One of the best Devotionals I have read! This little beauty of a hardcover devotional is pretty enough to set out on the coffee table, but it is more than eye candy! I was inspired, challenged and encouraged by the words written by Miriam Drennan. These beach themed readings are rich in spiritual insight and perfect for beach-house, summer and vacation devotional time. But, if you love the beach and all things beachy, or just want to be seaside, you will love this book!

I gave this book 5 stars.

I love devotionals, and when I saw this one in a Thrift Store in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I knew I had to have it. It is so good, my next one I start tomorrow and it is Devotions from the Lake by Betsy Painter.

I love the beaches in North and South Carolina and reading this devotional every morning made me remember being there and also learn and think about how wonderful our God is.
If you are a devotional person and you love the beach, this would be perfect for you. The art and pictures are just gorgeous.

I will be gifting this to a very special person, I know she will enjoy it because I shared many of them with her already.

I learned so much about the beach and coastal life through this devotional. Some of the parallels between faith and the sea were great while others were a bit of a stretch. I looked forward to a new devotion each day and also enjoyed the pictures.

A fantastic devotional journal to take with you on your summer vacation. Whether at the beach, in the mountains, or by a pool, this beautiful book will bring you to a place of deeper peace. If you're looking for an easy read with not much substance - this is it. Unfortunately subscribes to the status quo that is most poorly written, over illustrated devotionals. Miriam lacks both depth and insight and, as a writer, fails to attach any type of literary art to her work. Devotions for the beach is safe, easy, and milky.
