People don't like warlocks. They really don’t like warlocks. Mark Vedis just became the last warlock in the world. He’s got really bad timing. This Southeast Asia Paranormal Police Department box set gives you over 800 pages of action-packed, hilarious adventure that will keep you laughing well into the night. It also includes a bonus story about a naughty demon who ends up playing the role of Santa Claus!
Mark Vedis was an average cop. Average for a mage in the Paranormal Police Department (PPD), anyway. After years of doing the jobs nobody else wanted, his career, and life, seemed to be on hold.
Then he met a foul-mouthed demon named Bert who filled him with power, unlocked his warlock heritage, and dumped him into a world of wealth, intrigue, and debauchery. Demons make for interesting roommates, to say the least.
When Mark is forced to confront a suite of super-powered creatures throughout Southeast Asia, his world goes into a major spiral. Blood is spilled, lives are shredded, and Mark finds himself learning what it really means to be a warlock.
Along with his new demon companion (strictly platonic), his naga and android companions will travel with him to Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, and the demon level of Hell to confront supernatural threats unlike any the world has ever seen.
If they fail, the world will fall into a pit of doom, crushing reality as we know it...
No pressure for his first week on the job.
If they succeed, though, they'll finally be able to grab some Pad Thai and octopus-covered pizza. And you thought pineapple pizza was weird...

I laughed out loud several times while reading these books. Hilarious, naughty, and just plain fun, with a side of paranormal police work. Mark is such a gentleman and Bert is so mischievous. Stone is awesome. If you don't like silly naughty humor these books aren't for you but if you like inappropriate silliness these are definitely worth the read.
This author has graciously bundled together his first three novels about Mike Vedis in the Southeastern Asian PPD and his team, Bert is his partner and is a blue demon of diminutive size. He works to irritate Mike and all that is around him, including Mike's girlfriend. Between three of them they can get into some almighty fixes. The last book in this bundle is a cute, "grody" strange Christmas story staring non other than Bert. How the demons and humans celebrate Christmas is different to say the least. Snarky, funny, violent, sometimes gross, you can't go wrong with this bundle.
Laugh out loud story lines. I enjoyed these books immensely. Best to read them in isolation. My hubby got a bit annoyed by my frequent laughter. It's full on action combined with uncouth humor so if you're not broad minded it's best to give it a miss and I might feel a bit sorry for you. You'll miss out on a great yarn.😁
Hysterical, irreverent and just great stories! The characters are fun and became more alive and relatable with each story. I really looked forward to finding out more about them with every book. If you want well-written, light-hearted stories, this collection is for you.
Great stories & characters.Good action, hilarious.I'd party with these guys anytime. Can't wait to read more from the PPD.Glad to see how Bert & Samantha got hooked up.
A good book as long as you can get past the dick jokes
If you are easily offended, don't even think about it. If you like crass language, sexual charged dialogue and lots of fanservice, this is just the book for you. I enjoyed the plot, how we find a little more each book and how the characters are linked. My only problem is that after a while the dick jokes started to get old. I personally felt like it crossed the line of amusing to boring.
