I was an old-fashioned girl, saving myself for Mr. Right. Now, I’m the property of an alien warrior—and he’s determined to make me his mate.
An unknown enemy destroyed Arythios, killing every living creature on the planet. The only survivors of their race are an elite band of male warriors who were away on maneuvers when the attack occurred.
Vowing to track down and crush the enemy, they turn to the Interstellar Federation for help. Instead of aid and shelter, they are given a handful of females from a minor planet called Earth.
Dylos
Arythios is no more. We’re the only survivors. Though I’m still grieving the loss of my mate, it’s my duty to claim one of these primitive aliens as my own. Mate with her and produce offspring to save our race from extinction. They’re uncivilized, but I’ll train mine to be properly submissive.
To my dismay, the alien female I’ve chosen is stubborn and defiant, often in need of stern punishment. I’ve tried to keep her at a distance, but her virginal innocence stirs my loins, awakening a savage hunger I thought was as dead as my world.
And her beautiful soul has touched my heart.
Trina
After I refused the advances of one of the most powerful leaders on Earth, he locked me up until I’d agree to participate in his kinky sex games. When his wife found out, she insisted I be sent far away. So he added me to what he said was a diplomatic mission to another world.
I woke up on an alien warship staring into the eyes of a hulking gray-skinned warrior who says I’m now his property. He’s ordered me to call him Master and obey his every command. When I don’t, he punishes me.
He can be kind, too—and he makes me feel things I’ve never felt before. But he’s an alien from another world. How can someone so wrong be the right one for me?
Centauri Captives is a brand new sci-fi romance series from USA Today Bestselling Authors Kallista Dane and Kate Richards featuring masterful alien heroes and captive Earth women they take as mates in a desperate attempt to save their race from oblivion
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this somewhat dark Sci-Fi alien romance & it is the second book in the series “Centauri Captives” The plot is well-thought out & written with splendid scene descriptions & unexpected occurrences. The complex characters have unique personalities, some of the characters displayed defiance & insecurities, while other characters display single-minded determination & deviousness to obtain their goals. It is about: a stubborn & defiant virginal human female is kept captive for refusing the advances of a powerful man. She is later forced to go on a diplomatic mission but discovers upon waking up that she is to became a sex-slave & breeder to a warrior (Trina), a Arythios admiral & leader is basically compelled to chose a human female & after he has chosen a certain human female he discovers that she is not exactly what he expected but what he needs (Dylos). There is: twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, enemies, deceit, betrayal, abduction, torture, memories, anger, disorientation, confusion, terror, threats, defiance, punishment, spanking, manipulations, sexual torture, discovery, compromises, strange attraction, humiliation, planetary exploration, illness, responsibilities, verbal banter, deepening bonds, declaration, acceptance, happiness, love, explicit steamy scenes & a satisfying conclusion. I really enjoyed reading this Sci-fi alien romance & would recommend it.
I loved this second book about the Centauri Captives. Trina is sent as a diplomatic offering to the Arythians but not as she thinks a diplomat should be. She was sent as a breeder to help repopulate with the men that survived the destruction of their planet Arythios. Only the men out on maneuvers survived the destruction, all the women, children and non military men were killed. Dylos, the Admiral and leader of their military chooses Trina as his breeder then starts the real story of the human virgin and the commander of the fleet. Dylos is clueless about humans and very rough with Trina at first, but he learns she is a virgin, and tempers his lessons with Trina accordingly. I loved Dylos, he was a leader and a hard man for a little Terran, but his heart is just as large as the man himself. I am loving these Centurian Captive books so far and looking forward to the next one in the works. These are sexy, spanking, lovemaking aliens that win the hearts of their human captives in the end.
Now that I'm in book 2 of this series, I'm really starting to like it. Book 1 was so brief it did not really have adequate character development of the Arythian males' characters until halfway through this installment, which although still a quick read, is almost twice a long as book 1.
In this book we meet Dylos, who is the defecto leader of the remaining Arythian population which is all male. The females and their home planet all being destroyed while males on space vessels were spared while on their missions. Although age isn't addressed, this turns out to be a May & December romance. The sexual non/dub consensual relations continue, Arythians being very dominating by their own nature, plus pressured to reproduce due to circumstances.
This book is dark and contains BDSM and D/s elements, as well a whole lot of spanking and disciplining of the females. It is well written. The sex scenes are exceptionally hot and inventive. It has a very good HEA/HFN. I'm definitely reading book 3 and am looking forward to book 4 which is to be released soon.

I'm so glad I stuck with the series because I enjoyed this so much more than book 1
Ravished drew me in from page one and never let me go! There were times when I wanted to smack Dylos in his overbearing face, but most of the time I wanted to trade places with Trina and have me some masterfully dominant alien loving. The characters were nicely rounded and I definitely felt as though I 'knew' them.
This had the same great story idea's as book one but took the story so much further, showing the deepening bond and connection between Dylos and Trrreeena (I loved that little touch!) This is really shaping up to be a very hot alien captive romance series, with a nice swirl of darkness in the centre. The plot was well paced, easily holding my attention and with enough depth to really make the book enjoyable. There were some very sweet touches, especially the pet names and tomatoes, and more of the world building that I enjoyed in the last book.
I can't wait for Joran's story and even though we barely met him in this book I sense sparks and spankings galore between him and his human 'breeder'! I hugely recommend this series to all those who love a great alien/sci-fi romance.
Ravished is the second book in the Centauri Captives and it was a simply terrific read and although it was a continuation of the previous books it was still very different, the two main characters Admiral Dylos and his human Trina who is his to impregnate and start their new race with if they are to survive after near antihalation. Trina awoke on a space ship in space and was advised that she was to be the breeder for Admiral Dylos which she did not accept quietly or meekly and he soon made it apparent that the Centauri are more than prepared to deal with wayward females by applying their hands to their disobedient behind. On the Space ship Trina learns more about her Master and why they are in need of mates, what happened to their people and their planet and she is surprised at how quickly she begins to have feelings for this very dominant male that is her mate. When he nearly dies from a virus he picked up on one of the planets he inspected as a suitable home for his people it is Trina that nurses him back to health and an antibody he carried from when he had been mortally ill as a boy that had saved him, during this time Trina had been able to get to know the crew members working alongside them and taking on some of the workload. As their relationship begins to grow and they crew continue to look for a new home and also the race that attacked their planet and killed every one living on it, time soon becomes more of a pressure as any children conceived ideally need to grow up on a planet and not simply on a space ship travelling through space. As they continue to forge their way and face all the problems that life throws at both the human females and the Centauri it continues to develop into a captivating read with very developed characters and storyline. I voluntarily received and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
This is the second book in this entertaining new series, the first having been a short story introducing the Arythian survivors who luckily were away on missions when their planet was attacked and all life wiped out, by some unknown enemy. Having requested assistance and safe harbour from the Federation of planets and Earth in particular they have been refused and instead, the corrupt Earth administration have sent women to be sex slaves for the surviving soldiers because there are no Arythian females left alive. Unfortunately the women sent have been lied to, told that they are on a diplomatic mission to a thriving and stunningly beautiful planet. Trina, in particular, has been treated very badly, kept as a hostage for six weeks by Earth’s corrupt and degenerate leader and his wife she has now been sent as a ‘diplomat’ to Arythios, a planet which has no life left on it following the attack by the unknown enemy. Trina is completely innocent and still a virgin so when the senior Arythian, Admiral Dylos declares that she is to be his whore and sex slave, she is understandably hacked off, because she refuses him he begins to punish her and then when he attempts to mate her, she is frantic and terrified. This is the story of how two people from completely different worlds, with totally opposing outlooks, beliefs and experiences can grow to accept, understand and ultimately, to care. It was an entertaining quick read which I enjoyed and I look forward the next instalment
A dark alien romance, with scenes of dubious consent and a near rape, so consider yourself warned.
The Arythios home world was destroyed by an unknown assailant, the only world to offer any kind of help was Earth, and their ‘help’ was to send the remaining warriors some human women to use as breeders.
Trina, was held captive by the Chancellor of the humans, because she refused his sexual advances. After discovery by his wife, she is given to the Arythios warriors with other humans, none of whom know why.
Dylos is an Admiral, the highest ranked Arythios native left alive. It’s his duty to both lead his people, and to help repopulate their kind. The human he picked, however, has different ideas.
It’s a dark romance, where the first half of the book is very much BDSM style, and dubious sexual situations. However, with both this second book of the series, and the shorter first book, it’s the ongoing story that brings me back. While the romance dominates the book, the background story is actually the more intriguing of the two. The unknown attacker, the sheer evilness of the Terran Chancellor... we are left wanting to know more, and hoping for retribution to be delivered. These unanswered questions are the ones that really make the series interesting, and I’m hoping that it all gets resolved in the end! Recommended for those who enjoy their sci-fi romance a little darker, and more pushing the envelope.
He was a stern taskmaster who demanded obedience! by sewsummore
Book two in the Centauri Captives series was a story that captured my imagination. Trina awaken from an induced sleep to find herself the captive of an Alien warrior intent on using her to bear his young. Dylos was the Commander of an alien fleet whose home world had been destroyed. He was a stern master who demanded obedience from the human woman given to him by the leaders of Earth. I was captivated by this story, the emotional turmoil Trina suffered was tempered by her erotic responses to his lovemaking. Dylos could not help his attraction to the human and their relationship was rocky to begin with but mellowed over time. I loved Trina's fiesty come backs and appalled at some of Dylos's methods used to train his woman. Their interactions soon became less of punishment and more loverlike as time passed. I look forward to reading more of this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.
Trina has been captured by a corrupt government official for turning down his sexual advances. As a punishment she’s handed over to a contingent of aliens seeking assistance from earth after their race has been destroyed. Her purpose is to be a breeder and help the arythians repopulate their species.
Admiral Dylos takes possession of her in a calculated and impassive move to get repopulation going. He has no intention of caring for her beyond her function as a breeder. But as events transpire Dylos is about to learn there’s more to his little human breeder than he originally thought. She arouses passion in him that makes him lose control and she touches a part of his soul he never imagined would be reawakened after the death of his previous mate.
Their love story is filled with sizzling sex, power exchange, and tenderness. I LOVED the fact the heroine was a virgin, that made their story all the more intense, her belonging to him genuine and far greater than if she had allowed other men into her body before him.
Dylos has no interest in finding a mate. He had one. But in order for their people to thrive, they have to mate with a species that is compatible. Trina was set up. Her employer and his wife sent her here. She wasn’t aware of any mission and she certainly didn’t expect to be some kind barter chip with the Centauri. I got to first read about Dylos and Trina at the end of “His Captive Human.” The way that all these women came on board and how NO ONE asked them anything but just believed the government would send them pleasure slaves. THAT part always gets me. Aren’t they supposed to be smarter? UGH, regardless of that part, at least there was a sense of care in Dylos. Well he did still keep calling her a breeder. Which, I hate that. I rather he showed something more for Trina but that comes. It does get frustrating though. But when something happens that makes Dylos ill, emotions run high. We finally see emotion from him. I look forward to the next book with Joran.
They aren’t what either expected... The all male crew are all that’s left of the population of their planet when Arythios is destroyed. The only survivors are the warriors who were away on maneuvers at the time. When they seek assistance and asylum from the interstellar federation they are instead given female slaves to impregnate and use as breeders from Earth. Unfortunately, no one told the Earth women. They were told they were on a diplomatic mission and instead woke up finding they had been betrayed by Earth. Admiral Dylos is the highest ranked Arythios alive. It’s his duty to take a breeder and help start rebuilding their decimated population. He will have to train and punish her. When he discovers Trina is a virgin, he must change his tactics. It’s his responsibility as a male to ensure her first time is pleasurable. Their relationship quickly grows into so much more...
Trina was held captive by a guy who didn't want to take the word 'no' seriously for 6 weeks. When his wife left town for a few days he finally could do as he pleased and had her brought to his bedroom. Just as he was about to make good his intentions in walks his wife. Asna result Trina was sent away on a 'diplomatic misson' and found herself in space claimed by an alien as a breeder. Dylos the highest ranking Centuri left after his planet was destroyed felt that claiming and breeding one of the humans was his duty. He never thought of or wanted more but when he became sick and Trina cared for him he got to know her and his feelings grew. Trina does earn some punishment to her backside but there are no cliffhangers and no cheating during this book. I read this book in exchange for an honest review.
I am loving this series so far! This one is a bit longer then the first one. And it shows a bit more about the Arythians customs. So it builds on the first book.
Trina is a woman who is kidnapped and tormented only to be sent off world to get rid of her by a powerful man. It is kinda twisted what he and his wife do to her. But because of this she gets sent to the Arythians and she gets chosen by the Admiral of the fleet, Dylos. He at first feels like she is just a means to an end and treats her as a breeder. But as time goes on Dylos starts wanting to defend her and he softens towards Trina.
I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one!
Dylos was so NOT looking for a mate but thankfully Trina was in the wrong place at the right time. It started for me in a whirl but soon made me wish for Dylos and Trina. I thought this story was a far fetched but then after the first few chapters it made more sense. I enjoyed it and it gave me insight into why Trina was treated the way she was and why Dylos made it his mission to mate with her. The writing was a bit jagged but it flowed towards the end. I thought that the way it was written was very good it was understandable and you could actually be in the story instead of just reading it.

I'm really enjoying this series so far. Even though it's a dark Sci-Fi it's definitely not your typical PNR. Plus this story was way longer then the previous one. I also felt like it shows a bit more of the Arythians customs which was interesting. But poor Trena really had it rough, couldn't catch a break at all. I'm just glad things work out in the end. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read plenty of laughable moment, intrigue, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end. Looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
I had the luxury of reading both His Captive Human and the sequel Ravished back to back.
This first novel is short, but sets up a what will be a great series. The second novel is longer but still something that can be read in 90 minutes.
At last aliens and humans who, like all good sci-fi romance novels and films, can speak and understand each other with embedded translators, misinterpreted figures of speech. Brilliant! Loved the flashes of humour
Both books very readable and I will look out for the next in the series!

These guys come on really strong at first with really strange feelings that they are better than the human females (that were deceived into going to space by a corrupt earth leader ) The brand of dominance they exert is full force from the first words they speak to their chosen female but after a couple of bumps in the learning process they discover that their females are more intelligent ,giving and loyal than they could have ever imagined and that they have been given a second chance for a great future. This couple Trena and Dylos are a great example of superior to equal in just about everything
The second book in the Centauri Captives and this one ended way better that the first one. The books do carry over from one to the other so read them in order. This is human Trina and Admiral Dylos the highest ranked Arythian. They will have a lot to get through before they get their happy ending as a virus has effected Dylos and Trina cares for him while he is sick. We do get to see more of Mantsk and Jess in this book as the fleet has now joined each other. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Trina is caught up in a series of horrible events. Every time she thinks there is a glimmer of hope, life twists the wrong way, so expecting things to be any different with Dylos seems absurd. But he is an Alien general with morals and honor, and when he realizes he has rushed to judgment, and been misled, he doesn’t blindly continue on the same path... though how he adapts might not be what Trina was hoping for.
Dylos is strict, stern and confident, but also willing to own his mistakes.
Made for a fun Kindle Unlimited done in one quick read.
I am really enjoying this series. I love how the authors pair up the characters and how they really seem to come alive. They start like a business transaction and transform into a wonderful HEA. The men are over the top dominant alphas and the ladies are no shrinking violets. I especially enjoyed the way these two characters survived something that could have killed anyone else, and took the time to develop such a strong relationship. There might be triggers for some people, but I enjoyed the darkness of the story and can’t wait to read the next book.
The first book seemed so rushed to me and the characters didn't really seem to have any chemistry but Trena and Dylos definitely had chemistry I couldn't help but laugh at many of the parts in this book it always kills me when I'm reading a sci-fi romance and the author writes about an alien trying to understand a women crying happy tears or sad tears LoL anyways I would recommend anyone to check this one out
This was a quick and easy alien romance. If this is a genre you’ve read before, then you’ll like this one. If you haven’t read any alien romance, this is an easy one to like. Think of alien romance much like a D\s romance. Lots of spankings, alpha males, lots of “claiming” and “mating”. Most of the time the alien male just about loses his cool with the Earth female because, let’s face it, we’re kinda crazy. I have really grown to love this genre. Give it a try. You just might like it.
I enjoyed this variation on the captive-female-taken-to breed theme introduced in book 1. Although I didn’t care for how Dylos came across at first, I did like him as the story evolved. The conditions under which Trina ended up on the “diplomatic transport” made me pale. I also enjoyed the twists presented in the plot exposing the evolving relationship. An enjoyable read. I received an ARC (Centauri Captives books 1-3 set) in exchange for my honest review.
This one is much better than the last and I can’t wait for the next book. I am having so much fun reading this. It may seem hateful at the start but as the story progress and the situation becomes clear, love blossoms between the Arythian and his human mate. There lies the beauty of the story.

What a fabulous story. Dylos came so far from where he started that he was almost a different person. I love that he was redeemed by his mate. Trreena had a rough introduction to Dylos but made the most of it and became so much more than she ever would have on earth. This is a great romance and the HEA is beautiful.
A drama, intrigue, and sexy read. Trina wakes to find she is the property of Dylos and their adventure begins. I loved the interaction between the characters. An interesting storyline I enjoyed with every turn of the page.

This book continues with the Admiral's story. He chooses Trina to be his breeder, but she breaks down his walls and becomes more than that. She's a well written character. Even though she falls in love with an alien that makes her call him master, she's still strong and likeable.
