Demon Freed

Axelle is a woman on a mission, on a mission not to get caught, to enjoy her new body and have some down time with the men in her life....really, is that too much to ask for?

I guess when you’re running from “Luc” it really is.

When you think of the phrase “All hell is breaking loose, you really don’t ponder the deeper meaning behind those words...at least Axelle never did. It seemed an impossible feat, to escape hell and stay hidden on earth. But not only has Axelle accomplished escaping, but she has the help of a couple of sexy men who have their own reasons for being her ‘wing men’.

But just as Axelle believes she may stay hidden, she realizes something that has her stopping her head long rush to stay hidden from Luc, not only is she attracted to Luc, she might actually love him....plus now she is feeling emotions she never dreamed she would be feeling, and it isn’t a convenient realization at all!

Join Axelle in her journey to self discovery and love as she realizes that some dreams are worth greater sacrifices than others!

Ok. So it’s my fault for not reading the blurb here on good reads but I tend not after the first book...I believed that this was the final book seeing as how there are only two listed in the series & this was published in 2015... No. that is not the case, the last book was never published! What the what am I supposed to do now?! I need to know how this ends, I mean I can make an educated guess but seriously?! We don’t ever get Axelle & Luc performing to their full potential if you know what I mean *wink wink, nudge nudge*... I’m so disappointed.

What can I say except you must read this series! Anxiously waiting for book 3 because the end leaves you desperate for more. This book really picks up the pace and runs with it with no chance of slowing down. I highly recommend this book and am in awe with Eve Newtons writing

Great sequel to Demon Bound. There is a ton more character development in this book, especially with Luc. The best word that comes to mind to describe this book is "exciting". The plot, character interactions, and sexy scenes are all exciting. The ending is very exciting with a bit of a cliffhanger edge to it. Another word I might use to describe the book is edgy. Can't wait until the next book!!

The books needs to come with a warning label! *caution do not read this book unless you are looking for a sexy, hot, makes you wish you were in her place throughout the whole book* *warning: might make you break out in heat flashes* this book was spectacular. I love the sexy times that the characters have with each other and I loved to twist that was in there when Dashel got into the action. A definite must read.

Kinda hate Luc

Hmm. Well I didn't like this more that book one but u didn't hate it either. I still have some major issues with Luc. I think he's supposed to be a sexy alpha hole but he's really just a bully who throws a fit when he doesn't get his way. And Axelle just let's him get away with treating her terribly. The other guys are too afraid of him to do anything. I think how overpowered he is, is throwing off the whole reverse harem dynamic. I prefer reverse harems where the female has the most power. Here, Axelle is supposedly this strong female but she covers when Luc loses his temper (which happens a lot) because he's so much more powerful than her.

Besides being annoyed at the characters, not much happened in this book. Axelle is running all over earth trying to hide from Luc, he's killing people down in hell because she ran away, and the other two are basically side characters that she sleeps with. I'll finish the series but I don't think I'll read any more from this author.

This is the second book in the Demon Series and while Demon Bound was more a medium burn and setting up the characters and the storyline......this one is a faster burn, running with the storyline and watching the characters try to thwart the Devil's ultimate plan - problem is.....na I'm not giving anything away. You have to read the book to find out what exactly the Devil can do with his forked tongue (among other remarkable body parts!). Intrigued? Well you do have a Demon, a Reaper, an Angel and The Devil all in close quarters and the sexual energy is intense, hotter than the fires of Hell themselves .
I absolutely loved this book, and I've tried to write why I love this book but each time ends up with a hint of what's happened -so I'm just gonna say I effing loved it and leave it at that.

Demon Freed starts right off where Demon Bound left us, with Axelle trying to find a way to escape her host body. Finding host bodies that don't fight against you proves to be an interesting endeavor, especially while trying to hide from the devil.

As always, Eve does a phenomenal job on the development of her characters throughout the book. We learn more about Dashel, Evan, and especially Luc, as we see how they truly feel about Axelle and her part in Luc's grand plan through the different points of view the author gives. We meet and get to know a bit more about some of the side characters as well, and I feel a few will become a bit more important as the story continues.

I think one of the things that I enjoyed the most in this book was seeing a different side to Dashel. I can't wait to see how he changes come the third book!

After escaping Hell, Axelle is hiding from Luc. She’s on the run with Dashel, an Angel and former Heaven’s Guardian, and Evan, a Reaper. She’s in love with both of these men who are determined to keep her safe and hide her from the Devil.

Meanwhile, Luc is eager to find Axelle before her body enters the next phase of the transformation he began for her to be powerful enough to conceive his heir. Luc also has to deal with the return of his father and and ex-lover.

Eve Newton further develops these characters so the twists and turns of her storyline resonates and is impactful. Each character grows in different and unexpected ways.

This book does end on a life hanger which makes the anticipation for book 3 intense. This book definitely should be read after book 1 Demon Bound. I’m voluntarily reviewing this book.

Sexy, sultry and seductive...this book is sizzling. It’s a non-negotiable on anyone’s must read list. It has it all. Tension, passion, desperation, this book pulls you in with a gripping plot line with many fantastic hooks and twists to keep you eager to read on.

In this book, we see some incredible character development from those you just love to hate. Each development is impactful, natural yet unexpected to the point that it keeps you reaching for more. The thrill of each character entwined within the plot so beautiful that reading it felt easy, I didn’t have to force myself at any point. I became invested in their lives.

I cannot wait for the next book and with an ending like this one, it’s going to be a hell of a long, exciting wait.

MUCH better than the first book

There was a while in the first book where I was going to put it down without finishing. It just seemed slow, and the overall book did get better, though it still seemed to be missing a bit of something...

This one was much better. You got to know the characters a bit better (those who you didn't get to know all that well in the first one, like Dashel), there was more action and movement, more feelings and such coming out, etc. I was definitely into this one more than the first one, and I'm jumping into the third one now!

What can I say! Eve has done it again! This book picked up right from where the first one left off and it’s just kept on rolling! I loved seeing her relationship with her two of her guys grow but I really loved the development between her and Luc. I will say while this book was hot there is one scene that did make me cringe a bit so just a warning there. Overall I cannot wait to read book 3 and see what happens next!

Can a girl get a break?!

Demon Freed picks up with Axelle on Earth and the Devil hot on her trail. With her new body she is able to get exactly what she wants from the Reaper with her Angel by her side. But Heaven has a new guardian and she is being chased from both sides.
It was fun and sexy to see how this story evolves while on Earth and set us up for the final chapter in Hell. Demon Returned.

Sexy and Hilarious

Wow, just wow *fans self*. Axelle is on the run and trying to find a host. Luc is furious and desperate to find her. The Angels especially Vazna is after her but she turns her seduction on him and gets away which fuels his hatred. Dashel is falling, but from Heaven and in love. And Evan just follows Axelle around like a puppy dog. Axelle finally goes back to Hell and it gets steamy as in well... Hell. Can’t wait for book 3

An entertaining, funny and steamy series. Every book so far has been a delight to read and Seductress Demon Axelle's (FMC) antics and one liners in this series has had me stitches. I especially love the banter between her and Luc. Just great. The sexy times with all the characters on and off was so hot too! A voyeur Angel (Dashiel)? Blimey I didnt see that one coming. Bring on book 3 im eager to see what happens next

This is book 2 of the series and omg I freaking loves it. Also there is another book coming so now I’m more excited!!! I love Axelle. Then again I love all the men also. (Luc is still my favorite). Eve Newton again wrote a phenomenal book. This is turning out to be one of my favorite series from her. I won’t give away spoilers but you have to read this story. It’s so so good. High recommend. Loved it and I want more!!!

Axelle you have some explaining to do

This book picks up where book 1 ends. Axelle is trying to find a new host while Luc is going crazy now that she is gone. We get to see more of the angel and the reaper. Dashel is so freaking cute I love that he gets to be alittle bad. The book ends on a cliffy that will have you saying...that's where it ends and have you begging for more.

This was such an incredible read yet again! We start off right where Demon Bound left off and Axelle is still a bada** character and it was also amazing to learn more about Dashel, Evan and even Luc! Axelle is trying to find a different host while Luc is trying to find her before the next phase. You definitely want to grab the next book in the series and I cannot wait for book 3 in this series!

oh, Axelle, what have you gotten yourself into this time ... Reaper? check ... Angel? check ... Devil? double check ... catastrophic consequences? extremely possible

twists and turns with an intriguing storyline ... several body jumps ... new powers ... then completed with that irritatingly infuriating cliffhanger

beautiful job as usual, Eve Newton

This was a good read and addition to the series. Good plot and fantastic characters. I was expecting a little more suspense with this series that didn't happen or I would have given 5 stars.
