Metamorphoses: Stories Presented by Karen Russell and Austin Bat Cave

Rate this book
Austin Bat Cave and Karen Russell teamed up for a one-night master class for fiction writers. Students read stories of women transforming into deer, children turning into adults, a happily married man haunting his own garage attic, and more! With her astute sense of craft and imagination like no other, Karen Russell led students through a series of short generative exercises for an unforgettable night of writing. These stories were collected for this one of a kind collection—our contemporary tweak on Ovid’s Metamorphoses: the Bat Cave Metamorphoses.
