I listened to Curiosity on audiobook, just like I did with book 1. This has been one of the only romance series that I have been able to pay attention to 100% on audio honestly. With ADD, it makes it a little difficult to focus solely on an audiobook unfortunately. The author has done an amazing job with this series though. The books are all in the 100-ish page range, which is also super helpful for me and my attention.
Curiosity is book two in the series, and we continue to follow Litha and her harem's budding romance journey. Litha is meant to choose just one of the four princes to be her mate / partner. This joining is meant to help end the battles between all of the "races." Bane, Kitt, Finn, and Rune have committed themselves to protecting Litha. And in that, they've all fallen for her. There's also some romance between some of the guys. Romance or that, the bond between the guys is impressive.
Litha is new to this world, as her parents have just sent her to this world. Litha learns that her parents are in danger and need help, which obvoiusly has her worried and stressed.
We FINALLY start exploring some spice within Litha and the harem in this book. Was anyone else surprised Litha is as innocent as she? I also love that she's figured out that she's also attracted to her female roommate Phoenix!
I've already started book 3 on audio, so i'll be back to review that soon. haha!

The hits keep coming are they able to find the stolen privacy documents or are they doomed and can her protectors fight their own battles that they're fighting!
This was a mouth-watering, panty-dropping, over-the-edge ecstasy with Sizzling chemistry, dark desires and scorching heat was paired beautifully with a dramatic engaging storyline that grab my attention and hold on to it brutally tight! Right from the very first page to the jaw dropping end i was dragged into this original, suspenseful, erotic, magnificent story" I couldn't get enough of the secrets , lies , twists and turns seduction brutality , sizzling taboo love and so much more this was a perfect readfor the end of the work day a tasty dark deliciously sexy treat!!!

Curiosity is the second book in the Lughnasadh Elite Academy series by Layla Heart. I liked the second book just as much as the first book, and I can't wait to see what happens to Litha and her four princes in the third book. Like the first book, the second book ends in a cliffhanger. In this book, Litha gets closer to her princes, and they all pledge to protect her. She ends up walking in on two of her princes having some sexy fun, which tantalizes her since she has been closely guarded and doesn't have any sexual experience. I also like how she isn't just attracted to guys, but girls also as the princes find out. Not only do they have to worry about other guys but other girls stealing her affections away from them.
And to make matters worse, somebody has broken in and stolen all of the information on the prophecy. I can't wait to see what happens next — only sixteen more days to wait. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This serial is $2.99 for about 100-150 pages. Not terrible, it works out to about $9 per book-sized number of pages. Eh. My issue is that there is precious little plot progression in those pages. The MCs get to know each other better. Awesome.
But the overarching theme and plot of the story plods along with little progression or depth to the story. I have so many questions as to why things are happening and the history of how it got to the way it is... Not to mention the weak plot points of her parents hiding her in the human world just to shove her unprepared into a portal with a wave and a smile... At least make it a security breach or something else sudden to cause that.
I really like the characters, but for as little as the story moves, I don't see much story being told in the next several installments. I'm going to have to pass on the rest for now.

Meh
This is a third of a book with a decent amount of sexy fun times but little substance to the actual story. And she charges the price you would pay for a whole book. At this rate, I won’t be finishing the series. I’m going to give it one more book and if it doesn’t make the price worth it, I’m finished. The cost of this book makes three stars EXTREMELY generous because it is really not that good. As I said it’s a third of a book. She calls it a novella but so far she has a 12 book series of “novellas” all at regular book prices and after two of these novellas we have gotten very little plot and it’s actually annoying because she keeps introducing more and more questions. So as I previously stated, I’m going to give this one more book and if it doesn’t get better, I will abandon this series. It’s not currently worth the money.

Another Great Intriguing Read in the Series
Litha and her four princes (Bane, Finn, Kit, and Rune) get to know one another better. The princes find that there is more to learn about each other. With an interesting twist, the steam in this series is building, as is the danger they face. With war looming, it seems the pressure these special friends will feel increases. Look forward to seeing where this leads.
After receiving a free copy of Book 1 from Booksprout, I purchased the remaining books in the series. Layla Heart has created intriguing characters in a fascinating world. I want to see how the story ends.

I finished the first book in this series earlier today, and happily dove into this second book to find out what’s going on!
I really loved this second book, so many steamy scenes 😏, more Prophecy realizations, and a new character that I already love! I’m picturing Phoenix as Cheryl from Riverdale and I think I already have a crush, competing with my crush on Kit! Haha!
These are short reads but worth it! I’m so curious to see if Runes new realization is true, because it would make things so much more different and interesting! Can’t wait for the third book 🤗

Barely a serial
This was barely long enough to qualify as a serial. It was more like 3 scenes. I really hate when authors chop up their books to make more money off of the work, and that's what it seems like is happening here. I'm not willing to pay $30 for 12 "episodes" like this one, but if the authors had just written actual serials or a full book, I'd have paid for the work. I've added these two to my list of authors not to read.

Each book in this series is short and sexy. With great characters and a decent story too. Honestly though I wish each book was longer because just as it starts to get interesting it ends and the impatient side of me hates to wait for the next one. Even though I will because I'm intrigued to see how this series plays out. A good read

Litha has been sent to a strange new world finding herself the focus of an ancient prophecy. This book is a slow starter but the plot is really good. The characters are fierce and loyal. I read this book in one sitting. I had to know whats going to happen. I would recommend this book.

Short story
Just like book 1, this was another shirt story, not even two hundred pages. Seems that you just begin getting into it then it ends. Although interesting, not sure I will continue into further books as can't even get them free with prime, yet way too short. Time will tell.

This is a fun book as we learn more about Litha and the princes and follow them as they start to explore their feelings for each other. They have some problems to deal with but that does not stop them having some fun along the way.

Short, steamy and sexy read that is just as entertaining as the first book in the series. I like reading the change/development of the relationship between Litha and her princes. The story is very intriguing and interesting.
