The Kitten series will always remain my shining star. Rae and her family is what got me into writing and what's kept me going. As I venture off towards new characters and storylines, one thing that will stay the same is the butch/femme dynamic. I have even dabbled with butch/soft butch non-binary characters. I love masculine women and everything about them, from their charm, chivalry, style and everything else in between.

This past spring I happily signed a contract with Painted Hearts Publishing for my new book, A Jade's Diamond, that will be released in the new year. I hope to continue working with the lgbtq publisher for more great stories I write.

I look forward to hearing your opinion toward my older books and my newer books that will be published in the near future.

Loved it! Laughed, cried, shouted, broke my heart over and over. Such complex characters, so broken yet loveable in their own way. The family this author has created in these stores makes me wanna get a bike and join the crew. Will be re-reading all 3 books in this series again.

Dynamite with an extremely sweet heart, this is Rae!

This review is for the whole Kitten series because once you start you just won't stop!
Rae is dynamite!
Her life is wild and unbridled just the way she likes it but in a legal way.
She founded her club Dark Angels on her principles and her members love her dearly which is mutual.
This story is about love and loss, about wild lust and boundaries that are crossed.
Rae experiences boundless love for the first time that she would kill for and maybe even does? A love that lets her experience immense happiness and enormous pain.
This is not the classic f/f love story.
They're tough women with wonderful characters and a great club community.
However, I have to say that the third part was really difficult for me.
I just hate it when a favorite character goes through such extremely difficult times and suffers.
Ruby and Rae have been my absolute dream team couple since book 1 and book 3 made me really mad that I didn't know if I could finish reading.
But Char Dafoe, as always, brought it to an extremely cool ending…is it the end...? ;)
I love this series! A must read!

It’s always fun and games with Rae

Rae is experiencing a new level of drama in her life in dealing with all the fun that comes with having a teenager. With new girl Blake in town, Rae faces many new challenges. Blake brings with her a past, one Rae is curious and wary of and she endeavours to take troublesome Blake under her wing as she admires her confidence, but when Blake’s being in town brings new dramas and threats to Rae’s door, will she be able to overcome it all with the same strength she has in the past.

It was great to be back in Rae’s world, dealing with all the craziness and drama that seems to land in her lap no matter what. Life just keeps throwing problems at Rae, some more personal than others and I completely admired her once again in just facing everything head on. You’d really want Rae in your corner if you had problems, she knows how to help and what to do for the best, even if she gets it wrong a few times first.
Char included some great moments in this story. Testing Rae’s patience was high on the agenda, with her daughter and with Blake and Ruby. Rae was up against it and I loved how the twists and turns showed how sick fate’s sense of humour can be for some people. Rae never has it easy and yet she still gets up, tries and keeps trying for herself and her family. The tension between her and Blake made the whole story a thrill and gave it the ups and down needed to just make this something only Rae could get caught up in.

Filled with great surprises, and another fantastic story to give further insight into Rae’s world this was a great addition to the Kitten series. I love it so much as Rae is truly unique, as is her world, and it is exciting to just get a snippet look at everything she has going on.

I highly recommend the Kitten series, and if you haven’t read the rest of the series you could read this without having done so as Char gives good insight into Rae’s past but it would benefit to have read them first as you will have a better understanding of the story. I hope we will get to see more from Rae in the future because I am sure her story is far from over yet!

Rae can not seem to avoid trouble. The tales from Alluring continue. This is the fifth book I have read by this author and probably the most polished. The raw emotions of the characters drives the story. Dafoe makes you laugh, cry, and want to punch someone. I highly recommend this series especially if you like tough, protective women.

Great read!

After following these characters through each book, I loved joining them later in life. It's very interesting to see how Harlee has come into her own, as well as the evolution of the relationship between Rae and Ruby. This story definitely gets your emotions on a full roll throughout the whole story. Another 'win' for Char Dafoe!

On my favorites list

This author can break your heart and make it swell at the same time. Rae and Ruby have a deep relationship, but it is definitely not typical. Char Dafoe is raw and real, and young! I look forward to following this author for many years to come.

fantastic

I’ve read this series from the start. I love it. This book though had me in an emotional wreck. I was either crying. Shouting. Or laughing all the way through. So emotional.
This author is amazing with how she brings out the characters so I can believe I am living their story with them.
I will definitely recommend this book.

I LAUGHED, I CRIED, I SCREAMED

All I can say is I hope this series continues on. There are so many directions Chat Dafoe could go on this book. If you like love stories with suspense and adventure than this series is definitely one to read. Fair warning there are triggers in these books that deal with the harsh realities of life so please be warned.

Rae a rough tough cream puff.

Rae just can't catch a break. A mother of a teenager and trying to raise her will have you cracking up. If you are I to the tough protective women this book is for you. I did love the ending. I definitely recommend this book.

This book makes the reader laugh, cry, feel sorrow and joy, you know the author poured their soul into writing it. Read the previous books first for Rae and Ruby's younger years and this one for the mid life.

This was an awesome edition to this series. I enjoyed reading about Rae and Ruby and the Dark Angel family. Spoiler Alert misdiagnoses.
