If I had to say only one thing about this book is that the couple's love and their time together is breathtakingly beautiful and totally addictive. You really feel that bond come right off the page as you flip them through, even though having come from different backgrounds, having so much baggage and issues yet they get each other somehow and their chemistry just pulls at you.
Of course, It's great to see friendship between two woman and it really comes through, Natalie and Eva are amazing, they have a history and a bond. Sarah is one of my favorite characters, a strong driven woman who has her own agenda but with war is on its breaking yet her rebel hearts still makes place for love and supporting her friend and to fight for a higher cause.
Overall, I love how woman are portraited throughout the book, no competition, no jealousy, no frigile figures, only passionate, hardworking, unconforming woman. It's about love, friendship, loss and going against the tide to do what's right and just.
