Going undercover with a fake name to solve murders, shut down bad clubs, and punish people is a ridiculously difficult job even with a team to support her. Using two covers in LA to play the bad guys from both sides to take down an abduction ring using lust demons as sex slaves and getting to the bottom of problems at the club just might get Jasmine Stewart killed.
Especially since Jasmine Stewart is actually one of her covers and one associated with her real life, even though there’s more she’s still hiding from. But she’s not alone, and from the start she finds some new allies to help her, including one who sees a bit too much and how to help her heal old wounds.
However, she’s got four guys already waiting for a chance to be with her for real, so adding more seems stupid. The real question is whether she can balance it all and give others what they need, as the trouble with ISLE wasn’t the end of the demons problems, but the beginning.
Untraceable Succubus is a crime series where the sex is hot and often and the main character kicks some serious ass on the road to finding out if she can have real love in her life even if it comes from multiple men.
Erin is a born Chicagoan who decided to state hop a bit, given she works from home. She currently resides in Georgia with her pup, Lord Vader Flynn. With an eclectic and addictive personality, there isn’t much that doesn’t interest her or she won’t pour herself into if it catches her fancy. She has always been interested in the darker aspects of life and mythologies—especially vampires, shifters, the occult, and anything paranormal.
To date, she has published more paranormal books than she can keep up with the characters for, in different genres with dedicated readers who await each release to her numerous series under any of the three Flynn names she writes.
Ok, to start I will say that I enjoyed the premise of this series and the authors ability to get a good storyline in. I enjoy the MFC (too many names to list just one of hers haha) and her work and the facets of her personality. I also love that there so many facets to her and surprises that you can keep on guessing at the hints she gives about herself, her past, or what’s going to happen and yet you never really know for sure. I’ve read a few series by this author and I feel she has a strong understanding for story building and character development. BUT this isn’t the first series where I’ve had issues where I feel the author starts changing the things I love about the MFC for the worse (though this one it happened much sooner in the series than the last one I read. Here’s what I mean: The MFC is strong and capable and doesn’t take shit especially from men. Yeah she may be scared of committing and run from it and maybe there are times the others push her for the best but now you have people pushing too much or just walking all over her when the character I fell in love with wouldn’t put up with that shit. I don’t particularly like Aiden, but I wanted to give another chance but I’m actually getting turned off more by him again when I finally thought he might be redeemable- he pushes and pushes and almost perpetuates a rape culture of “no doesn’t mean no” and “since she let me in sexually once, now I can do whatever I want” using her body’s again (like during the call to the vampire council and demeaning the value of her work...instant forgive and instant access from the MFC out of nowhere. He is pushing again, being controlling and not in a sexy way and doesn’t seem to respect her. I enjoy erotic scenes and appreciate the aspects of a sex demon. I can enjoy and understand that she uses her body as a weapon, revenge, to interrogate (though the lion shifter scene was a bit much to go with), or just because she wants to for fun and because she owns her sexuality. I applaud that mostly because it’s her body and her choice. But now she’s suddenly just a sexual object to some of those she’s with like Aiden and it’s turning crude and not enjoyable. I don’t care for her start with the wolf guy either and how he’s just thrown in without her real approval either. I worry because while it wasn’t too bad this book, I’ve seen these sudden changes and ramped up sex scene fillers instead of story, in other series form the author and they made me stop reading them. I want to continue to enjoy this story but if it continues like I fear than it’s not enjoyable or what the books started as and that’s disappointing to me. I want to have my cake and eat it to- a good story, a character that grows or at least doesn’t suddenly back down and change everything for man (men) or anyone, and that I can find great adult sex scenes in if that’s part of the story.
I like this series and would like to see more BUT this third book seemed all over the place plot-wise and the ending came out of nowhere. Seemed like there was an extra section tacked on at the end for no reason with the Germany extradition, and I’m not talking about the intentional extra chapter. I think maybe more about that secret group and some hints for a future book’s plot would have made more sense. Also there seemed to be more grammatical errors on this one as opposed to the previous two books.
Good things were I think the romances have progressed in a good way although the random Australian guy needs more explaining if he is sticking around….
I liked the fact that the MC was into Hacking/computer stuff but the descriptions of everything she was doing In the cases went on just a little too long.
Please please keep this series going, its probably my favorite of yours! I love how strong the mc is, and all her men are hot hot hot. I can't wait to learn more about all of them.
This series is so freaking HOT! I seriously need more and hope it is not over but just beginning. Erin R Flynn is now in my top 10 Favorite authors and will be stalking her.
Loved this installment of the series. hot action, kick ass heroine and alpha men to fill out her harem. I am pleading for another for this series. We didn't get much from the fae
Aside from the author spouting off on her liberal politics every chance she gets, the plot felt rather contrived and choppy, there more to separate sex scenes than for storyline development.
I have read all 3 books in this series, and I really did enjoy them. I liked that there was a lot of thought process that went into the making of Jasmine. And actual research was done, or based on knowledge, about computers and coding. If you aren’t into that kind of thing, it can get confusing at some points. I only have a few issues with the series. First, it was difficult to understand the writing at times due to run on sentences. Sentences where there should have been a comma were missing. It made it really difficult to understand what exactly was happening because two separate thought processes or events were being combined due to a missing comma. It took longer to get through the books because I had to reread over sentences and correct them in my head in order to understand them and what was going on. The other issue I had was how certain moves were described on the pole or in a lap dance. At times it was really confusing and the moves made no sense. There needs to be a more thorough description when describing things like that, otherwise no one really knows exactly what she did. I’ve only had one issue with the female lead throughout the whole series, her running issue got to the point of where I was really annoyed. Especially in this third book. How are you going to justify running from people who have gotten to know you, and you have gotten to know them, and they have proved themselves. But the next guy you meet, all the sudden it’s “let me tell all my secrets, bring you back and have you sleepover, decide you can’t live without them and that you won’t run from them, on the FIRST day! Actually, not even a whole day, like maybe a half a day max! That is ridiculous, extremely cruel, and incredibly unfair to the people who have actually earned it. That made no sense and it annoyed me that the writer wrote Jasmine like that. It made me dislike the female lead quite a bit. Other then those issues, the series really was good and had a lot of originality. I saw that there have been no updates to continue the series though. I really hope that the author doesn’t just leave the series as is. There are WAY too many unanswered questions and main characters being written in but were only mentioned a handful of times throughout the last two books. A LOT of books could be made from this series because you have several branches you can write about. The twins story and what will come of that further down the line. Mason’s story and how that will turn out. The same for Bain. There is also continuing to let the readers finally know completely about the female lead. And then of course, there is the whole secret league of assassins plot. There is so much more that can be done with this series! I just hope the author will continue the story. In the end, I still recommend the series.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Untraceable Succubus Series by Erin R. Flynn
I absolutely loved Jasmine’s story (so far)! This series was such a fun, engaging read - it gave me the same addictive vibes as the Morrigan University series (seriously, read both if you haven’t already).
Between Sera and Jasmine, I’ve got to say, Jasmine wins hands down. She feels like a more well-rounded character, and her guys treat her so much better - plus, she doesn’t take crap from anyone. Total win. I just wish we got to see her badass side a little more often and maybe give the fellas some extra page time. Still, I adore her.
Now, can we talk about Mason, Evan, and Owen? Absolute favorites. Can we please have a series where the FMC actually gets treated right by at least a few of her men? Don’t make them all turn awful later - there are good men out there! These three even adopted a puppy together, and honestly, you can’t break up a happy puppy family, Erin. Mudbug deserves this. These three stay, or I ride at dawn.
Aiden - though… still on the fence. The tracker thing is a major red flag, and everything that went down at the Berlin club and with the Vampire Council just gives me the ick. Can we maybe swap his creepy ancient vampire energy for Tristan? He and Sera are done anyway, and he’s out traveling the world… just saying.
Dylan - I’d love to smack some sense into him (but keep the spicy scenes, those were chef’s kiss). He’s just too pushy. So much Lion-Tiger-Bear energy, oh my! Speaking of Lions… didn’t Phil have that special “reaction moment” with Jasmine? Hint hint, nudge nudge. I like Phil. Team Phil all the way.
Bain - He feels a bit too immature for Jasmine right now. Maybe with time he’ll grow into himself, but at the moment, he reads more like a friend than a romantic match.
And that connection with David? I need more! Maybe not instant baby-making levels, but something deeper - a dream sequence with the elves, perhaps? (That might be a safe way to avoid the instant baby situation, LMFAO.)
Lastly, Elijah - a.k.a. Demon Daddy - deserves a bonus scene. Maybe one where he, uh, “taps the bestie”? Who said that? Marlon Brando?
Bottom line: I need more Jasmine stories ASAP. She’s officially my second-favorite FMC in all of Flynn’s books. Also just saw that book 5 is about to drop for Morrigan university too this week - ahhh so excited!!
I liked everything about the storyline and where things were going until it dragged politics into it. It was totally unnecessary for the plot. I read fiction to take me away from the negativity on all the news stations. And the author sounds extremely ignorant of all the facts out there disproving her grounds she based her opinions on. Outside of that, the storyline is really slowing down and just doesn't pull the same excitement factor from previous books. I'm not sure where the next one will go based on the conclusion of this one. Hopefully, it will pick up momentum and get exciting again.
4.5 stars. My one frustration so far with this series is that it needs some editing. I noticed it in the first two books but was enjoying the story so much it didn’t phase me. However, I noticed it more in this book… The need to reread paragraphs to make sure I’m understanding what is really happening. Maybe it’s worse in this book? There’s just too much where it feels like it’s missing commas, or they are in the wrong place, words are totally missing, or the wrong word is plugged in. Makes the reading a little tedious sometimes. Still loving the story though, and can’t wait to see what happens next.
It’s awesome that we get even more of a back story about other characters that we’ve gotten glimpses of like Kiera, Natalia and Elijah. We finally find out Lola’s, Acadia’s and Cara’s real name she was given at birth. So that mystery is solved now onto others. It’s also kind of funny how she keeps attracting more men to her everywhere she goes! I’m glad there’s another book.
Erin R Flynn never disappoints. The third book in the Untraceable Succubus series was amazing. I love how Flynn can bring into her books strong female characters whether they’re a stripper sometimes or a baker. I love how she shows in the characters lives all the sexism and sexual abuse rampant in our society while writing page turning stories. More please. And try her Dr Kelly Murphy series. It’s less know but spectacular and I’d love more of that series too.
I didn’t mention it in my reviews of the first two books, but I find the theory on how demons come to exist unique and interesting. I’m still a fan of the FMC, but I found the political intrigue in this book less compelling than the plots of the first books. I will read the rest of this series and I’m following the author. I’m looking forward to learning more about some of the other characters who were added in this book.
I like that each book is different with a different mystery to solve but it is not cookie cutter at all. Things get deeper with Dylan and Aidan. There are potentially 2 new guys...one is a total sweetie. We learn a lot more about her past and how the demons work together. We see more of the behind scenes. Still hot and steamy. Love this series.
Really excited by this series and seeing where it’s going. A great strong FMC who still has flaws and vulnerabilities like the rest of us. Love her men and now she has her six I’m excited to see where it goes with them all. Really looking forward to the next book. I read this one in one day I couldn’t put it down.
Love all the characters in the series but what would great now would be the back stories. Angela’s path that we haven’t read, how she became the queen hacker. Why the adult dancer industry as the path to creating the demon council? Oh a the decisions to hide who the big boss is, which is her of course.
This series was fun and sexy. I hope someday there is more, I fell for all the characters but felt many of the guys didn’t get enough time to be fleshed out. I hope someday it happens. Also I learned some things which seems to happen a lot with this author. I’m grateful.
This was a good addition to this series. I'm still waiting for more in this series! Erin are you done writing books for this series? Also, are you done writing books for the Enchantress, the House of Garner series? I hope not because I really like these worlds that you have developed!
This was an additional piece to Jasmin’s puzzle. I like that each story we are learning about her and who she is. The men are starting to get their act together and I am liking what I see from them. Bain is an unknown and I don’t know what to think yet. We will see how it plays out with the counsels as the story goes on in each book.
Without giving away any spoilers this series just gets better after every book released. I love finding out more about jasmine and her past also if you read on from the end of the book you'll find and additional short story of before! Another great read with some interesting topics being raised.
Love this series and am really happy with this new book. Jasmine added two new guys to her harem and we saw a lot more of what her job entails. She used two different covers to start officially dating Dylan and Aiden. I'm hoping for the next next Karma Bakery book next
Awesome story line. Crazy, funny and sweet characters that continue to grow. They also touch on a subject that most stay away from. I love it and look forward to the rest of the journey!!! Keep it coming😀😀😀😀😀
Really hope there is more to this story. Loved book 3 from beginning to end but I still have so many questions. If you like to read about a woman not afraid of her sexuality and willing to do things her way, then this book is a definite must read.
This one wasn’t quite as good as the first two, but it was still a solid pinch of feminine justice and plot thick. I hope it’s not the last one though, as there are things dangling and questions that really need some answers.
OMG I LOVE THIS SERIES. Okay I really wish there would be more but I have no idea if she is still writing this series. And it sucks because her website doesn't show this as a series she even has.
Omg, I need more!!!! I love this series so much, and I just started with book one yesterday…….I’m honestly addicted to all your series though, and can be woman enough to admit that I’m dying for more Sera and Inez as well!!
Now isn’t that interesting the gathering of power around jasmine just keeps going up but to what end? Will she truly form relationships? Or will she run again? Where will the next mission lead?
the bonus chapter was my favorite part of the book! skipping a whole lot of scenes now , especially the sex scenes. i’m really here for the plot at this point. a lot more enjoyable then book 2, but not as good as book 1 book 2 < book 3 < book 1.
