reading experience as they fluctuate between a whole range of emotions throughout this stunningly cute and suspenseful story.

Somehow I liked this so much more than the original story and previous one about their Christmas. Family is tough and we occasionally do not get along, but it is so worth all of that because at the end of the day they got your back. Even the ones that have been lost along the way.

Oh heck - Angie has a load on her plate and Eoin is not helping. He is overprotective, being a helicopter mate and generally driving her insane. She is stressed at the thought of birthing an egg, going against her human upbringing. She is still getting used to being a dragon for cripes sake!

Add in she misses her friends and her business and oh yes...Eoin has decided to renovate the castle before the egg drops! Now, to add insult to injury she has a certain Alpha wolf peeing where he shouldn't if you get my drift, she is finally getting to meet Eoins family and she finds she has some of her own!

Eoins family are very....rambunctious, especially the twins (Landon and Logan). Omar is a bada$$ and Bella is like a beautiful artefact and has an arranged betrothal to a suitable match! Ryota really cannot get over how Eoin exacts his revenge - which is hilarious and totally Eoin!

I'm now waiting with bated breath to see if Eoin's family are becoming regulars!

Eoin and Angie are in a different predicament, as they attempt to bring their little bundle of fire into the world, in the latest book in Annie Nicholas’ Not This series.

And the love and adventures live up to each of the previous books.

Annie writes delightfully sexy creatures who follow their emotions, they’re shifters-so what do you expect? And Eoin and Angie are such important characters to this world, that our hearts follow them.

Angie, the Angel Dragon of New Port, is having a rough last trimester. She has no known relatives to help her navigate being pregnant and giving birth. She has only realized that she IS a dragon for the past two years. In that time, she has found a mate, lives in a drafty castle in need of repair and now preggers. Combine being hormonal, the nest you have carefully constructed getting soaked and damaged beyond repair, and trying to find an OB/GYN is taking its toll.
Angie learns that she will give birth as a dragon. Laying an egg which will incubate for a few months until hatching. This might be a problem as Angie cannot shift to her dragon counterpart. Maybe they do caesarians? Where can you turn to when you have questions about dragon gynecology and birth? Dr. Yeatt’s doesn’t know much about Dragons giving birth.
Eoin decides it is time to call in the Big Guns, his family. His mother gave birth to six children, she should know how to help Angie. What? Eoin has a large family, how is she just finding this out?
Hanna, Lady of the Skies and a few of Eoin’s sibling come to visit. Bella, the youngest sister, Logan and Landon, the twins and older brother Omar descend on Angie and Eoin. This causes chaos and concern. Eoin has hired the local wolf shifter pack to make repairs on the castle. Ryota, the Alpha of the local pack has sent a gift to Angie in the form of a Gem. This is inappropriate as that is the mate’s prerogative and Ryota was a past lover.
Meanwhile no one knows how to help Angie and she is due to give birth soon. It would help if she had a clue what to do. She can’t shift, will she and the baby live? There maybe help from an unexpected source.
What a fun, fun book! I love visiting New Port and Riverbend. So many wonderful and quirky characters. Some new characters to explore, Eoin’s family is umm interesting. Then there is Fullmoonshine that gets shifters drunk, banned from New Port but apparently not in Riverbend. Bella is promised but not mated. I am SO happy we get more characters and more fun. Wonder WHO will be next in this great series!

THEIR BABY DRAGON is the seventh release in the Not This series. Though each will stand on its own, it is much better to read them all and in the order of release.

This is meant to be and absolutely IS a treat for those of us who have fallen in love with Angie the white dragon of New Port and her artistic, black dragon, hunka husband, Eoin, Harbinger of Smoke and Darkness. Of course, twists, turns, sexiness, humor, and something completely unexpected will happen about every three-point-two pages.

Eoin as a suitor (book one) was amazing. Eoin as a dad-to-be? The sigh-meter went off the scales! Of course, Angie’s eyes were rolling at his antics as she tried to reign him in. (Also of course, as women we know she secretly loved every minute of it.) Angie’s not only dealing with a dragon-dad-to-be, but raging pregnancy hormones, no clue how to lay an egg, and the unexpected arrival of the in-laws from Wonderland! (ok, it’s just me, but I’ve nicknamed them The Queen, Tweedle-Dee, Tweedle-Dum, etc.)

The fun and the funny are not to be missed. If you’ve read the rest of the serious, don’t stop now! If you haven’t, start at book one and catch up, you won’t be sorry!

Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

Their Baby Dragon is the seventh book in the Not This Series, and I highly recommend reading at least the first book in the series. Angie and Eoin have been mated for about a year now, and not only is Angie’s life different now because she’s a dragon, but now she’s about to become a mother! But no one has prepared Angie for what being a pregnant dragon means and Eoin doesn’t seem that concerned. Between raging hormones, a visiting dragon family, and not being able to shift, will Angie and Eoin survive this pregnancy?

Oh my goodness, I LOVED this book! It was so sweet, funny, enthralling, I just gobbled up the pages and couldn’t put it down! Angie and Eoin had me laughing and cheering and even tearing up a tiny bit while I was reading this book. I loved that we got to see this whole new side to the shifters, especially the dragons, and I loved having the visiting family! Poor Angie just didn’t know what to do about her body and new urges half the time, and poor Eoin had so much to do and no time to do it all. There are new character introductions that I can’t wait to see if Ms. Nicholas will write their romances, and I’m so excited to see where this series is going to go next! Be prepared to see old characters from previous books, be prepared to laugh, and be prepared to swoon over this couple as they journey to becoming parents!

The funniest, sweetest, most dragon esque book you'll ever read!

I LOVED LOVED this book! It was soooooo funny, I enjoyed every page! Eion's family were hysterical as were Angie's antics.

Character breakdown;

Angie: from book one I have always loved her, but in this follow up? I adore her even more! She was funnier and sassier than the first book! I loved her joking ways and her anxiety towards her birth. I especially loved that we finally know where she came from! And it was sappy, but I am glad to see she now has more than enough family.

Eion: seeing him with his family was hilarious, the way he dealt with them was too. The way he acted with Angie was too sweet. And I loved his agent Roger, I especially loved the way he acted when Angie was giving birth. Do glad to see him as a father!

Favorite Quote: She handed him the baby. “I’ll be fine. Why don’t you get to know the source of your future gray hairs?”

This book brought so many characters I want to know more about!

-I would love to see how Eoin's father would have reacted to his granddaughter. And how he and his father were with each other.

-I loved Omar he was like a teen dragon lol. I want more of him

-same goes for Logan & Landen

-Samson I want to know about him too! Lol I think the author needs a spin-off series! Lol

Cannot wait for Bella's story!

Beyond delightful!

The ‘Not’ series about shifters is such a pleasure to read! Angie and Eoian of Not His Dragon fame, are expecting a baby and supremely happy. That is, until Angie tries to change from human to dragon and finds that she can’t! Despite all their efforts they can’t find anyone who can explain this mystery. Angie and Eoian should have remembered the old saying ‘be careful what you wish for’!
Annie’s books are always so well written and an absolute pleasure to read! In this book we meet old friends and make some new ones. It is said in the book that, although Angie and Eoian are in love and mated, they are not fated mates. Well, it surely seems like they are! From the descriptions of the male dragons any woman reading this book would be wishing she could find one! Now we have to wait again. It’s an unfortunate fact that a book that takes months to write, edit and massage for publication falls into a readers hands and is gone in a few hours! It’s not as if you could put it down before finishing! At least, not Annie’s books! All I can say is that you should get this whole series if you don’t already have it! I promise you that you won’t be disappointed!

I absolutely loved this book! I love Angie and Eoin. I’ve been waiting to read this book since I finished the first one. I’m glad I read the others first because they are all really good books but you can also just read it straight after Not His Dragon.
This book starts off with Angie being in her third trimester of pregnancy, and she and Eoin are concerned about the baby since there aren’t any other Dragons in New Port to give them any advice. Angie, obviously, doesn’t have any Dragon friends or family to call upon to help her since she’s very new to the whole dragon thing and Eoin is reluctant to call on his family.
Ensuring events eventually force Eoin to called in reinforcements via his fam to help Angie with the birth and her struggles changing forms. As you can probably tell chaos follows as five new dragons make themselves at home in Eoins castle.
I honestly really love this book. I loved seeing Eoin and Angie interact with their family and how quickly Eoin just falls back into his role in the family as if not much time has kept them apart.
Highly recommend, such a good series and I am keen to discover more works by this author as well as continuing the series when the next book comes out!

I love Annie Nicholas’ Not This series. This book goes back to the first couple that started the series: Eoin, Harbinger of Smoke and Darkness; and Angie (whose curse was lifted by her dragon), the feathered white dragon of Newport.

Expecting their first child has brought some complications, amongst which is meeting Eoin’s dragon family for the first time, while the castle is going through renovations the local werewolf pack is helping with.

I loved it! Angie is still getting used to the idea of being a dragon, and being pregnant with a dragon baby is different from being pregnant with a human baby. There are no dragon midwives to help, which is why Eoin reached out to his sister for help. She brings their mom, and 3 of their brothers along to try and help. It was fun getting to know the family through this story, and look forward to some stories featuring them down the line.

I don’t want to give anything away, but the nesting misadventure is what leads to the renovations.... oh and I laughed out loud over the showdown between Eoin and the wolf pack leader over an inappropriate gift!

Starting her Vanguard series next, which is a continuation from the Omegas story!

Though a bit light on the romance that this series is most known for, this is still a delightful addition! There's a lot of interaction between Eoin and Angie, although it is more of him trying to keep her appeased than anything else. As they wait for the arrival of their own little addition, things are a bit harried. Angie has some renewed difficulties in regards to shifting, much of which might be resolved if she knew anything about her family. Since they don't, Eoin calls in the troops by asking his sister to visit - who ends up bringing the whole family along. Things, of course, become even more chaotic after that. Add in a couple of former suitors, some wayward home remodeling by a shifter work crew, and things are really hopping! Thank goodness, alls well that ends well, and end well this one does! I can't wait to read more in the series, and hope that Eoin's family sticks around for the fun!

I received a free eBook copy of this title from the author, and have willingly provided an honest review.

I loved this book!!! Love the laughs I got from Eoin and Angie's family. They certainly are interesting.

The twins (Landon and Logan), Omar, and Bella are definitely the best siblings Eoin could have. The care and mischieveness they do to bug their older brother is total hilarious! Best revenge ever by Eoin. I could just imagine seeing that happen and Ryota cannot do anything physically about it because he built that building to withstand a lot. Loved it!!!!

I laughed, cried, and enjoyed this book thoroughly. I have read and purchased the entire series. I realize that more characters have been brought in through the telling of Eoin and Angie's baby, means more stories and hilarious torture to the siblings to tell. I am awaiting all the hijinks and mischief all these siblings will cause each other as they all get mated.

Thank you Annie Nicholas for this wonderful story of how this family came together for the birth of a new baby.

And I thought my family was eccentric and argumentative
This series is a riot and this book is the best yet......pick the book up and gently back away from the pregnant crazy feathered dragon.
Angie is even more hormonal and temperamental than usual - add in the fact that they now have a major leak in the roof and she's about ready to throw a major wobbly....never mind what Eoin is feeling - he was crazy and temper tantrums was his way of communicating - now his mate is heavily pregnant? Multiply that by a thousand - he needs help, so he calls in the cavalry (his family) what could possibly go wrong?
Go on grab this book and have a blast reading it - warning: don't read it in the middle of the night or you WILL wake everyone in the vacinity with your laughter.
These dragons haven't finished being crazy for the day and I don't think they're even trying to be normal.
Let the fun and games begin.

Dang this was actually kinda fun? I wasn't expecting to like it but I did. Was it super cheesy and kinda of unnecessary? Sure, was it also cute and fun? Definitely. I'm glad I read it directly after the first one so it felt like a straight continuation of their story. I may have missed a thing or two from the previous books but it didn't really affect this book and I can go back and read them with our things being more spoiled.

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish it was longer? The baby wasn't born till after 80% and by then I was committed to everything. Also we had a new character introduced at that point. I would have read more about the new cousin, everyone interacting with the baby, solo baby and mom time, renovating the castle more, more antics with his family, etc etc. Idk, this needed more after all the build up and total lack of plot (it was literally JUST pregnancy troubles. The entire book....) Going straight into Bella's story now, hope it's as fun!

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Their Baby Dragon by Annie Nicholas is Book 7 in the Not This series. Eoin and Angie's little bundle of joy is due to arrive... um.... soon?! In typical Annie Nicholas style, you are invited to witness the chaos, destruction, angst and overwhelming craziness that only two dragons in love and expecting a baby can create. Add a dash of Ryota being... well... RYOTA, Eoin's family descending upon the hormonal couple and you've got more hilarious fun than your bladder can handle! An amazing addition to the Not This series! If you haven't read this series yet (WHY NOT!?), you are missing a great series with tons of amazing characters, snark and humor, love and Dragons! WARNING: This series is Highly Addictive, Will Cause A Good Mood and Side Stitches From Laughing So Much!
This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading as advance copy.

This is the excitement of waiting for Eoin and Angie's baby's arrival ! Angie is getting worked up over having her baby with some of the thoughts that run through her head and the things she does not about her family . After the water damaged her nest it seems there is always one thing after another that befalls this couple ! And of course her ex could not resist stirring things up with his gift but I do have to say I LOVE THE WAY EOIN GETS HIM BACK !! Get ready to laugh and then tear up and then look out !! I love this story and it is soooo good ! Man I want to rave so much more on this one but I never give spoilers so I will just say this ROCKS !! This is well written and strongly recommended to EVERYONE !!

This book was amazing! I love this series!

In this book we get to witness Angie’s crazy hormonal changes as she prepares to have their first baby dragon. Eoin is the best mate ever and he tries to assist Angie in building the nest and preparing for the baby. But nothing goes according to plan and Eoin has to call in his estranged family for help. Will they be able to help Angie with the birth of their baby? Especially if symptoms are unique to Angie’s type of dragon, which nobody has ever seen before? The baby has been preventing Angie from shifting so if they don’t find help soon, one or both may not survive the birth!

Can’t wait to read the next story and hear more about Elian’s sister Bella. Loved Eoin’s crazy family!!

My absolute favorite of the entire series!

I admit that I'm partial to Dragons. And these two have been the most unusual and romantic of all the main characters in the series. What I enjoyed most about this book (other than the baby) was the entire family situation. The town also played more of a role in this book, highlighting the way the humans and other shifter species look upon the Dragons in their community.

This was one of the more humorous books in the series. Between the Hero's relatives and the Heroines hormonal pregnancy, it had me chuckling almost the entire book. My main disappointment was getting to the end and finding out that the next book hasn't been released.

So I absolute live this series and couldn't wait to see the first baby come into the world. After waiting not so patiently I fit my eyes on my copy and took the afternoon off and binge read this till it wad done. I laughed Ave cried I was anxious and worried then laughed again abs finally cried happy tears. Angie is my hero being pregnant with a baby Ave having bo cow about herself and how she'll bring life into the world had to be way more stressful than it seemed but eon was right by her side. This makes me wonder if the new characters introduced will be starring in Their own book in the future? This is a must read!!!

I didn’t realize how much I’d been missing these characters until I was surrounded by the again. I adore Angie and Eoin and I love that this book focuses back on them. This is one of those unique problems that could only happen to this pair of very special dragons. It was fantastic to get to know Eoin’s, and now Angie’s, family. The dragon brothers reminded me a lot of the gargoyle brothers; with the deep family bond that carries through even under the most merciless teasing. I’ve only just finished this book, but already I’m itching for the next in the series.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

It's nearing time for the birth of Angie and Eoin's baby and they're having some issues including a roof leak damaging the nest that Angie built. Eoin then gets some contractors in to do some repairs on the castle while he and Angie work to build another nest in a different part of the castle. There are some surprises in this book which are really great and certainly add to the story.

I truly enjoyed this book and it's a great addition to the series. Hopefully there'll be more to come. The book was well-written with characters you really want to get to know as well as the ones you're learning more about. I highly recommend this book and the series.

Their Baby Dragon

Angie and Eoin are going to be first time parents. Nothing new there, right? Well... Not exactly. They're dragons. And Angie isn't just ANY dragon. She's a dragon who has feathered wings. After fighting off over eager suitors, Angie is with her mate... And pregnant... And she can't shift.... And she MUST SHIFT to deliver her egg/baby...

Oh my, what a ride! Action packed with endearing characters and funny situations, you almost feel as if you are living in the book with the characters, enjoying their happiness and feeling their pain. Highly recommend this book to everyone!

I can't get enough of this series!
A over protective dragon mate, a leaky castle, two former suitors, a dysfunctional family, a saliva covered photographer and a surprise or two along the way.
Eoin and Angie are waiting for the birth of their egg then baby, she's still adjusting to the fact she'll give birth to a egg and not a baby.. Neither know anything so they reach out to a shifter OB for advice.
Eoin and Ryota are at it again then Cedric and Eoin's family is added to the messed up mix.
I highly recommend this book and series!

I loved this book! The characters are funny, their banter relatable, and their antics cracked me up. The description of the scene where Eoin gets his revenge against Ryota was hysterical. Little snippets like this one ran rampant throughout the book: "Eoin rolled his eyes so far, he could almost see back in time." The plot is a good one, but it's the storytelling that really deserves the spotlight. It's conversational, the kind of story a friend might tell you to make you laugh. If you don't laugh, that's on you. I highly recommend this story and love the entire series.

WHO WANTS TO KNOCK ON THE DOOR OF THE DRAGONS CASTLE?💙
I really really enjoyed this book. This series is always good for a laugh and the shifters totally grow on you. I mean a black as night terrifying dragon that makes your knees quake and who clings to skyscapers eyeing humans as lunch? Who wouldn't want to read about that!
And his hormonal white mate about to give birth to...an egg??? Then her ex shifter boyfriend is still in town and then there's her back scratching business with a difference!
Fantastic series that l wholeheartedly recommend❣ l just love these covers too!
