Anthony started writing years ago as a hobby, but it quickly turned into a passion. He first began publishing under the name, Kane Caldwell, but has since changed the name he will continue publishing under. He is the epitome of a country boy with jeans, t-shirt, hat (No, not a cowboy hat. Lol), scruffy face, and work boots on, driving his truck and definitely not a guy you'd picture writing romance. Anthony works in the construction business where he runs his own crew. He has two awesome boys, and an amazing woman that keeps him on the edge. Anthony resides in the south where the weather is warm but most times sweltering hot. During down time, he loves to be surrounded by family, friends, great food, or engrossed in a good book. And of course, putting his imagination to work, where reality and fantasy collide.

I loved this book! It took me a while to get to it, but so glad I finally did. The author did a fantastic job, weaving the intricate and sensitive storyline of mental health and suicide, in with the romance. Books with these kinds of subject matter draw me in for some reason. I loved the relationship between Callen and Noelle, the chemistry and sexual tension between them was strong, and there were so many different emotions playing throughout. While reading, I was wondering, as things went on, about what brought them together. The mystery of this kept me glued to my kindle. I highly recommend this book.

Day 31 by Anthony Dwayne was absolutely amazing. I was a little hesitant on reading this book since it briefly mentions topics of mental health and suicide – stories that I tend to shy away from. With that being said, I was pleased in the direction that Kane had taken in writing these complex characters. This story about Callen and Noelle was entertaining and full of twists. As the story progressed, I may have been thinking I knew where it was going, but Kane’s writing style had me stopping and thinking that I could be wrong. Needless to say, I was glued to the kindle and couldn’t put the book down. The book has a wonderful love story with a HEA, but also has the right mixed of erotica that keeps you wanting more.
