वीरगन्ज मेरो सहरको कथा [Birgunj: Mero Sahar Ko Katha]

वीरगन्जमै जन्मेहुर्केका गिरीशले आफ्नो सहरको कथा लेख्न दुई वर्षअगाडि नै सोचेका थिए। समय अनुकुल भइरहेको थिएन। मधेस आन्दोलन र नाकाबन्दीको असरपछि रिपोर्टिङ गर्न जाने सोच बन्यो। रिपोर्टिङका निम्ति वीरगन्ज पुगेका गिरीश त सहरको कथै बोकेर राजधानी आए।
आन्दोलनबाट कथा सुरू गरेका उनले राजधानी फर्किंदासम्मको अनुभव समेट्ने प्रयास गरेका छन्। उनको सहरको कथालाई नेपालय पब्लिकेशनले बजारमा ल्याउँदैछ। वीरगन्जको बिमोचन शुक्रबार दिउँसो ३ बजे प्रज्ञा भवनको डबलीमा हुँदैछ।
वीरगन्जलाई विभिन्न पक्षले जोडेका छ। वीरगन्जलाई जोड्ने तन्तु कोट्याएका छन् उनले किताबमा। मधेस आन्दोलन र नाकाबन्दी त भइहाले। आन्दोलनका कारण रोजीरोटी गुमाएका नागरिकका कथा लेख्दा गिरीश उत्साहित छन्।
‘वीरगन्ज किताब सबै पक्ष जोडेको कोलाज हो,’ गिरीश भन्छन्।

although book was good but I felt disappointed. I was expecting more depth information about Birganj and the native people. and there is void between current scenario of Birgung and its relation with past. this book below par of his standard.
